"I'm not going to waste my time"

by OilfieldPumper on 05/31/2017

"I'm not going to waste my time" is what the Sales MANAGER told me when going over the monthly payment options. I was told by the Sales MANAGER that if I found the deal I wanted (Ford X-plan plus Ford rebates which is how the X-plan works) at another dealer, to let him know and he'll go buy all their vehicles. The salesman was very unprofessional, only wanted to show me the higher end trims, kept sighing (in frustration it seemed) when I would ask about different options available, etc... When it came to trading in our vehicles, they put "bottom dollar" at a whole new low. Offered me 3500 for a 2008 Mustang and 1500 for a 2003 Dodge Ram that I was told wasn't worth a penny. If you value your self, do not go to Rogers Ford in Midland. This experience happened in May of 2016 and I have not been back. Btw, I took my two trade-ins to Stanley Ford in Andrews and received 7500 for the Mustang and 6500 for the Ram.

Wont listen to Customer

There were some issues with sales. 1. I told the salesman that i was looking for the Mustang GT Premium. I guess what i was looking for did not matter he would only show me the Rousch Eco-Boost 4 cylinder 2. I asked about the nav system. He decided that it was not what i wanted and told me it would cost $4,000 same issue about the 400A electronics package. On the GT Premium the 400A electronics is a standard package. Online the Nav upgrade was listed at $795 and the 3, I asked for a specific model and color -- He stated there were none available in Texas. Even from other dealerships. I was able to find the model and color i wanted in stock at 5 different dealerships. 4. I showed the salesman a listing from a reputable dealership. I stated that if they could match that price i would refer to buy locally. He did not even try. 5. Your salesman stated that he could order the car. It would take 8 weeks and cost $44,000 Which was $2300 above MSRP It was apparent that he had decided the only car i wanted was one of the Rousch 4 cylinder cars. I guess since you had over 10 in stock that was what i was supposed to buy. I would like them to recognize that some people have more than 2 digits in their IQ. The internet is a wonderful thing, I can shop around and find out what a fair price is for a product. I purchased the car i wanted at another dealership. It was what i wanted and also came with upgraded wheels and Electronics package. By the way..... I bought it $6,000 cheaper than the price they offered and it had more upgrades.

Don`t Take It Or Leave It

by tro_jan on 09/24/2015

I found the vehicle I wanted in their inventory from their website. Had everything completed online so all I had to do was sing the final documents and pick up the vehicle. Well that was far from how it went. The salesman set my pre-filled paperwork aside and gave me more forms to fill out. He took my trade and came back and offered me one half of what Edmund`s calculated as a fair trade price, even though I used the lowest selections of every option. The salesman then became belligerent and argumentative over the whole transaction so I got up and walked out. I have bought 4 vehicles over the years form Rogers Ford but I`ll never go back now.
