$1,100 made it 10 miles

Took my wife's car to Big O Dodge to be serviced. It would not start when you pushed the start button. They had it a little over 3 weeks. Changed the battery, and fixed a ground. Got it to crank. One of them drove it home to test it. But the next morning it wouldn't start again. So he had it towed back to the shop. Up until this point as a Google Local Guide. I was ready to leave one of the best reviews they had ever had written. But this is when it changed. Well they ordered a new key fob. They called me today, and said it was fixed. But I can only guess that this time. They got it to work just long enough to get some money out of us without actually driving it around. Because my wife, and I picked it up. We made it to the gas station, and it wouldn't start again. Right back to the original problem that I paid them $1,100 to fix. Because when they said it was fixed I trusted them. Won't make that Big O mistake twice. Called the service department, and after I told them I just paid them $1,100 and only made it to the gas station. He told me that if it wasn't under warranty all I could do was have it towed back to them. He didn't say "I'm sorry sir" , or "we'll take care of having it towed for you." I gave you $1,100 and didn't make it but 10 miles down the street. I shouldn't be having to worry about this after spending that kind of money. But I'll just have it towed to Mckinney. The whole reason I took it to Big O Dodge was because I was told I could trust them to take care of me. Well they killed that trust. I'll never take another car back. I already spoke to all of my family, and friends that have their cars serviced there as well. All 27 of them are going to Mckinney from now on as well. I also work at one of the biggest manufacturing plants in the entire state, and I can't wait to tell every single person there either. I think I'm going to talk to one of my buddies that works at WYFF about this as well. This is ridiculous. Left Jake Odom a voicemail as well. So before I pursue anything I'm waiting on his response, and his response may even change my review. But I can't wait on a response until tomorrow and spend the night at the gas station. So if I have to pay for towing on top of $1,100 for them not to fix it. It's going to Mckinney.

The folks at Big "O" in Greenville, SC deliver a great deal and are family owned. They worked to get the Jeep Overland that I desired. Brian is one of many excellent sales staff who made it happen. It was a pleasure to purchase a new car from this dealership. I consider them real friends and extremely fortunate to have chosen their dealership when looking for my new Jeep.

Great inventory, good online pricing, but acted like they didn't care

Not long ago I tried to purchase a car from Big O--specifically, I wanted to order one as they didn;t have what I wanted on the lot. After talking to three different salesmen who all directed me to someone else, I talked to a manager (I think) who acted like he had better things to do than talk to me about buying a car. I understand they would rather sell units on the lot, but still... Anyhow, he took my name and number and said he would call. Never heard from them, Called back, he was busy and would call back. Never heard from them. So, I ordered from another dealer. I have had good experiences with their parts and service departments, so I would recommend them.

Amazing People

I have now purchased two vehicles from this dealership. Their sales staff is very friendly, but more importantly, the management team patiently worked different numbers with me til we reached a monthly payment I was comfortable with. They have something called Big O Advantage Guarantees which assurred me I was getting the best price in the area and I received coupons and discounts for future service. Also I get their loyalty guarantee which means when I am ready to trade my car back in, they promise me loyalty cash towards my next purchase. A lot of dealers seem to be the same, but the management at Big O made things easy for me and I didn't feel pressured or rushed. The guy who is on TV (the owner) came and shook my hand- so my children were excited about that. Nice to know promises made are promises kept. Very honest family!

Kind but . . .

I took my vehicle in to have some troubleshooting one. Everyone I spoke to was very kind and mostly helpful. However, they damaged the leather on the drivers seat (not a small one but 1 1/2" one way and about 3" the other way) and then when I took it back to show them they claimed it was that way when they got it! I understand people probably try to take advantage of them, but this is really disappointing that I have to shell out $100+ to get this fixed and they didn't even fix the problem I took in in for.
