Great place to buy cars

by Anabella on 01/26/2024

This is a great place to buy cars. There is a large variety of vehicles and good deals on prices. Gary Van Auken was especially helpful. His responded quickly to our questions and provided detailed answers. Very professional and knowledgeable person. Gary made car searching and buying processes easy and enjoyable. He really takes a good care of customers and cares about their satisfaction. He worked late when needed to make sure that he answered all requests and helped customers fully. I highly recommend this dealership to others.

Austin Sherbon and Patrick in financing made buying a truck the most awesome experience. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a vehicle. We got what we wanted all the way around.

Dont trust them

by Chris on 09/06/2022

Don't trust them. Read every step of your contract, before you sign. I fell for the "we are just a big family here, and we want you to be a part of it" speech. I tried contacting them after the sale, they would not help. All they would do, is show me the paperwork I signed.

No service whatsoever! Are negative stars an option?

by Mark on 12/18/2021

9/13/21 11:30 AM. I brought my Camaro in for an oil change and to report an issue with a panel not closing on the driver's side when the convertible top is put down. I received the car back after the problem was diagnosed and told that the part needed to be ordered and would take a week or two. I was supposed to get a call when the part was received to schedule the install. 10/19/21 1:26 PM I called to find out status of the parts order. I was told that the parts dept was busy but I would receive a call back. I did not receive any call back. 10/21/21 1:53 PM I called back and the parts department confirmed that the part is in stock and ready for install. Scheduled appointment for 10/26/21 at 1:30 PM 10/26/21 7:31 AM I received a voicemail from Carl confirming again that the part is in and ready for install today at 1:30 PM but not covered by extended warranty. 10/26/21 1:30 PM. I brought the car in for service and after waiting for nearly two hours I was told that the part is not in stock and needs to be ordered. I told them just order the part and when it is in I will pick it up and install it myself. 10/30/21 6:09 PM Carl called wondering why the work order was still open. Ummm.... perhaps your employees should make notes in your computer system about screwing up and not ordering the parts you say you are ordering or supposedly have in stock when you do not have them in stock! It is now 12/17/21 and I'm still waiting for a call about the part they supposedly ordered. No service whatsoever from Gamblin. I'll never return, not even if they're giving away free cars.

Sorry, your problem now!

by Kaden A on 07/31/2020

I purchased my vehicle about a week ago. My sales rep was Rick K, and he was amazing and very easy to work with. I had absolutely no problems with him. If you must buy here, definitely ask for Rick K! He is a good, honest man. The dealership itself however, I do not recommend, and would advise buying at any other dealer. They were very stingy and not willing to work with me on standard things. I had asked for several standard repairs and did not negotiate the price on my new vehicle. It is a 2020 pre-owned Silverado that had some issues, missing floor mats, low fluids, low filter life, scratches and dents, etc. They refused to properly fix any of these issues because I negotiated an extra $250 out of my trade in vehicle, even though it is now posted for almost $6,000 more than offered during trade in. The only thing they did replace were the rotors since they were extremely warped. The service center employees were very nice when we had them replaced. Any of these other things would have been taken care of at any other dealership. For a used 2020 IN 2020 to have been sold with these problems after an apparent 150 point inspection is extremely disappointing! I had much higher hopes for Gamblin Motors, but was very let down with the overall experience. I have purchased a few vehicles in the past and this has been my worst experience. I do not plan to return for repairs, purchases, or recalls, and will find a new dealer in the future.

I expect more

by Disgusted on 10/17/2018

I took an issue to the main service department that was caused by the carelessness of their quick lube technicians to be resolved (they damaged the bulb socket for you fog lamp, which caused the socket to melt the back of the fog lamp leaving a large hole where the bulb should be)- I showed the employee the damage and told him the ENTIRE assembly needed to be replaced. This was on a Wednesday; I scheduled it to be repaired that Friday, at which point he said they would also address the open recall item. I drop my truck off Friday morning and return to pick it up that evening and was informed they ordered the fog lamp assembly and it would arrive in two days, which means I had to be without my vehicle AGAIN because they couldn’t think far enough ahead on Wednesday to order it that day so EVERYTHING could be handled in one visit. So I had to be inconvenienced twice for an issue that should have been resolved In one visit. And no, I was not offered a loaner vehicle. The icing on the cake is that they refused to admit fault in causing the damage to the fog lamp in the first place so that they could file it under a claim under my warranty instead. The employees in both the quick lube and main service department also try to sell women on services that are not necessary and assume females know nothing about cars. They insisted I needed my transfer case fluid and rear differential fluids changed when I have very low miles on my truck and brought me in a dirty cabin filter that wasn’t even the right size for my truck telling me the cabin filter needed to be replaced.

bought used truck, but no mechanics report

by doug0125 on 11/14/2017

all they would say they did was a 16 point check up. Wouldn't tell me what was found or done. Right away I noticed window switches not working, and 2 weeks later I had to pay $620 for spark plugs, wires and injection cleaning

