Poor diagnostic skills

I brought my 2014 Silverado into their shop after it stopped running going down the road. I asked them to check it out and let me know what was wrong. They called me about 2 days later stating that the motor was fully gunked up and would need to be replaced at a cost of around $10,000. Since I did not have the money obviously I had to have the truck towed back to my home. Once it arrived I found that they never even took the time to reassemble the engine and left the valve covers un attached, the oil dipstick was missing, and various bolts just laying everywhere. After me calling and complaining they sent someone out to at least put the engine back together 3-4 days later. I then took the truck to another garage who diagnosed the problem as a fouled catalytic converter Y pipe assembly that needed replacing. After replacing the assembly everything is working correctly and the truck is running fine. In all fairness the mechanic that they sent out to reassemble the engine said this may be the issue but nobody other than him ever mentioned anything concerning fixing the vehicle other than replacing the whole engine which would obviously have not even fixed the underlying issue of the catalytic converters. I do not know why anyone I spoke to on the phone would not let me know what was really wrong but I have lost all faith in this dealership in either their ability to accurately diagnose a problem or honestly let a customer know of a cheaper fix that would fix the underlying issue.

The service was exceptional. Scott was very helpful taking my car in and calling with what they found wrong. The work was done to our satisfaction. The young lady in the office was very professional. Awesome experience!

I thought something was wrong with the winch system on my Yukon and was prepared to replace, but the shop foreman figured it out and did not have to replace it. I feel they were awesome in trying to help me. They were going to stay late just to make sure it was fixed because my family was going out of town. Awesome! Thanks again.!!!

Chevy Equinox Seat Bolt recall

The first time I called to make an appointment after I received the letter stating that parts for the recall were now available, I was told they didn't have parts. I waited two weeks and called back and got transferred, cut off, had to call back got transferred several more times before someone made me an appointment for 8am the next morning. There were no cars in line when I arrived and they took my car immediately. They said it would be a couple of hours until the car was ready, so I called my husband to come get me and take me home. We received a call that the car was ready to be picked up at 12:00 noon just as we were about to eat lunch. We finished our lunch and returned to get the car. Two things they could have done differently: 1, they could have offered to have someone take me home, 2, they could/should have offered the parts removed from my car as evidence of what work had been done. GOOD EXPERIENCE

My experience is always good. The only thing is no one can tell me why when I get my oil changed that the next oil change is set at 5,000 and sometimes its put at 3,000 miles. Its never the same, its always different everytime.

I have been using Bellamy for 5 yrs. service is great and the facilities have been upgraded. Provided a rental while my vehicle was being serviced and clean it for me. Only one negative. Last service visit, the employee who was fixing my car must have been smoking cigarettes inside my Yukon or near it the doors up. Ashes inside the car. Also the 3rd row seat was wet and folded up. I laid the seats down when I got home and dried them off.

amazing customer service

I brought my 2011 Buick lacrosse In for service work. I have have bad experiences at dealerships before. But after arriving at the service department Sean Simmons came right out and was very pleasant and helpful. He went out of his way to help with my issues. He kept me informed of the problems, and through the process he kept me updated without me having to call and check. And because of his customer service through out the entire repair process, I will be using this service center for any of my needs with all three of my gm vehicles.

In the three months I have owned my 2015 GMC Denali, I have not been able to locate my 5h wheel wiring. The Service Advisor was very courteous with my scheduled service and oil change. She also introduced me to a mechanic that pointed me to the location of the wiring.
