Excellent experience, excellent product

We were shopping to replace a 13 year old vehicle. Consideration was given to several makes of vehicles, and while most of them were comparable, the Honda CR-V beat them all in ride, equipment, workmanship, and price-out-the-door. Additionally, our sales person was wonderful. She was completely knowledgeable about the vehicle and - this is the biggie - answered direct questions with honest and direct answers, unlike other dealerships where we were danced around with pressure, confusing alternatives, and no real answer about the actual price-out-the-door. Our Saccucci salesperson gave us all the info and details we wanted and needed in a very honest and straightforward manner. This made it easy to see whether or not we could afford the vehicle, and her willingness to work with us in a cooperative way made the sale.

Greatest Car Buying Experience of My Life

Earlier this year, I was looking to buy a very specific type of car - a Honda Accord V-6 Coupe with a 6-Speed Manual Transmission and a luxury package. Saccucci had one of approximately 12 within 200 miles of my home in Connecticut. What commenced was the most professional, impressive car buying and post-purchase service followup experience of my life. I dealt with David Fontaine in sales. A consummate professional. I looked at three other cars in the area and selected this one. It was here that Saccucci went into action. I had a delay in getting my auto loan through from my own sources - and they quickly got me a great loan with one of their banking relationships. David followed up to make sure I had gotten a manual - the car was several years old. Another box checked. Finally, Mike Myers, the Sales Manager, took care of an issue with the car that, truthfully, Saccucci didn't have to do according to the "rules" of my purchase. these people were totally professional - totally classy. Next time I have a car buying need, I will check with them first. I couldn't be more impressed with them or their entire operation. Thanks!!!!!

Can not highly recommend this dealership enough. Living in Northern Rhode Island this may seem like a little bit of ride but the service provided by this dealership is exceptional! Can not recommend Dave enough for his professionalism, knowledge and going above and beyond throughout the entire process. Love my new car and can't wait to renew my lease with them in the future!

As expected, Saccucci was an absolute pleasure to work with. This was our second Honda purchase in 2017 using David Fontaine and he was great. No pressure, no pushy sales gimmicks, nor feeling hostage to a sales process similar to other car dealers. I have owned various makes of vehicles and Saccucci sets them apart from the rest. They make purchasing a Honda pleasurable!

Best Car Buying Experience Ever

I went into he dealership knowing about what I wanted to pay for the car, Honda CRV, Ex and what extras I wanted. I was able to buy a car off the lot that had everything that I wanted and more. Pat Mclaughlin was awesome. When I left the dealership, my registration, my financing (with my institution), and my transfered insurance was all set. There was nothing left for me to do except drive out with my beautiful car. I also what to give a shout out to Barbara Azcevedo, Saccucci's online person. She contacted me a year ago when I started looking. I wasn't ready to buy at that time, but Barbara respected my boundaries and stayed in touch with me periodically to make me aware of promotions and to see if I was ready to buy. Best car buying experience ever.

Best experience I have ever had at a dealership/collision center. Tom in the collision center truly wants the best experience for his customers and that is what he got with me. Work was done in a timely manner and helped out tremendously with the insurance company and rental

Great experience

We have dealt with this dealership since we first bought a used Odyssey from them in 2000. Between then and yesterday we had experience mainly with the service department, which, while expensive, has always been very helpful. They've done a great job taking care of that van, its replacement (a used 2005 Odyssey also purchased at Saccucci), and a used 2009 Civic we'd bought elsewhere with a much less satisfactory experience. Yesterday we went in to inquire about a lease for a Civic with/for our 23 yr old daughter, and we couldn't have been more pleased at how everything was handled. David was straightforward and cheerful, he answered our many questions clearly, and he put us all very much at ease. We left happy, with the perfect Civic and good lease terms. Next time we buy a car, I hope it will be here.

We Love Saccucci!

