Throttle Body Repair Should have been a recall

The problen with our car was the throttle body. Luckily my husband was driving the night our car developed this problem. All of a sudden the car lost driving power, luckily we just happened to be on a country rocd and not on a major road,(Cincinnati) as our son was in his Ford car a few weeks before this happened to us. In our opinion there should be a major recall for all Ford cars, since it coincidently happened to both of us, within a few weeks.
