Big waste of money, but it could’ve been worse.

Arrived with a check engine light and multiple error lights. They changed the oil and reset the errors. They said if the oil change didn’t correct the problem I’d need to pay over $1500 to have the engine torn down. I took it to another mechanic who found the problem was in the transmission. They fixed the transmission and everything is fine now. If I’d followed the dealership’s advice I would’ve wasted a lot of money on unnecessary work and still had the problem.

Buying a Subaru from River City was pretty easy and a positive experience. After our Honda CRV was totaled we did some research and decided to look into buying a Subaru. Due to supply chain problems it was hard to find what we wanted but River City Subaru was fortunate enough to have a car in the pipeline we wanted. The salesperson, Alex, was very helpful and courteous and the finance people and everyone else were very easy to work with.

I had a couple of recalls on my 2015 Subaru Forrester but the closest dealership is 2 hours from where I live. I was going to visit my son and called Riverside Subaru. They were very nice on the phone and made an appointment for me. When I arrived for my appointment, everyone at the dealership was so nice and professional and completed my service ahead of time since I was waiting for it. Very pleased with this dealership!!!

Pleasant car buying experience

We had a great salesman (Alex Ly). He was very friendly and worked with us to get the correct vehicle. He is very knowledgeable about Subarus and explained many things about the Outback on our test drive. Very relaxed atmosphere at the dealership and everyone was very friendly and courteous. Have not had to use the service department but I think I will have the same experience with them. Would definitely recommend this dealership and salesman.
