Expensive undependable SUV, multiple leaks
Written by 02/08/2016
onCar was repaired for oil leak in December. Warranty had expired in October. 28K miles. Dealer provided warranty coverage by exception. Leak stopped for 60 days. Leak started again. Turbocharger is leaking and needs replaced. Dealer to cover 95% of over $5500 cost. Process will take 4 or more days. No loaner offered. Not exactly what you would expect for a luxury premium branded car. I bought what I thought was peace of mind. It was a mistake. Caveat emptor. Let the buyer beware. Cost per mile of ownership if traded, over $1. Cost of keeping it, worry. Tough choices.
