mixed feelings about the service dept

onour first encounter with the service dept was when we had a problem with a brand that Haley doesn't sell. We took the car to several dealers of the mfg and none could find the problem. On a whim my husband took it to Haley. They found and solved the problem. When it came time to buy a new car we decided to go there, we felt confident we could depend on the service dept. I'm not at all happy with the new Fiesta - has no power to climb a hill. The service guy said I need to down-shift. This isn't our first 4 cylinder manual trans. But apparently this is 'normal' for this car. Not the service dept's fault for the way the car is built, but don't try to place the blame on the driver. From the reviews I've been reading this lack of power is typical of the Fiesta.
