by Eric Hill on 04/30/2025They will sell you a vehicle that is portrayed to be safe with a current VT vehicle safety inspection sticker on the windshield. When you go to take the vehicle to a vehicle safety inspection out of state it may fail like mine did, less… than a week later and within the warranty period listed on the sales agreement. My vehicle failed the tests for the tail lights and parking brake. Upon trying to contact the dealer to try to get these issues fixed under the "Handy Care," service that comes with a vehicle sale through the Handy Auto Group the dealership ignored my emails and phone calls and do not reach back out. The sales agreement did not list this as an "as-is" sale. I feel like I have been wronged.Great Experience
by Eileen on 04/01/2025I worked with salesperson Kaleb, who was great. Prior to visiting Handy's, Kaleb answered my questions about the vehicle I was interested in, via email. When we arranged a visit, Kaleb had the vehicle ready and allowed me to take a test… drive alone. Not only was that very trusting, it allowed me the freedom to decide if it was a vehicle, I was truly interested in. When I returned, Kaleb answered all my questions. The Handy Team was very patient while I worked out my financial plans. They also offered alternative financing options, if my plan did not work. Dennis explained all the extra package programs. He respected my answers and prepared the paperwork. Then he graciously prepared some of the paperwork again when I changed my mind about the electrical/mechanical program! Once financing was procurred, they all went above and beyond preparing my car. They also made sure I was knowledgeable and comfortable about the vehicle I was purchasing. They introduced me to the Service Dept. before I left and made sure I was comfortable with our transaction. I highly recommend Handy Toyota. Eileen MorseWorth the drive.

After a test drive and decision to buy the car I found that if I paid with a check it would've taken 10 days to clear and I would've had to drive back. Instead of that, Chris… helped me find a solution that would involve less waiting and even had a driver drive the car halfway so I could pick it up easily. I found them trustworthy, kind, and extremely accommodating. If they weren't almost two states away I would go back to them for my next car.Excellent Customer Service!

If you’re looking for a new car, make the drive to St. Albans and ask for Ali. He’s knowledgeable, personable, and will work with you to get… a great deal. We won’t shop anywhere else, and there are plenty of car dealerships 10 min from us.
