5 ways NOT to run a dealership

Purchased vehicle 07/08/2021 #1-Traded down from a more expensive vehicle with title in hand. *One month later and 4 phone calls to dealership: Still no check for amount owed to me *on each call I was told a follow up call to me would occur with a status update -to be fair I DID get one call- it was 'the checks in the mail' 6 days after that call and still no check It's time to go public!! #2-My specialty tag was to be transferred; Dealership had all necessary documentation to do the transfer. -Guess who got a registered vehicle to a worthless new tag for me (I require handicap tag that I already had from previous vehicle) #3-Told 'First Place' Finish' ceramic paint protection was already completed -EVERY vehicle received it prior to being placed on lot $998 total added to purchase price #4-shown the Car Fax that car has clean history no accidents When my detailer started removing their mess he found the car had a recent paint job on drivers door. The door handle still had tape from the body work! #5 speaking to business manager about this "we can't guarantee a car fax" you need to speak with used car sales manager That's FIVE reasons I won't recommend this dealership or it's management team.

Awesome Experience!

I purchased my first car from Friendship and now I have purchased my 4th car from them. Each time the salesperson was very helpful in finding me the perfect car. 10 out of 10 would do again!

Dishonest Dealership

We found a Hyundai Tucson that we liked on the internet from Friendship Hyundai of Bristol, Tennessee. We live quite a distance from Bristol, so we wanted to know the "out the door" price before we drove the 2 hours up. Salesman Gabe gave us a price over the phone that was finally close to our $25,000 budget and that we could afford. We agreed this was the "out the door" price, so we drove up to pick up the car. We were signing the papers and I asked him specifically about a price that was higher on a paper I had to sign. He said don't worry about that number as it was the price of the car before the rebate and the Finance Dept. would go over all that with us. We also asked the Finance man, Joshue, about the numbers as we did not see the agreed upon price, He said it was right and it was just difficult to see because of the rebates. As it turns out, we were charged about $950 more than the agreed upon price. We called the next morning after seeing the price difference, but Gabe nor the dealership would not help correct the problem. They said they did not include taxes and fees in the "out the door" price. So, be careful with this place on the bottom line. We honestly thought for a minute they were honest people the day we bought our car. They are just like any other car salesmen. Slick and sneaky.
