Great buying experience at West Broad Hyundai

Our sales counselor selected the perfect car with just the right features for us to test drive based on an e-mail conversation prior to us arriving at the dealership. The Finance Manager worked with us to ensure we got the best rates and stayed within our budget. Everyone we worked with was knowledgeable and courteous and delivered exceptional customer service throughout the buying experience. Great job to the West Broad Hyundai team!

Our Salesman Bill was patient with us, showed us a few different Elantra's for my daughter, and then gave us a great opening price. When we came back with a lower offer from a dealer that was much further away, he matched it right away and we signed the papers.

Dont do it

Working with these people was a joke. They promised things about the car only to try and slide it by at closing, NOT. Oh yeah, did I mention that they said they would have everything ready to sign and go pretty much, took them over 2 1/2 hrs to close. Ridiculous. I will not be going there again. They also convinced me (dumb ass) to purchase the Armor care. After reviews on that and its service and results, not going to let them touch my car. Just over all a non pleasant experience.

Lies and Agent Switching

Be wary of this dealership. Worked an guaranteed "Out the Door" price, set an appointment to view the car w/a promise the car be delivered in time. Luckily my wife called just before we left to ensure the car was there. We almost drove 120 miles for nothing. The OTD price was BS. "The agent is new and does not know all the pricing details." The appointment was pushed twice even before we left because the "car would not be here by then." And then we find out that the car has not even been secured and they have no idea when they can get it. They now want a $200 deposit, that was waived days before. They cannot provide a VIN to ensure that they even have the right specs. (No car secured, so duh!) Now a manager is helping us because we refuse to work with the third agent that was promising us all the above. But forget it, we are going with another dealer that has the car on the lot, but costs $1500, more because the hassle it not worth it anymore. I would highly recommend avoiding this dealership and I will be reporting this whole fiasco to the Better Business Bureau.

Pleasant Experience

The quote we received was competitive with dealers in Fredericksburg and Fairfax. Unlike other dealers, the salesperson treated us with respect, did not pressure us, and took time to explain the main features of the car. Also, they were willing to stay open an extra hour on Christmas eve to help us. Fantastic staff!

I'll never go back ...

I purchased a 2006 Hyundai Tucson from this dealership. Quote online was comparable to other dealers but nothing spectacular. Took longer to get the car from another dealer, sales person was not very professional (always had on dirty clothes!), and managers for this location as well as the owner of all of the dealerships (Page Auto Group) have left me extremely dissatisfied. After problems with sales department had equally if not worse problems with service department. Can't think of one time I left this dealership happy. I found a better local dealer (Pearson) which I now take my vehicle to for service.

Great Sales Experience

I bought a Sonata SE 2.0L Turbo from W. Broad Hyundai about 3 weeks ago. I did a lot of research before buying and got online price quotes from about 5 Hyundai dealers. W. Broad Hyundai has been servicing my 2006 Sonata for the past 3 years and have done a great job in their service department, so I wanted to make the purchase work with them. I did however get a lower price quote from 3 other dealers. I showed my salesman the other offers and told him I really wanted to buy from them because of my service experience. He brought the sales manager to meet me and we talked for about 5 minutes before he agreed to match the other dealers price. That was it! Simple, easy, and a great deal on a new 2011 SE Turbo Sonata. Clyde was very easy to work with and took about an hour to detail my car for me before delivering it for final drive off. While we were waiting, he went over the car features, warranty, and everything you would ever want to know about the Sonata. Very knowledgable salesman, and awesome to work with. I would definitely buy another car from them again and would recommend them to anyone else.

Excellent purchasing adventure

The online quote I received on a new Sonata from this dealer was so much lower than the price I was given in person by another local dealer that I went straight to the dealership that same day and purchased the car. There were no surprises except that they voluntarily charged me less than originally quoted due to some mix up on their part. There was absolutely no need to haggle. The internet salesman I dealt with was terrific and even delivered the car to my home the next day. I have not dealt with their service dept, so cannot comment on service which did not get high marks by other reviewers.

A very pleasant car buying experience. What a surprise.

Easy shopping on-line, email, and phone. Best price I found. Accepted my 1st offer, no haggling or complaining Very friendly salesman. No bait and switch, no high pressure. No hidden fees. No rush. I have bought several new cars. I highly recommend this car dealer. (I never thought I would say that!)

Feel Really Stupid

I bought a 2003 Sonata for my son that cost $12,000. Now the car is only worth $6,000 and I only bought it 11 months ago. We paid way too much for the car. Not only that but they would not honor the extended warranty we bought (for another $2,000) and when my son went back this year to see about a trade in they didn't even want the car. I feel incredibly stupid that I trusted the sales person and the management.

Very Helpful Staff

After extensive research and after contacting and visiting numerous dealerships, West Broad Hyundai's staff rose to the top of my list. They were not pushy at all and were very eager to find a way to make the best deal for me. I originally contacted their internet sales person regarding a used vehicle, but the offer on a new vehicle was so attractive, I purchased my first new vehicle. I would definately recommend them to anyone looking for an easy, low pressure buying experience.

The sales professionals at West Broad Hyundai were friendly, personable, and more than willing to work with me to try and find a car which met my specifications. They had a large selection of new cars. Although I was unable to find a used car to fit my needs, I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new Hyundai. My first car was a Hyundai Excel which was both durable and reliable, and the new Hyundai cars are even better!

Purchased a 2007 Santa Fe

After reseaching the Santa Fe and talking to many dealerships, West Broad Hyundai was the best. The sales team and sales manager are very professional, know their products, and a delight to work with. This dealership also has the best customer service. If you are looking to buy a Hyundai definitely try West Broad Hyundai.