We just recently purchased a 2017 Honda Accord from Saccucci and we are SO HAPPY with it. We loved Angelo and we would 110% buy another car from him any day! As a young couple, we were finding a lot of dealerships trying to take advantage of us, which we were very unhappy about. We came to Saccucci and had the BEST car buying expirence the both of us have ever had thanks to Angelo and the rest of the Saccucci team!

I have been in the market for new accord for a very long time. I went to dealership after dealership and nothing was compared to the quality standards like the ones I received at Saccucci. The whole experience was amazing from the moment I open the door, it was as if I was part of the Saccucci family. The atmosphere in Saccucci is warm.

Very Poor Car Buying Experience

Other than buying the car we were looking for at a reasonable price, the entire sales and purchase process was by far the worst car buying experience I've ever had. The salespeople were disorganized and clueless. The daisy chain of sales reps, sales manager, finance person and ultimately the closer were straight out of a car buying parody from Saturday Night Live. Though sitting at a desk in plain sight of all of them - none seemed to be remotely aware of the length of time we sat waiting for the next step in the process. There was virtually no teamwork or cohesion between the various members of the sales process. The manager was oblivious to our growing frustration with the wait. The finance woman told us flat out that AAA was lying (her words) about the rate they could offer me on a competing car loan (they weren't). By the time we were finally done we left feeling as though the whole thing was nothing more than a Saturday afternoon inconvenience for them. If they were the last car dealer on the planet I'd think twice before I willingly went back to reengage with them. Other than that - I can't say enough about my car buying experience a Saccuchi Honda.

Saccucci Honda, the way car buying should be!

Let's make this simple and to the point, like the buying experience at Saccucci Honda. I have had the pleasure of dealing with David Fontaine, a Saccucci Sales and Leasing Consultant previously. He's "top notch' ! David is professional, knowledgeable and personable. His experience shows in many ways but specifically his efficient and easy going manner. No games here. You will have an excellent experience. You will get the vehicle you want ( and if you are not sure what you want, talk with David about it) and for a fair price. The entire experience was a pleasure. It's a no pressure, clearly explained transaction. When taking delivery David spent all the time necessary to explain the features of our new CR-V ( really special btw). Do yourself a favor, go to Saccucci. Call David up @ [phone number removed] and make an appointment. If you are in the West Bay, make the trip, its not far. ( I live in Coventry) Its worth it to have a no stress car buying experience. Saccucci gets it done.

