Horrible Service!

Do NOT being your car here for service. They charge you for an 'A' Tech and have a kid do the actual service. There is no communication between the service writers and the techs. They scratched my car and over charged me for the service. When I tried to get some sort of resolution from the service manager Al, he never contacted me.

Gary Rome is a great place to have my KIA serviced. The time that I was given for oil change, recall work & car wash was two hours, but they were done and I was out of there in one hour. Great job.

Great Experience

Came in for oil change and had a card from KIA for free wipers and cabin filter. Service consultant stated that the card had been upgraded to include oil change so there was to be no cost to me. Consultant also said I needed a tire rotation and performed that as well. Topped it off with a car wash. I could not be more pleased with this dealership. Aside from the dealership being a bit of a drive for me (about 30 minutes) I have nothing but great things to say about it. Thanks again.

Prompt, professional and friendly service

Had a routine 10,000 mile service, but have also had issues with my GPS almost since the day I got the car. Didn't have to remind them of the lingering issue and they had some new information to try to correct it, with a suggestion that a replacement may be needed if this doesn't work. All work was done in a little over an hour, including two pending recall items. Very satisfied with service.

Slipshod service results in broken promises

Absolutely horrid customer service from Gary Rome Kia's service department. I won't be taking my 2012 Optima back to them, or doing business with them in the future. In September, I brought the car in for an oil change, and I brought synthetic oil for them to use. The service advisor, Mr. Borovicka, said this wouldn't be a problem. When the work was done, I got home to find I still had a full case of oil in the back seat, and a charge for Citgo semi-synthetic oil on my bill. And the next day, I found a small puddle of oil under the car in my garage. I wrote to the service manager, Al Fontaine, to give Gary Rome Kia the opportunity to make this right. He said "I am also going to credit you back for the charge you incurred while here on this visit. I am also going to put a note in the system that you next service is going to free I will take care of that for you with the mobil one." With Mr. Fontaine aware that I'd be in Thursday evening, I made the 45-minute trek back to Gary Rome. Mr. Fontaine was nowhere to be found, and Mr. Borovicka wasn't expecting me. He didn't seem to be aware there was a problem. He didn't change the oil. His service tech wiped up the oil they spilled on the car's underbody shield when they did the previous change. He didn't offer me a free service; instead, he offered me a discount coupon. And I have yet to see any refund for the botched oil change as promised, either. Work not done as requested, work done in a slipshod manner, promises made but not fulfilled, lack of communication to the detriment of the customer... ...and then two letters in the mail on the same day, begging for an "outstanding" rating on any follow-up survey. "Our goal is 100% customer satisfaction. WE WILL NOT BE HAPPY UNTIL YOU ARE!" says the letter Mr. Borovicka signed. Unfortunately, Gary Rome's actions don't reflect that sentiment.

4 visits & not fixed

When I purchased a car I said my payment could not be more than 325.00 Ended up 411.00. also the tpms light was on. They said no problem. Service would fix it. 4 visits to get it fixed. two of those times they had the car all day. Still not fixed. Now there are two lights on. They have one more day. Other things are wrong with the car. they haven't been fixed either. Good thing I have 100% warranty.
