All-in-all, a good experience.

I didn't have the negative experience that some of the other reviewers on this site had. That being said, buying a new car, with all of the small print and fast-talking, is never going to be an enjoyable experience for me. I went in with the Honda Lease advertised on their website on a 2013 Civic. My read of the lease, I thought, was pretty thorough. I didn't expect any surprises and for the most part, I didn't get any. Our sales person, Erica E., was engaging and friendly, without being pushy. The sales manager, Eugene, was a bit more brusk, but not unpleasant and, refreshingly, a cut-to-the-bottom line guy. I explained my understanding of the advertised deal,(acknowledged the tax, tag and dealer processing fees) and told him that I wanted to see it all itemized (anyone who's ever done this before, knows dealerships don't like to itemize the fees). To my surprise, instead of a fast-talking excuse, Eugene put an 'X' through the taxes, tag AND fees and sold the car with 0 down and just the monthly payments advertised in the lease. Not sure what this saved me overall, but if nothing else it saved me time and the anxiety that I might 'miss' something. After the deal was done, Erica stepped in again and went over all the features of the car with my daughter and prepped the car. Later we went into the business managers office to sign all the paperwork. I had a little trepidation here, since I thought there might be some document pushed across the table that would undermine my understanding of the deal. Nothing of the sort happened and in five minutes we were out the door, keys in hand. All-in-all, a good experience.
