My lease was coming to an end so I needed to make a decision on my next ride. It was time to get to lia hyundai in Hartford. I was greeted once inside by Miguel Serrano. He asked what I was interested in test driving and made those specific cars available down to the specific trim. After I chose the car I wanted it was a very easy process. Miguel made sure to get me out of there with a new car, clean,detailed, and fueled up ready for the open road. Can't say enough good things about the overall experience at lia hyundai. Sewell Minto was a great person to work with purchasing my second new car at the dealership. He most patient and understanding what my needs were. Rebecca Starkey, greeted me warmly when I first went in. I explained that I wanted to get some info on hybrid cars, but that I was particularly interested in PHEV’s. I clearly indicated that I was doing my due diligence and was not expecting to make any decision and I had other cars and dealers to check. We talked for over nearly two hours, as she walked me through the differences and advantages of the Models and trim packages. Everything that she said and did, …, I bought a Tucson PHEV, 3 DAYS LATER. But it didn’t stop there. The Manager, Finance Manager and service advisors, we’re all very attentive and understanding of my issues and concerns. Everyone that I encountered was very helpful and it is easy to extend a wholehearted recommendation to visit this Dealership. My choice of car and features is unlikely to be the same as yours, part if your doing your due diligence on electric, hybrid or PHEV’s, time spent with Becca or this dealership, will not be wasted. I received a letter from Lia Hyundai of Hartford on Monday listing a variety of incentives available if I came in Saturday and traded in the Kona EV I bought from them in 2019. Well, I can't say I was surprised when Erik B. said I should have read the fine print on the back of the letter. I wasn't eligible to combine all the incentives. Nevertheless, in the time between when I received the letter and that morning I did a lot of on-line shopping and pretty much decided which car I wanted to try to buy and how much money I wanted to borrow. Though it didn't all play out quite as I had envisioned it, I ended up getting the car I wanted and financed very close to the amount of money I had expected. Erik was extremely cordial throughout. He demonstrated knowledge of the cars and made the test drive a fun experience even though I am always terrified I will get in an accident on a test drive. The sales manager and finance agent I spoke to were equally pleasant and helpful. I can't imagine anyone enjoying car shopping (spending that much money is always stressful to someone of my economic status), but Erik and company made it as positive an experience as possible. Also, Erik called me a couple of days later to make sure I was still pleased with my purchase. I definitely am. The Ioniq5 is an awesome car.

This review refers only to my experience with my salesman, Sewell Minto. I went to Lia based on a marketing piece I received in the mail since I had purchased a car there in 2021. Although I didn't qualify for the program advertised, Sewell talked to me about other possible options. He showed me the car I ended up buying, trading in my 2021 purchase to buy the 2023 car. He took a great deal of time showing me all the features of the new model and introduced me to "JD" the finance person. Sewell helped me clean out the 2021 car and transferred everything to my new car. He was efficient, friendly, personable, and extremely helpful. I would recommend him to anyone interested in a salesman who knows his products and understands great customer service

My wife Sue and I entered the dealership and there was someone sitting behind what looked like a reception desk. We expected to be asked to take a seat and wait for a salesperson. It turned out the person sitting behind the desk was our salesperson Rebecca (Becca) Starkey. Rebecca greeted us and asked what we were interested in. We told her that Hyundai was the first dealership we were visiting, and we were interested in the Tucson but would be visiting Honda, KIa and maybe Nissan to look at similar vehicles. There was no pressure, no attempt to downgrade the competition etc when we sat down to exchange information. Becca gave us a tour of the Tucson and offered a test drive. We left the dealership with an "out- the-door estimate and a confirmation of the financing offer. Again, there was no pressure as we were leaving. As we were making the decisions we had some questions which Becca answered quickly and clearly. When we decided on the car and came in to close the purchase, there were no surprises. Becca gave us a detailed walk through of the features of the Tucson. My wife gave her a hug and we drove off. Since then, Becca called to see if we had any follow up questions or concerns. We have been very pleases with her service.

I am a repeat customer of Lia Hyundai Hartford! When I say I have dealt with many excellent Sales & Service personnel at Lia Hartford I am not exaggerating at all. What I will say is that I just purchased another vehicle at Lia recently; and while i usually dread the process.... it was, dare I say, an extremely pleasant, no pressure process this time. Quaran was my salesperson & his expertise and knowledge of the product and technology coupled with his calm, unassuming and no- pressure demeanor was the highlight of my purchase experience! Shout out to Dane & Hector in Service who are fantastic and Gavin for being available if & when needed! Moe.. thank you for dealing with ALL of the paperwork in a friendly & expeditious manner. I purchased the 2023 Tucson Hybrid from Sewell Minto at Lia Hyundai of Hartford, CT recently. Sewell was knowledgeable, friendly, funny, helpful, and a gentleman. Pleased to recommend him. Falling short one star mainly because of the time. Was told in the pitch the whole transaction could be completed in an hour. Initial discussion and test drive was about a half hour, total transaction was close to four hours, from 10:30am to 2:30pm, really throwing my weekend plans way off, but sending me home with a gem of a car I'm pleased to own. I'd send anybody to Sewell. He made it a pleasure.
