David McDavid Honda of Irving

Thanks to ice and crazy drivers, my car was totaled over three months ago. Waiting on my insurance check gave me plenty of time to shop around for my next vehicle and I have spent more time in dealerships lately than I care to recall. I have never purchased a Honda before, but the David McDavid Honda dealership is where I finally made my purchase two days ago. I was so happy with my experience there and I am thrilled with my purchase. Mike sat down with me and really took the time to understand my situation and my priorities for my car. He also understood my price point and what features were not remotely important to me. Rob Tharp, the general manager, also sat down with me during the process and asked me questions which legitimately helped me clarify my top priorities. Color was a HUGE factor for me and these men respected that; other dealerships tried to dismiss it as negotiable or inconsequential. I am a very indecisive person and really wanted to take my time with such a financially significant decision, so I really appreciated that neither Mike nor Rob pressured me. They let me think about it and Mike let me sit in the car again while I came to my decision. Also, Cody was very patient while going over the financial paperwork and explaining my warranty options. The staff as a whole made the process as painless as possible. It is clear they want to take care of their customers and that they believe in their product.
