Dealership Sales Review

5 out of 5 starssales Rating
The WOW Factor
Written by sanderful on 04/21/2016
My quest to obtain a GLA250 started at Mercedes Benz of New Orleans but because we could not negotiate a fair price on the vehicle, my daughter suggested I visit her in Nashville and check out Mercedes Benz of Nashville. I spoke with Mike Francis several times, set up an appointment to visit him at the dealership, and was quite optimistic about meeting him and working a fair deal. When I arrived on time for my visit, Mike was nowhere to be found. To say that I was furious is an understatement. Mike was with another customer and did not have the decency to break away and apologize. I almost walked out of the dealership – what salesman makes and confirms your appointment then fails to even acknowledge you or his mistake? That was the extent of my bad experience. I believe that God did not want me with Mike as a salesman so he gave me a better salesman and gentleman in Ryan Ruffo. For that reason, I am not rating my interaction with Mike. I was introduced to Ryan Ruffo, who had been on the job just 2 months. He said that he would do his best to find a vehicle for me and have a positive outcome for my visit. I was still upset but gave Ryan a chance and WOW, did he deliver. Ryan was never pushy – he was the type of salesman that gave me options along with pros and cons for the 2 vehicle I was considering. I wanted the 2016 GLA but it did not have all of the packages I wanted but the 2015 model, which had just over 100 miles on it, had all the packages that I wanted plus other options that I had not considered. I decided on the 2015 GLA and thought that I would have to jump through hoops on the final price, monthly note and amount I would receive for my trade. NOT…. Ryan brought Cooper Hopkins over and he finalized a deal that I could not pass up. My deal was so unbelievable that I decided to wait til the next day before committing. In the end, I received more money on my trade than New Orleans offered, put no money down on the GLA (a perk of having good credit) and ended up with a note than was $50 less per month than I was paying on the vehicle that I traded. Ryan Ruffo deserves a 5 star rating for stepping in and turning a bad situation into a positive one that was a win-win for both the dealership and customer. Ryan also did something that was exceptional. He put my daughter’s license plate on her CLA250 although she did not purchase the vehicle from him or the dealership. He also positioned her CLA and my GLA beside each other and took pictures of my daughter and I with our vehicles. Lastly, he set up everything in the vehicle for me – Bluetooth, Embrace, etc., and explained how to operate all of the different options. I must add that Finance Manager, Anita Leonard, is another spectacular person that we met at the dealership. Her wit and knowledge are impressive traits. We laughed so much in her office that I felt like I had known her for longer than the limited time we had been there. Anita even assisted my daughter with a purchase for her vehicle and followed up with some issues that I had 2 weeks after finalizing my vehicle paperwork. My experiences with Ryan Ruffo and Anita Leonard AFTER THE SALE confirmed for me that Mercedes Benz of Nashville will stand with their customers before, during and after the sale.
