the passat desaster

I bought a 2006 Passat diesel in 2006 thinking that the car would last many years and would be trouble free like the diesels are. First one of the glow plugs failed, and they were looking for a replacement. The plugs I have were ceramic and the new ones were steel. They put a stell one in and we drove the car for one day and the car failed. I briught the car back and they said they would fix the problem. When I was waiting fo the manager of service to come talk with me , he came over and said the car was in the body being assessed because the attendant hit a pole in the service bay. I said I want to see my car now. They brought the car back so I could see. The dealership gave me a loaner car and said they would repair the car. A week later ,I called and asked about the car. They said the steel glow plug melted in the cars cylinder and they needed to replace the engine. I could not believe it. Two weeks later I called again as I didn't here from the dealership. The manager said the engine head the recieved was warped, and they were waiting for a replacement. The dealership finally caled and said the car was ready. The car was equiped with same ceramic glow plug that they found somewhere. So if these plugs go bad the car would be useless. VW does not care about the buyer. A total rip off. When we asked to see the owner about getting a new car the gave me a quote that was higher than the internet price and I showed them the quote that I made the day before. Rippppppp offfff!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
