Called this dealership for the first time today to inquire about a car. After I confirmed some things with Jessica Kelly, she gave me a list price $3000 more than advertised ($22000) on sites like aAutotrader and Carfax ($18970). The actual fair market value of the car as of now is $18500. She tried to talk over me, lie to me, and use some kind of crazy alternative facts to justify the inflated price. It’s hard to do business predicated on lies and shady business dealings. She hung up on me. Later, I spoke with Dustin Koplein (Jessica’s handler). He again tried to assert ownership of the conversation, feed me myopic and non sensical excuses, Jedi mind tricks, BS as to why the car is listed so high above fair DEALERSHIP market value. He hung up on me too. Finally, I spoke with Dustin’s sales coach and wingman, Aaron Vrhovnik (General Sales Manager). He was friendly for all of 20 seconds before he started in on their alternate reality live market pricing that tells them a vehicle is worth nearly 20% more than the fair market values calculated everywhere else including True Car, Autotrader, or Kelly Blue Book to name a few. He insisted he was trying to help while he perpetuated the lies of the first two salespersons I had previously struck out with. I made it very clear that I wanted to buy this specific car and no others. I wanted a fair price, straight dealing, honesty, and integrity. I received nothing of the sort. When you have a customer willing to make a high dollar monetary transaction, it’s unwise to lead with BS and then try to own the lie to save face. I hung up on him. This was the most painful attempt at buying a car in my lifetime. These wonderful folks saw fit to waste my time, lie, cheat, and steal. You can do with this what you like but I speak the truth.
