Great to work with!

I went to Mike Hale Acura to look at a used Nissan Altima. Christopher Currle showed me the car with respect, openness, and warmth. Things he didn't know about the car, he was open and honest about and tried to get the information. I knew they were experts in Acura so I was not expecting them to answer all my questions. Talking and working with these guys, I knew I would not have any issues and problems buying a car with these guys. I have been car shopping for months and was tired of the white lies and run arounds. I also got tired of being jerked around and lied to by other dealers. During the purchasing process, they were friendly, patient, and respectful. The best part, they were open about their costs and didn't pull any hidden costs after I committed to buy, which I have been burnt when I bought my last car. My car purchasing experience was great and I would recommend my friends and family to shop there. They have been open/honest and patient, I would also ask lots of questions.

Avoid this dealer like the plague

Ordered a new MDX told I would get it in 10 days. Called 6 times over 3 days without anyone calling me back. Found it had never been ordered. Git my deposit back and got the same came considerably cheeper at Jody Wilkinson.

Awesome service department

I took my Honda Civic into Mike Hale Acura because of the way it was driving. Turns out, I had a bad motor mount and needed my timing belt changed. Being a college student I was stressed about the cost of the services, however when I shopped around I realized they were less expensive than the nearby Honda stores. They worked closely with me and let me know what was going on with my car every step of the way. I ended up having them replace my spark plugs as well because I was so please with my experience. OH! And they gave me a car while my civic was being worked on…. Definitely would not have gotten that kind of treatment from a Honda dealership. Very Happy with Mike Hale Acura!!

New MDX

Had to wait for my new MDX due to some manufacture backlogs but man was it worth the wait, it is awesome. Dealership was so great to work with during the waiting and the final deal. Jake, Larry and Mike were great to take care of all my needs and questions. Thanks Guys

Great Experience

I bought a 2008 TL and Jake W. was my salesman. He did a great job in explaining and helping me through the process. I also had a problem after the car was bought and he was there to help me with the process. I felt like I was taken care of and not given the run around that a lot of other dealerships do.

Great Buying Experience!

I purchased an Acura TSX Sports Wagon from Mike Hale Acura and it was a phenominal sales experience. I've lost track of how many cars I've purchased in my life but it's alot (I'm a car nut) and I have to say that this was the best sales experience I've ever had. My salesman, Jake W, worked hard to earn my business and creatively found a way to meet my budget and expectations. He was responsive, followed up and followed through and made it happen. The Business Manager was very nice and didn't try to "up sell" me on various warranties and add ons when I was signing my paperwork which I found refreshing. And the Acura is amazing. The fit and finish is second to none and although I've traditionally purchased a Big Three automobile, after experiencing the quality of an Acura, I may never buy a domestic product again. Again, this was a great experience.

Very impressive salesman and experience

I was very impressed with our salesman, Dan L. I told him my budget and interests and he showed me a great car. I told him I wanted to look around for fun, and found a dealer-preowned TL that I fell in love with. He was concerned that it was over my budget, but worked with me and the credit department to get a super deal (let's hear it for a good credit rating). Dan was extremely helpful and patient in explaining various things about the car. He also answered questions after my purchase. I really felt his concern and dedication. Great experience - great car!

Go elsewhere

My salesman, Jake W, was nice enough, but started 'negotiations' at $2,200 above the price advertised online. Once I pointed this out, he quickly backtracked when there was 'no way' he could go down on price before. I secured my own financing for the vehicle, and requested that they not run any inquiries on my credit report. The next day, I woke up with 9 new inquiries on my report from various auto finance companies, and they have done NOTHING to help remove/reverse these unauthorized credit inquiries. I also traded in my previous Honda, and two weeks later the credit union (also in Utah) hasn't received a payoff check despite me hearing 'the check was mailed four days ago' multiple times. However, they were very quick to cash the check I gave them for the new car. While signing the final paperwork, I overheard two salepeople talking about a customer that just left. They called him a "[non-permissible content removed]" for not knowing the exact mileage on his tradein. The Acura is nice, but I've never had a worse buying experience. I'll definitely go elsewhere when I'm in the market for a new car.

Great Sales Experience

I bought a 2007 Acura MDX from Mike Hale Acura in late 2007 and have loved the vehicle. I was debating between which dealership to choose between but, after speaking with my salesperson and agreeing to come down to the dealership; I felt no pressure and almost welcomed to take my time. The financing took place in the dealership and was quick. Really no complaints as far as the sales side goes on my end they were even understanding with my budget.

Lack of follow through

This was my experience with Acura. Figuring that this was considered a luxury car I expected to be treated different than all the other car dealerships staffed by young kids that don't even know their product. While the Acura sales staff was professional and knew their product I was amazed at their total LACKk of follow through to close the deal. After numerous calls that were never returned I went to a dealership twice the distance to my house and bought the same model that I was trying to buy from here. The other dealer has this issue as well but did at least return one call to close the deal. Is this an Acura sales strategy or are the delaerships so under staffed that they don't have the time to returns calls after the initial visit to the dealership? Simply unprofessional in my opinion!
