onOn a Tuesday and a Thursday, I had two visits, one for a state inspection, one for a repair. Both visits went well. For the second, I used the shuttle service. Work was done efficiently. The shuttle service was excellent.

Great on the initial poor out the door

onPurchased the vehicle before it’s arrival during the negotiations we had added the spray in bed liner as who has a truck without one ... to only receiving the truck without a spray in bed liner. It now becomes customers word vs dealership/salesman’s it’s marked on the bill of sale under additional items but yet a hassle to prove

Oil change and tire rotation

onIt was more costly than the last time, so I asked why the price increase he said there was a change but seeing I wasn't aware he ended up reducing the price. But this was the second time the mechanic didn't put the sticker on the windshield. The service representative ended up putting once one when I complained. He was easy to deal with.

onBe very cautious!! I purchased a used 2015 GMC Sierra from Hurd in February. In May (only 2200 miles later) I had the first opportunity to use the AC and found it did not work. I immediately brought the vehicle in and was informed that it needed a new condenser and would cost close to $1000 for the job. They sold me a vehicle with a broken air conditioner and refuse to stand behind it! Who uses AC in 30 degree weather! I have purchased from Hurd in the past and considered them to be an excellent dealership however after this experience I warn you, Hurd has changed and cannot be trusted! Take a word of warning and take your business elsewhere!

Hurd Auto Mall Evasive Tactics

onHurd Auto Mall is a dealership that uses deception as a tool to deceive the unsuspecting. Brought my vehicle in to have a diagnostic test performed to determine an after ignition problem. To begin, to plug in to the OBD I and to read the codes are a matter of minutes. After forty-five minutes, I inquired as to what had transpired. Customer service said it would be ready shortly. Nearly thirty minutes later, the 'mechanic' drove the car near the service desk. I asked the 'mechanic' what were the results. He mentioned the carburetor as needing repair. As I entered my vehicle, I noticed the (SES) 'Service Engine Soon Light' activated (being lit). I brought this to his attention stating that the SES light was not on upon bringing my vehicle in. He said he could not fix that. Moving to the service desk, I spoke with the Service Manager, whom tried to snow me stating, " My carburetor needed rebuilding; specifically mentioning the metering rods. However, we had the carburetor rebuilt by a certified dealership just two months prior. I moved to the cashier and demanded my money back, as the money was quickly credited back to my bank card. Now I had to contend with the (SES) which was the fault of a Hurd mechanic which had limited knowledge. Returned to previous dealership to diagnosis the issue with the (SES) light. The problem was found and the cost was around $175.00. There was nothing wrong with the carburetor as Hurd stated and wrote in the repair estimate. I asked Hurd Auto Mall to be reimbursed for the problem they caused. I had a three way conversation with Chris Hurd, the service adviser, and apparently a woman. When the conversation was complete, Hurd refused to provide the money for the damage they caused, rather offering me coupons for service in the future at Hurd. I refused and started litigation. To sum this up, I won the decision in the lower court, whereas the service manager could not even comprehend a schematic diagram. This decision was appealed by Hurd in Superior Court as I moved to challenge the appeal. After numerous motions, a lengthy amount of filing documents, and paperwork, this came to the floor nearly five years later. Hurd Auto Mall decided to pay the fees rather than to seek a trial. By the way, my vehicle is a show vehicle, being the lead vehicle in the motorcade: Oldsmobile 100th Anniversary Celebration in Lansing, Michigan in 1997. Did Hurd actually believe that they could snow me?

Deliverd a new vehicle that was not fully tested

onHurd Auto Mall delivered my new GMC truck with the back up camera disconnected. They did not fully test the truck prior to delivering it. They just wanted to make the sale and get rid of me. After I discovered the problem, they made me schedule an appointment to get it fixed. I had to wait nearly 2 hours to have the camera connected. Very sloppy in how they handle a new truck delivery and how they handle a dissatisfied customer.

Outstanding Service and Service Team

onAbsolutely outstanding service team. Greeted by several folks a I drove in the service bay. Everyone seemed happy with their tasks. My service advisor,Mike L., was completely knowledgeable about my past service history and, though much of this visit was routine, asked several diagnostice questions about my experience to date with this new 2012 Lacrosse. One special issue an intermittent heating system variability was thoroughly examined, including a complete software check. No problems emerged. The remainder of the service visit was a great expeience. I left completely satisfied by this visit and will monitor the heating system if any further problems occur. This service team is extraordinary and deserves commendation for a great customer focused visit.

onFor my deal the team was outstanding! I presented particular challenges that were met with a smile and a handshake. In the end I am more than pleased with my new truck and pleased with the attentiveness, dedication and efforts of the team I worked with. As a side note, that Debbie in Finance is crazy! Actually an inside joke, she was wonderful.

My service advisor, Bob Machado, took all my information, gave me an estimate for the time involved and the approximate cost. My car was fixed within the time allowed and there were no surprises on my bill. They get five stars from me.

onHave had no luck at other dealers I decided to give Hurd Automall a try. I believe this was one of the best choices I could have made. The people at the service counter were extremely friendly and able to explain to me about all the services that they had performed on my vehicle. My car was ready for pickup exactly when they said it would be. I will without hesitation use this dealer for service again in the future.
