New vehicle

onWe did our research before going to the dealership and found everything communicated over the phone was held true when we got to the dealership. We knew what we wanted and the deal was established over the phone and not one penny was added when we finalized the deal. I will never buy from any other company. Toyota of Bristol!

New Tacoma
by 05/06/2016
onI felt like I knew everything about my new Tacoma by the time I was driving it out of the showroom. Steve was very helpful as was Jimmy in delivery. They even helped me pair my phone up to my truck before I left. Great experience

Waste of time & energy

onHorrible day spent at your dealership on MLK holiday. The employee from "Toyota of Bristol" dealership talked to me 3 times and asked me to stop-by to pick up the truck. We even talked the numbers on the trade-in. I drove around 450 miles two way only to realize that the truck they had on their website is not available. I specifically said not to waste my time on the phone. But looks they didn't care. They tried to offer some other trucks in the inventory at a much higher price. I had to leave the dealer ship empty handed. Waste of gas, Waste of quality time that I was supposed to spend with my family. Either your dealership needs good and honest employees who can communicate well (or) you need to stop luring long distance customers with fake inventory. Either way, your dealership sucks. Please show some respect to your customers and their time. What a shame !!

Unfair Trade, No Negotiation
by 08/06/2014
onLet me just start by saying the only reason I returned to the Dealership more than once to try and purchase a vehicle here is because it's the closest Toyota Dealership to my house, and that's not helping too much seeing as how I only managed to find one Salesman who was worth talking to, he doesn't even work there anymore, and is the only reason my review is 2 stars and not 1. First attempt at purchasing a vehicle from here lead to a week long email swap session and ended with me being told they didn't have to "deal with me" and that the vehicle was nice enough that they "didn't need me to buy it", needless to say that vehicle was not purchased by me. Next attempt I was offered less than Fair Trade in Blue Book value for my vehicle, less than fair value by $2,000.00 and when I attempted to negotiate the price of their car down the manager tried to tell me that the year old 4Runner with 30,000 miles on it was still worth the same as the brand new one I had just test drove and he didn't want to budge at all, so yet again I left the dealership without purchasing a vehicle. The first test drive I had with said 4Runner was while dealing with a Salesman that answered a lot of questions with "I don't know" and "I'm sure you can find that online", not exactly the responses I was wanting when asking a simple question. I might try to trade here again but the track record is showing me leaving without a Toyota again.

Not interested in dealing. Bait and switch.

onDidn't want to haggle. Had "offer" from Toyota dealership in North Carolina. Asked if they could match or better the offer. They weren't going to consider it. Perhaps worse is that they like to have "$2,000 off" decals on their cars, but their offer price to buy is well over MSRP after you take off that $2,000. If you do your homework and are willing to go out of the region to buy, this place isn't worth your time. They even stoop so low as to lie and say they can't do warranty work on a Toyota they don't sell. I wonder how Toyota corporate feels about them saying that.
