The customer service lady!!!!

I think her name was Denise. She ensured to that I felt comfortable and getting my vechile service in a timely matter by providing updates to me! I really appreciated her!!! Nice job!!

Lost trust in Elway Chevrolet.

Made appointment for oil change, and Service Advisor Don tried to sell me $300 of additives, I settled for $45 worth of additives at the time of the call. Took the car for oil change on 2/11. I got the impression that Don and/or the mechanic tried to swindle me into a costly and unnecessary enginge repair. After about an hour being there, Don said the mechanic told him there is an oil leak and asked if I wold authorize $13 dye. Of course I authorized and added that I have Mechanical Breakdown insurance, that I would want to make sure any problems get taken care of (as an afterthought I believe Don understood that an inspector from insurance was a possibility). Don said the mecahnic wiped the leak area clean. I asked which side of the engine did he wipe? Don said he doesn't know. I told him to please ask the mechanic so I can keep an eye on it. He said he would. 10 minutes later, Don said the car is ready. I aksed again which part had the mechanic cleaned? He again said he didn't know. I asked to find out. He called the mechanic, and the mechanic said left front side. I thanked, and left with understanding that I would come back for them to check on the dye leak. But Don sent me away without trying to even arrange for a return to have the dye checked (there was no charge for the dye on my bill, so I even suspect they did not even put the dye in). When I got home, I noticed that the notes had two leaks reported: Break Line and Engine. I called Don back and he said that the Break Line comment was an error he just could not remove it. Something in the whole experience did not instill trust in Don and the mechanic (telling me abuot wiping a leak clean 1 hr after I was there, and in 10 minutes the care was ready, not following through about where the mechanic had actually wiped clean, the break line leak comment in the notes). Took the car to Bozarth Chevrolet on 2/14 and told them the whole story. Upon inspection they found the oil filter was loose, replaced the oil filter and did not charge me anything. So, the Elway mechanic who replaced the oil filter could not have noticed an oil leak upon inspection that is supposed to take place before touching the car (i.e., removing oil plug, filter, etc.). He knew there was an oil leak because it happened after replacing the filter, which means the car would have to be lowered from the rack and started. He couldn't tell the leak was from the loose filter he had just replaced? The leak was minor. That means he didn't have to wipe an entire side of the engine (Don said the oil was all over the place). Apropos, I never had any oil spots on my driveway, until after the Elway oil change on 2/11. Naturally, after Bozarth replaced teh filter on 2/14, I no longer get new oil spots (and I deliberately park in different spots to double check for oil leaks) . I would have never expected Grease Monkey (about whom many people complain) experience at an authorized dealer. And this is the 2nd negative experience with Elway Chevrolet. If this was football, the score would be Bozarth Chevrolet 21 : Elway Chevrolet 0.

2002 GMC Brake problems

Excellent service, was told up front that the parts were on backorder, had no problem waiting. They kept me up to date through the process and got the truck fixed up great.

Why I can't recommend this dealership

Why is it that the service center and the sales department don't have the ability to communicate? I should not have to bring in my paperwork when I buy the service and repair warranty and all that I did from you? Your people should be able to look up any thing purchased at your dealership. Whether it is getting a new key or tire if I come to your service area I should be able to get it with just my name and ID. This is not a slam on the employees but on your company. Your people do not have the ability to do something as simple as put the correct address on paperwork after they are told about an error. Very poorly supported by the owners.

A Very Satisfied Customer!

We used to have our 2005 Buick Rainier serviced at John Elway Chevrolet after the dealership where we bought it closed. After purchasing the GMC, we were not at all happy with the service department at that dealership. John Elway Chevrolet said they would service it. We couldn't be happier. Great service!!

25,000 mile service

I had my 2014 Silverado serviced. Andy, the service manager also noticed that there was a recall for the vehicle. He took care of the oil change, tire rotation and the recall that day. Andy is very pleasant to deal with.

GREAT customer service

We always have amazing customer service at John Elway Chevrolet on South Broadway, but this last visit was OUTSTANDING. I took my car in last week to check out a coolant leak. I was helped by Chris Vendegnia. I received a call within a couple hours of dropping it off telling me what the diagnosis of my car was; A part had cracked that should not have cracked on a car with only 50k miles on it. After speaking with Chris, he was able to repair the cracked piece completely free of charge. Chris understood that I was very frustrated about the broken piece, and he did everything he could to help relieve that frustration with a smile on his face the entire time. Chris is very polite and has great customer service skills. I definitely recommend this dealership and Chris for all your maintenance needs!

Awesome service

Nail in left rear tire of 2013 Chevy Avalanche. Repair did not hold, but John Elway team sent a person to my office to pick up the tire, put the spare on, and returned my (repaired) tire to my home, removed the spare, installed the repaired tire, and replaced the spare. The OE jack was faulty and I expect a free more robust jack to be replaced as soon as it becomes available.

The rapture of the remotes

I suppose this is like so many of life's little precious moments. If I had known what an extended procedure this was going to turn out to be, I would have never attempted to replace the batteries in my remotes. It really is not that big a hassle to physically lock and unlock the car, by actually inserting the key in the lock. Oh well, we live and learn. It's not the fault of the dealership, everybody there could not have been nicer, it is just the programmed obsolescence of the remotes. I will probably be dead before they have to be replaced again, so it is not a problem of any consequence.
