Very Disappointed with Sales Experience

onI was looking to purchase a new Ford Focus, and saw the loss leader ad in the newspaper. Like a few of the other comments here, in the fine print there are dealer add-ons that are at a premium cost. These include tinting, undercoat, alarm, pinstripe, nitrogen in the tires, etc. When I ask for a car without the add-ons, my salesman replied they are added to ALL cars because they could not make a profit by selling the car at the advertised price. I could not even buy a car at a non advertised price without the dealer add-ons. I ended up buying at another dealership. I appreciate their honesty about the add-ons, but these are items that I just don't want on my new car. It is a real turn off for me to ever returning there. The salesman was prompt and courteous. I am a consumer and have no ties to any aspect of the automotive industry in any capacity.
