Disappointed in the lack of communication, late for my appointment

onI called at 7:30 am before I came in and was told to come on in, I did inform the employee that I had a commitment at 9:00. I had my car in the Service area at about 7:45 am. At 8:23 I asked how long the oil change and tire rotation would take and was told "About 30 min." shortly after that I was told that there was a recall that was being taken care of also. At 9:00 I asked how much longer my car would take to finish, and the receptionish called and then told me it was on it's way out. Then I still had to wait 12 minutes. I was late to my appointment so I was a little frustrated. My suggestion is better communication. I was satisfied with my service I just did not want to be late to my appointment.
