Service at Babbitt Ford Flagstaff

Transmission failed, covered under extended Warranty. It took oat 6 weeks to get approved by insurance and repaired. Service team was great but they're short-staffed for transmission service mechanics. .

Service

On August 17, 2022 our F150 Platinum model 2010 truck was near a flagpole when a lightning bolt struck which did a lot of damage to electronic parts causing it to shut down. Our vehicle was towed to the dealers lot and remained there until April 2023 when parts finally became available for it to be repaired. I appreciate all the work that was done on the truck and it has been great to have it back and in good condition. Many things have changed at the dealership during this time but the quality of work was very satisfactory under the circumstances and the workers did a fine job. I hope to have this vehicle for a long time now.

Ford, Babbitt, Flagstaff

Way too expensive. 9 days longer than expected. No communication until after I responded to unprofessional conduct and contradictory quotes from the service clerk. The costs went up by 20% without anyone telling me that that would happen until I was presented with the bill. I have an after-sales warranty that appears not to have been used at all. Sloppy and unreliable staff. I will not be using the place again.

Amazing Experience

Having been a customer of Babbitt Ford since 2015, this has been the best experience by far. Just about every previous experience has left me with a bad taste. They have a new employee, Billy, in the service department that almost made up for all of the frustration I’ve experienced in the past. As long as Billy is there (or his approach to customer service) I will actually not dread taking my vehicle in for service.

Stranded in Flagstaff, AZ

Traveling to Texas, check engine light came on and I pulled into Flagstaff, AZ to google a Ford Dealership and went to Babbitt Ford. My Service Rep Scott Lawson was amazing, listened to me and made sure while I had to wait to see was a scan would say that Walter the drive transported me to and from a recommended place for breakfast. Walter the driver was polite and very nice. I ended up having to leave my F250 and fly home to California. Walter drove me to the airport and due to the snow storm had no flights out until the next day. Called Babbit Ford spike to Scott and he had Walter puck me up and take me to a nice safe hotel. Wednesday morning 2/15/23, Babbit Ford sent their driver RT to pick me up and transport me back to the airport. RT wS as nice and polite as Walter. While standing in line at the airport, I told others about the fabulous service that Babbitt Ford provided far and above I have ever received from. Ford Dealership

This my second Ford F-150 Lariat 4x4 that I have purchased from Babbit Ford and have had my service performed there. Frankly the only service needed was two plastic trim that just weren't up,to,the job and regular 5000 mi standard service. The service writing staff are courteous, throughtful truthful, knowledgeable and pleasant .

Unethical Business Practices

While the Manager Ryan Chan is a very personable and helpful individual, he is overshadowed by his unethical Uncle/Babbit FORD Owner Alan Chan. Beware the Body Shop and Dealership. They were tasked with replacing stripes, glass, front splitter, and repainting the front bumper. The only thing they did correctly was the glass. They ruined $2200 stripes and the bumper has an exorbitant amount of flaws in the paint. It looks like they painted it outside during a dust storm. The owner Alan Chan refuses to reimburse what was paid out for the hack job they did. In fact his idea of taking responsibility for the butcher job they did is by making me find a new place to have the stripes put on and then I am out of luck if they mess up. I PAID YOU BABBITT FORD COLLISION/ALAN CHAN TO DO THE JOB CORRECTLY. YOU FAILED TO DO IT RIGHT AND TO MAKE UP FOR YOUR FAILURE. I WANT A COMPLETE REFUND IMMEDIATELY.

Great shopping in Flagstaff

The Ford 500 needed a new turn signal lamp. I called the day the bulb failed, and Jim in the Service Department was able to schedule an appointment for the next day. He asked if my car was due for an oil change, and I noticed it would need that service within 800 miles, so he scheduled that at the same time. What great planning and timing. My car was in and out of the shop in a short period of time. I had planned to take a walk to look into the downtown shops in Flagstaff, and found many treasures and a few birthday and Christmas gifts. Jim called me to advise me the car was ready, and I made my way back to the dealership. This turned out to be a wonderful day in Flagstaff - and my car is fixed and ready to go! The repair and oil change were very affordable. I love my car with all it's blinkers working! Thank you all at Jim Babbitt Ford!

Oil Change

I made an appointment for a service on my Ford Escape ahead of time. I got both an email and a text saying my appointment was at 5:00, I thought I had made it for 4 but maybe was mistaken so I took my car at 5. I wasn't greeted the way I normally am. Jim is always very kind to me but this time Bernie scolded me that both my email and text were wrong. I was more than willing to make another appointment but when I asked Bernie huffed, puffed and rolled his eyes. Once Jim walked in he, as usual, was extremely kind and tried to find a way to help, to which Bernie yelled back "I'm going home!" Jim ended up making it so they could change my oil and I am so grateful. Again, I was willing to make a new appointment if need be. I go to the Ford Dealer often and Jim is always so extremely helpful. This time I didn't appreciate being scolded for a mistake that was an inconvenience to both them and me.

Jim took wonderful care of my problems, in fact the mechanic found that the protective cover on the oil pan was missing and replaced it. Great job and completed in a timely manner.
