Doing business the bad old way

Beware of the bait and switch! The offer I received in no way resembled the advertised price. This is a dealership that does business with smoke and mirrors not with the transparency we should demand. My own experience with John Harper and Jeff Saleeby was not a positive one - I'd recommend you look elsewhere for a good deal on a Subaru.

I recently bought a 2015 Subaru Impreza from Bath Subaru. My experience with this dealer was excellent. The salesperson was knowledgeable, friendly, and, above all, helpful. The same was true for the sales manager. We did engage in some tough negotiations over trade-in value, but were able to come to an agreement that I found satisfactory. I was very impressed with the salesperson's follow-up. He called me a few days after my purchase to see how I liked my new car, and to assure me he would provide any help I might need in the future. I believe he will honor that commitment. I certainly would buy another car from Bath Subaru, and will definitely recommend this dealer to others.

Not impressed

I asked for a price quote via Edmunds web site. I got a response 2 days later with a quote that was the same as MSRP. The sales manager who answered the email also told me to call of one of his sales. Bath Subaru is free to do business any way they please, but considering 2 other dealers had quoted me prices about 10% below the sticker and responded to my emails immediately, I don't plan on bothering with Bath Subaru.

Excellent sales team

Bath Subaru is a strait talking smaller dealership. There are no trips back and forth to the manager and unpleasant haggling. They don't waste your time. Their initial price was a fair price. Our salesman was polite, genuinely friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. Bath Subaru's service is a strong reason to purchase from them as they offer a discount to owners who purchased there and they won't hand you a list of expensive "fixes" you don't really need to do like some service departments. I'd buy there again.
