Rodent Damage to Engine Harness

Rodents had chewed thru the engine harness causing some of the engine sensors to not work. This was an expensive repair ($3500). The service advisor made me aware that my automobile comprehensive insurance might cover the bulk of this repair less my deductible. It does and he worked with the claims adjuster to facilitate the repair and payment. While the initial diagnosis was challenging I was very satisfied with the final outcome.

Yearly Service on EV

Oil change on rex engine and yearly maintenance check. Promised loaner car but “ran out” of cars by my morning appointment time - 8:40a. Overall ok transaction but the BMW experience is costly.

Great service and advice

I recently had my BMW X5 serviced at BMW of Mountain View. Brandon was great in assessing the situation/needs, and providing me important information about my lease given mileage. This enabled me to reach out to the sales team (Joe W) who I have worked with on multiple leases. As usual, they were quick to respond and provide options. In terms of the service, it was done the same day I brought the car in and was provided access to Lyft. Great experience

Service tech didn't return multiple requests for information

I brought my older BMW to BMW of Mountain View for recall service, which they did complete promptly and free of charge. My issue lies in that I asked a couple times in the preceding few days if I'd be getting a loaner car, so I can plan my day around it, since I am leaving in the middle of the workday to get the service done. I don't mind not getting a loaner car, it is a free service after all, I just needed to know to plan around it. I called three times to get a response and was told every time that my tech was busy and would call me back. He never called me back. I found it unprofessional.

Excellent service for my new 2023 M3!

I just want to say how pleased I was with my recent experience at BMW Of Mountain View! I leased a beautiful 2023 M3 a few months ago and I brought it in for its' 1200 mile service. I was immediately greeted and attended to...I didn't have to wait for a greeter to approach me. I was then introduced to my service advisor, Justin Wyatt who was pleasant, cordial, and very professional! He prepared the paperwork promptly and he answered some questions I had with utmost knowledge and competence. He also brought in a BMW "Genius" named Mike Gesner who answered a few questions I had that Justin was not able to answer for me with all certainty. Both know what they are doing, and my experience was one that I give an A+ to! Within a couple of hours, my car was ready and I was on my way. Previous to the M3, I leased a Mercedes 2020 AMG C63 and even though the sales and service teams were up to my satisfaction, I just wasn't that crazy about the car to the point I was happy when I turned the car in at the end of the lease. Before the Benz, I leased a 2018 M3 from my good friend and great guy, Joe Wahler who is the leasing manager there. But more on him in another survey. I'm a definitely a BMW guy as Mercedes cars are "over-engineered" for my taste. I felt that that I needed a degree in automotive engineering to figure the car out. Not so with the M3, everything is much more straight forward and less complicated than the Benz. That's why I returned to Mountain View to lease another M3. Thank you for taking the time to read my review, and I strongly suggest that Mr. Wyatt, Gesner, and Wahler receive the accolades they deserve! I really love my M3, and I'm very happy with it! That car is a fire breathing beast, and I will lease another one when my current lease runs out in 2026, or I may opt to keep the one I have now...time will tell. Regards, Joe Jacobs
