Best car buying experience I've ever had!

by botoboto on 11/03/2012

I am writing this review because it is an injustice to this dealership to have that unfair review. I purchased a new KIA Optima in July and had an excellent experience. The sales person was professional and knowledgeable. The first price he quoted was very acceptable and since he didn't have the color I wanted, said he could have it brought in and ready in two days. I called him back after a day or so of researching this car and bought the car. In two days he called and I picked up the car. It even had more accessories than we talked about, and they did not charge me for them. Everything went very smoothly. After the sale, I received follow up calls on how everything was going. I also received a call from the service manager offering a free initial oil change, a complete check over and wash job. I am not a young man and have purchased quite a few new cars, and I rate this experience as the best I have ever had. I would recommend this dealer highly and everyone I talked to that had dealt with them told me the same thing.

Terrible Experience!!

by bjferge on 08/20/2011

I'm not sure where not start. I have never had an experience like this in my life. NEVER!! My experience there started out fine. Test driving 2 vehicles, and then choosing one. We start discussing rebate, incentives, trade-in, price we'd pay for the SUV, installed options, and we thought we struck a deal. We laid out the CASH difference, and the sales men went and got the sales manger. He came in, and said they don't take take cash. OKAY??? It was under $10,000. He told us to come back in an hour. They'll have the suv ready. OK, I thought this was kinda weird. No paper work, no money down, no nothing, on a brand new suv. Found out why we didn't get any paper work, and why they didn't take the money. We came back, and the price went up $9000. Talk about a shocker. They were going to give us $1500 in rebates on a $25,500 2012 Kia Sorento LX. Then in trade $6500 for a 2006 Kia Sorento LX load with 36200 miles in good shape, so we were trading in a nice suv. He explained to us how he came up with the numbers, then I explained to him the number I was give before I left. Needless to say we walked, and we were not happy. We did go to a different dealer, and did get $11,500 for my SUV. Just a side note. The salesman did call me today, and did offer me a better trade in value for my SUV. But it still wasn't fair market value for my SUV, which Kocourek advertises they do. They even sent me a flier on it. Make sure you know the value of your vehicle, if your decide to go there.