Bad deals bad vehicles

by nateanderson86 on 07/09/2015

We have bought 2 rigs from here the first was a 2007 cadillac escalade, the truck needed some things fixed and we negotiated the repairs in the sale deal and thought it would be handled being small town dealer reputation to maintain, but that was not the case, after numerous attempts to get the repairs done I ended up emailing the owner personally and he did then take care of the problems. ....not but a couple months later the wiring harness caught on fire and trapped my pregnant wife in the vehicle, we had that repaired via insurance and the people at gamblin said they would make good on it when we wanted to trade it in to come back, so now a year later we went back over our better judgement and bought a 2007 silverado 2500hd duramax and they did give us a good trade value as they said and then low and behold within 2 weeks the truck died and left me stranded in a parking lot, they told me to tow it to them to look at and they would "work with me" on the repairs, I understand I bought a vehicle with no warranty but it should have at least made it a week, come to find out the fuel filter plugged up, I had it replaced and it drove fine....until 2 weeks later it died again, again fuel filter plugged up and the filter head now had a leak, $250 later and I'm back on the road, and boom a month later plugged up again, I had the filter analyzed this time to find out the truck has sediment and algae in the tank and needed cleaned and the pump is below pressure and will need replaced at almost $2000. So pretty much 2 bad eggs same place, i don't even feel like they inspect their trade in just throw them on the lot. And I know for a fact they don't change the oil yet put a sticker that it was freshly changed with a date and mileage to return. Pretty much if you want a vehicle to last 1 month buy one from here.....

They are [non-permissible content removed]

by KayleeP1080 on 07/01/2015

My husband and I got approved for a 2003 white dodge 2500 long box with the VIN #3D7KU28C03G830782. On Thursday June 25,2015 we drove all the way out there from Boise, Idaho (8 1/2 hours)and were assured that the truck had full diagnostics run on it at their local Dodge dealership. We were also told the truck had the gauge cluster and the fuel transfer pump in the fuel tank replaced, due to the gauge cluster intermittently not working and the engine had an extended crank time. My husband is an established diesel mechanic and obviously knows what to look for so when we got there and he TRIED to start the truck and it had a very extended crank time, approximately 7-10 seconds, he wanted to know why. With the engine running at idle the check engine light would come on and all of the gauges would stop working intermittently (2-5 seconds) the ABS and brake light were on even with the parking break released. The ABS and brake lights would turn off when the truck started rolling, the truck ran and drove decent but we wanted to know why the so called problems that were "fixed" were still not working. My husband asked for a code scanner to see if the truck would throw any codes and it did, so from there we went to the dodge dealership who plugged into it with their scanner and found that there was a "short to ground to the ECM". At this point all of their diesel mechanics had left for the day and we were left with the choice of taking a truck home that possibly needed upwards of $8,000 worth of repairs or staying until the next day to hopefully have someone look at it. I just want to remind you that ALL OF THIS was supposed to done already, we were told that the truck had FULL DIAGNOSTICS run and any and all running issues were fixed PRIOR to our commitment and drive over to Washington. SO WE PAID to stay the night in a hotel and decided to have the truck taken to The Power Shop to get a second opinion the following morning and actually have the FULL DIAGNOSTIC run to find out why this truck is throwing codes. On Friday morning June 26, 2015 we found out the truck has a bad CP3 High Pressure Fuel Pump, injectors, and a short to ground in the ECM (probably for the gauge cluster) and they were quoted from The Power Shop $4,000 to fix it and I'm assuming that was just an estimate and it would most likely end up being more. At this point in time we were still interested in the truck and offered to still buy it if they took the $4,000 off the $21,000 sale price because they didn't want to pay to have it fixed. They told us NO because they are already losing too much money on the truck and they would rather take their chances at auction. They also told us to "watch out for it" because it will most likely end up in Spokane. Long story short my husband and I are still are in the market for a truck and we happened to notice that this truck has STILL not been taken off line, the price is STILL the same, the PROBLEMS have still NOT been fixed, and they went from two pictures of the truck to ADDING approximately 22 more pictures of the truck, I have called and they are still trying to sell it. Just a heads up they may not have wanted to sell us a "bad" truck but they're clearly willing to sell YOU one. They are [non-permissible content removed] and should be held responsible for trying to sell you an overpriced truck that needs thousands of dollars worth of work.

I'd even recommend them to my Mama!!!

by Sandycamaro on 06/14/2015

Salesman Dale Dunks and Finance Dude Tom are the best. Honest, fair, respectful and personable. Characteristics that are hard to find in a lot of car salesman. Their prices are fair and competitive and they'll make sure you get the best deal possible. I can only speak of Dale and Tom, but if the rest of the employees at Gamblins are anything like these two - the dealership is an A-One dealer. And if you don't live near Enumclaw - do yourself a favor and make the drive. Its a decision you won't regret it. Thanks Dale and Tom......you're the best!

Best car buying experience ever!

by KristiT on 12/26/2013

Scott L. is the salesman you want to deal with when you are looking to buy a car! He went above and beyond to not only find the exact car we wanted, but to make sure we were completely satisfied with the purchase. There is no high pressure, and it was super easy to negotiate a price we were happy with! And his job didn't end when we signed the papers either, he followed up to make sure we were completely happy and well taken care of when we needed to use the service department. I would highly recommend seeing Scott the next time you are in the market for a car, you won't be disappointed!