bait and switch factory

It appears the next generation Saccucci's will destroy this dealership the same as Barry's children did his Nissan Volvo dealership. This morning I called and spoke to Megan, the internet sales specialist, on an XLE Accord. She discussed pricing with Michael, the owner's son and sales manager. He returned with a firm price of $25,600 on a 2016 Honda Accord XLE - 4 cyl, and a 2015 XLE - 6 cyls. I called various other dealerships, and because Michael's price could not be beaten (except by Herb Chambers) and he was the closest dealership, I made an appointment to meet him in early afternoon. Angelo, who showed me the 2015 and a white 2016; seemed knowledgeable and friendly. It was raining so I only entered the car for a few seconds and noted my sister would enjoy either of them. I, John Harnois, at [email address removed] asked Michael to detail exactly how he developed the price. He obliged. We discussed the other dealerships I called. I mentioned Herb Chambers quoted a price $1150 less than his price. He stated that Herb Chambers quotes a price only to add items such as shipping or includes cash incentives that are withheld if the customer does not fulfill certain items. He implied it's a bait and switch factory that gets you in to either sell you another car or has other practices to deceive a customer into buying a car in such a way that they make money underhandedly like getting a customer to finance with them at a higher rate than they would qualify for and make money on the back end of the deal. We discussed that my sister, for whom I was trying to research information and develop quotes, was also reviewing Toyota Camry. He mentioned that Toyota has confusing levels and various vehicles have added options thrown in that must be paid for, but Honda levels like XLE were uniform. He stated several times that the only issue for my sister was to pick a color, and the price would be honored. I told him my sister would want white like the one showed to me. I continued stressing that I nor she would wanted any surprise costs. He stressed that $25,600 would cover any 2016 Accord XLE. Pick a color was all that was needed to do. I relayed the same info to my sister, who was excited at possibly having an XLE. I relayed the news to my sister, and remained on Aquidneck Island for the afternoon. She would meet me there after 6 PM, so I informed the dealership we would be there about then. I gathered my family and my sister arrived at 6:15 PM at Saccuccis. I asked Angelo to bring the two cars that he showed me earlier that afternoon. My sister chose to drive the white 2016, supposedly the same car from the afternoon. She, my two other siblings and I got in the car, and she drove to my niece's house in Portsmouth to show it to her. She has an Acura. My sister loved the car, and my niece noticed immediately how nice the wood grain looked. She asked me again if the price was 25,600. I assured her that I continued pressing Saccucci staff that the price quote given would be the cost of the car she drove. We returned and sat with Angelo to discuss purchase of the car. I asked Angelo three times if the cost of the car we drove was $25,600 to which he said each time, "Yes absolutely! You were with me when Michael detailed the cost of the car. It's yours for that price." He approached Mike to inform him of our interest to buy the car, but returned saying that there would be an added cost to the car because there was an aftermarket wood package at a cost of $775 (which would add another $40 in taxes). Angelo was as surprised as us, and couldn't understand the complication. My sister was shocked!! As was I. I had taken the entire day and morning and night to confirm this deal. I left no room for confusion or ambiguity. Angelo showed us another car with basic interior, which underwhelmed my sister. First impression was made given a set price. I asked Michael to honor the price. He laughed and refused. I strongly recommend to stay away from this once heralded dealership that is now no better than the worst type of dealership. we received a written quote that was detailed and confirmed by a handshake, but the car presented was not the car quoted and when my sister wanted to buy it per the quote the cost jumped by nearly $1000.

Great Experience buying 2015 CR-V including fair trade-in value

This is the sixth vehicle I have purchased from Saccucci since 1998. We have four family members driving vehicles purchased from Saccucci. I keep coming back because they are knowledgeable, fair and honest. This is a long time family run business and it shows as the family pride is evident throughout the organization. Saccucci beat the best quote I obtained for a 2015 CR-V AWD Touring through a buying service, and provided a very fair trade-in value for our 2003 Accord. There was a low pressure no hassle "negotiation", as they provided a fair price up front. Gayle was our salesperson and continues in the high quality service we had with Buck, who retired last year. We have our cars serviced at Saccucci because they are thorough, convenient and offer reasonable prices.

Purchase of 2011 Honda Ridgeline

In August of 2010 I purchased a new 2011 Ridgeline from Saccucci Honda of Middletown, R.I. I dealt by phone and in person with R.J. Lindsay, the internet sales rep. No high pressure sales tactics nor false promises. This was my first purchase from Saccucci and I highly recommend both the dealership and R.J. I am not yet due for the first service but I anticipate the service department to be as knowledgeable and friendly as the sales department.

Very easy transaction and got the price I want

I learned about the special lease deal in June for Insight. Did some research online, compared Insight against Toyota Prius. At the end of the research, I pretty much knew that I wanted Insight EX. Drove down to Saccucci on Tuesday, walked in, and greeted by sales folks. Very relaxed and low key atmosphere. I brought my 3-year old son with me to the showroom. They have a nice play area with TV, toys, self-service coffee and drinks. I was able to sit down with Audrey and explained my situation. They took some information, in very casual, non-aggressive fashion, while I was attending to my son. I told them that I was a USAA member, and they immediately offer to beat that price without asking for it. They gave me $80 off the USAA price, but I appreciated their immediate attention and the fact that they did not play the game. Everything was straight forward. I told them that I wanted my drive away cost to be $2500; they worked backward from that figure, considering their best sale price. We agreed on the final price, and I walked away hour later. I picked up my Insight EX that Saturday morning with my family, and signed all the papers. Everything was very smooth and easy. They answered all of my questions. I wish all purchasing decisions and transactions were this easy . Thank you Saccucci for making it easy to get the best deal, and still be treated well like a VIP.
