Positive buying experience

Just purchased a one year old BMW X5 M50i from them. I can be a very difficult customer when I sense the sales person is disingenuous or if they sell too hard. Bob Kessler was a delight to work with, professional and a step of ahead of me. He diffused any concerns before I had a chance to express them. He was very accommodating and respectful. I also took the vehicle to Ken at Fort Worth Auto Garage for a pre-purchase inspection and they provided a very detailed report of concerns which Bob and Autobahn took care off. The pre-inspections was $95 very well spent.

PLEASE Do not do business here. We were interested in a good deal on a Volkswagen, (2017 VW Tiguan Wolfsburg edition in black) and were lured in with claims of it having never been in a collision, working perfectly,etc etc We first spoke to a sales rep (don't remember his name) via text. I told him the car we were interested in and that we would be there around 12pm, he claimed that someone was "Coming to buy that car" at exactly 12PM that day and whoever gets there first gets it, I realize this is a poorly executed sales tactic and come in around 1 pm...when we get there, guess what? Its still available and wasn't in process of being sold. Ok, Ill forgive it, he was just trying to make a sale however, it immediately broke our trust. We decide not to do business with this rep and see someone named Oscar instead. He claims the vehicle had no accidents and everything ran perfectly, we test drove it and the engine stalled a bit, the sunshade did not work,etc We discuss with him and he assure us he "had no idea" and he will "have it fixed before purchase" so we keep talking, checks our credit and gives us a false score, about 70 points lower, as we just checked many avenues prior. Says that with this false low score we MUST put 2k down AND my trade in (which was undervalued as well) Also, REFUSED to give us the credit report? it is ours? Anyway we moved onto discuss warranty and he says he knows nothing about it. What??? we asked several times for info on it and he was hesitant to give any information,almost as if they just wanted their hands free of it and a warranty would tie them to it further. We then leave to continue looking into this, as well as get an inspection. Its a good deal so even with the red flags from these representatives we move forward. We ask for an inspection report (A NEW ONE) and instead are given the old report when they had originally obtained the vehicle. Guess what we see? It was involved in an accident and required about 2k worth of repairs. The carfax said no accidents, the autocheck said no accidents, THEY said no accidents, and here we have it in the report. Also no mention of the concerns we had brought up, so its safe to assume either rhat report was tampered with or it had just happened in the mere month they've had it. I end up calling the manager, Mike, to go over all of this and get verification all of these issues were and will be fixed and wed like to see a NEW inspection. He was hesitant to perform a new inspection and told us the concerns we had about the vehicle will not be fixed. He also asked me if I thought the salesmen were "intentionally lying" to us. I said no on the mere HOPE we could continue this purchase if all issues were corrected, but I lied... I KNOW it was intentional and the fact that he even asked was quite the defense to being caught in it. So, this dealership LIED multiple times to me, this car is faulty and likely a hazard, all of the systems they use to ease the mind of the consumer such as Carfax and autocheck are scams and have holes in their reporting that they will use to their advantage. AND they were going to sell me a car with multiple issues, no new inspection, no trust whatsoever in the company, WITH AN EXTENDED WARRANTY?? Yikes. Just dont do it, run. & whom ever is hiring the reps here, do better. The definition of sleazy sales tactics, the absolute reason people do not trust car salesmen. Just don't.

Great new car buying experience

This is by far the best experience to date on buying a new car. I worked with Chad Barton. He was great. I live in Plano and they are in Ft.Worth. We dealt with one another by phone, email and text. A representative delivered the X5 SUV to the house. Signed the paper at my house. Great follow up. I'm impressed and happy.

Did Not Honor Edumunds Price Promise Agreement

I reviewed a car on Edumunds and received a Price Price Agreement/Certificate. I also received an email from the sales team at the dealership confirming the price Edumunds had quoted in their Pruce Promise Agreement. However when I called the dealership to make an appt to come purchase the vehicle, I was informed that the price Edumunds quoted and they confirmed was an error and they could not honor it. So much for Price Promise and No Hassle. I would look for a dealership that stood by their promises.

Outstanding Service

Chris Stoker provided excellent customer service and took the time to figure out the problem with my vehicle which was the SMG transmission. I was provided a loaner car while my car was being fixed and once I received my car back it ran perfectly without any problems.

Outstanding

Jimmy Featherstone did a great job contacting me about potential car sales on 750 Series. I was out of town and he kept me informed of available vehicles. When I returned, he let me know there were additional incentives and we test drove and purchased the vehicle. It was the easiest purchase I have ever made. Shannon in the Finance are closed our paperwork in less than 5 minutes. Unbelievable! The entire experience was actually pleasant versus dreadful. I would highly recommend Autobahn versus other dealerships in town who try to indicate Autobahn does not have any vehicles in stock. I think other dealers are worried if customers go to Autobahn they wont' come back. They are right!

BMW Service in Fort Worth

Autobahn has never failed, in over 12 years, to take care of me and my car. As a single woman, I must have an above-average trust in my automobile and the people who care for it. I am grateful to the BMW service department at Autobahn for literally protecting me from potential threatening problems when I am on the road. I do not easily trust, but Autobahn has assured me that I am mechanically safe in my BMW.

Best dealership in Texas!

Autobahn Motorcars is the best dealership I have ever dealt with for either service or purchase of a vehicle, which I have done several times with 2 different brands they carry. Autobahn's staff from all levels are as nice, friendly and transparent as anyone can be. I have no desire to take my cars for service anywhere else or buy cars from anyone else as long as I live in Fort Worth.

Rude Salesman

I was looking for price quote for a 2011 BMW 528i. Since their intenet sales manager, Chad, emailed me a few times and seemed nice, I called him today to discuss a car in their inventory. But he is so rude that I can't even talk with him. He refused to quote me price on the car other than MSRP. He told me that if I want to buy that car, I have one chance to offer him a price that he likes. He is too busy to discuss it with me. If he likes my price, I can buy it, otherwise, no. There is only one chance. As result of that call, I bought a 2011 BMW 528i from Moritz this afternoon. Chad is the rudest salesman I have ever seen.
