Service Dept managers n Chevy repair specialist

Dropped off my granddaughter's graduation gift , a 2012 Chevy Cruze to be checked out....because because I heard a suspicious sound coming from under the hood...to my relief , service manager Mr Paul immediately went to work to helping me resolved the clicking noise, by having one of his top mechanics to analyze the problem. To my dismay it was a lot worse than I imagined...Mr. Paul was very helpful in contacting my warranty package team ...to get some fire 🔥 under them to approved the repairs. Thank you Rick Hendricks Chevrolet service for resolving this dilemma n now we can happily celebrate my only granddaughters graduation day by presenting her with a safe n road worthy vehicle ...Mr Paul u n your service Team are the Best ....Ms Rudy<br>

Rick Hendricks Chevrolet Buford Georgia

In my 46 years of being a vehicle owner and operator, this was the absolute worse experience I have encountered! The "1 -Star" is only because the drop-off experience was good. It was all downhill after that. The original work that was to be completed (a GM recall, and an issue with Stabilitrac) was not completed! I also asked for my transmission to be checked due to shifting issues. This did require work that was performed, and we will see if it is actually fixed over the next couple weeks of driving. It is better than it was. However, it is "hard-shifting" on deceleration now. So, this jury is still out. The car was to be completed in a few days. However, due to a part order it was extended to a week. However, there continued to be excuses as to why it was not done, and at the end of the day, this dealership had my vehicle for 3 weeks and still did not complete all the work. In addition, the service managers were quite unresponsive, and some were even rude. I attempted to reach a general manager or department manager and was denied. I even had to spend over $350 additional to rent a vehicle because this work was not completed as promised. This is only a brief summary of the things that occurred during this time frame. There were a lot of "reasons" why delays occurred. Some of which were acceptable. However, it is completely unacceptable to be told one thing and then to not receive that communication or to meet the deadlines that were promised. Nor is it acceptable to be treated so poorly. Again, the original work WAS NOT COMPLETED! I have saved a copy of these comments and am submitting them directly to GM, as I do not trust the owners of this survey to do so.

Traveling

As we were traveling we had water pump issues. Rick Hendricks Chevrolet repaired our vehicle. After some discussion with Rick Hendricks (Nancy Smith) and my insurance (Ally) we were able to get repairs done at no cost to us. I would highly recommend Rick Hendricks (Nancy Smith) as Service Advisor). Thank you so much Nancy for your help.

Traveling need replacement part

I have Ally insurance, which pays 100%. We paid out of pocket to get repaired on Saturday. Ally says they will only pay to Manufactured suggested retail price. So I am now out approximately $100 due to your overcharging. I am not satisfied with your methods.

Service Department getting better

I called ahead to advise them that I was running late for my scheduled maintenance. The person on the other line said, go ahead and come in anyway; we will work on your truck in between other appointments. I was greeted at the door with no attitude for being late. I was advised that there was a recall and given the option if I wanted the work done today. I told the service agent that I would have to come back for the recall work. I can say with an appointment or not; the maintenance department usually takes over an hour to perform an oil change, rotation of tires. Today I am glad to say the work was done in under an hour, which means that they are moving in the right direction to value their customer's time. Thank you!

Great Customer Service

This is the second time I have been in for service at the Chevrolet Dealership located in Buford GA for service and I had a great experience both times . 1st- Service Date 6/23/15 - John Dehass , my Sales Person handled the arrangements as the car had a bent wheel that was straighten before delivery , I can’t even tell it was fixed 2nd - 6/25/15 - program new key FOB – John Dehass , once again handled the arrangements with the Chevy Store as the car only had one fob and I wanted two for obvious reasons and I wanted the lost fob erased from the car . I also wanted them programed as #1 and # 2 fob , they understood exactly what I wanted and why , I was taken right in when promised , kept abreast of the progress and then the writer explained thoroughly what was done when it was complete 3rd - 4/19/16 - Replace Harmonic Balancer . My service writers name is Mike Nolan . I travel for my job so last week on Thursday I brought it in for someone to look at it , Mike agreed that the balancer was bad and that the replacement was covered under my warranty so we made arrangements to drop the car off 1st thing on Tuesday as I really needed to have it back in one day . Mike called parts to make sure they had the part in stock and asked the parts dept to put my name on it . At 3:00 PM I got a call stating it was done Needless to say the car is a Corvette and I am very picky about it . My car was returned to me and I cannot even tell that someone worked on it Also I bought the car from a HENDRICK sister dealership, Mall Of Georgia Mazda and that was one of the most pleasurable experiences I have ever had in purchasing a car. As I stated above the sales man that sold me the car was a gentleman by the name of John Dehass . My Wife and I were driving past the dealership late one Sunday evening and saw the car on the front line , I explained to John that I really did not need a newer Corvette as I already had one and that this was strictly and impulse buy, he stayed long after closing on a Sunday to help my wife and I with the purchase ... he went above and beyond ....I bought this car because of John and his wonderful personality and knowledge I am also not a big believer in extended warranties but the young lady that help us after the sale was also Awesome and that was the reason I purchased the Hendricks Warranty Please make sure all are recognized for the OUTSTANDING customer service that this team provided my wife and I Regards Dave Casole

A single female's friend

I bought an older trailblazer with over 200,000 miles (at a used car place). After driving it a week, I noticed a vibration and the antifreeze had just disappeared. No visible leak just gone. Let me first say that I bought it with confidence even with the high mileage. Why? Because I have taken all of my vehicles to your mechanic over the past decade and no matter what the issue, he has always got me back on the road in a timely manner and gave me a whole new outlook on car repair. My car had to stay and I was given a ride home. When it was time to pick it up I was just getting off a plane, trying to make it from Atlanta to Buford in rush hour traffic before 7pm. You do the math. All it took was a phone call and my car was safely accessible to me after hours. Stress gone! Before coming to your dealership for repairs I would get so stressed out whenever I needed a mechanic. Now I am stress free when I need repair. THAT MEANS SO MUCH TO ME! And your service department is incredible. I can call the service rep directly and get results. Thank you for the great service and feeling of security from a single female who will be a repeat customer for decades to come.

I've been a Chevy Owner all my life and Rick Hendrick Chevrolet Buford comes second to none when it comes to service. Mike A. went above and beyond to make sure I was in the Car (I) wanted. I didn't feel rushed,we even had a great time talking about football. It's Definitely A good feeling riding off the lot knowing that people have your best interest. Great Service

It was time for my scheduled oil change and tire rotation. I also was concerned about the recall of certain GM and Chevrolet cars if my 2014 Chevy Cruze was one of the cars. However, the service department checked and told me I was not included. They reassured me everything was A-ok. I had another wonderful experience with the service department. They were polite as always and very efficient. Despite the dealership being close to 50 miles from me, I always look forward to going because I know they will provide me with the best service possible. Thanks for being the best ever!!!
