TERRIBLE customer service. DO NOT shop here. Had a recent experience with the financing manager and he completely talked down to me. Very, incredibly, unprofessional - especially coming from a manager. He told us we basically wasted their time after we let them know we could not come to an agreement on installment prices. Sometimes deals fall through, but it does not justify an employee to talk down to a customer like that. I do not often write reviews, but this circumstance needs to be known. Do not shop here.

Old School Car Sales Games

When I went to buy my car at Piazza, I had agreed on a price window with their on-line sales manager. I had identified the car and felt good about how things had gone until I drive to the dealership to meet with the on-site sales rep. He didn't have the car pulled around for us to look at and test drive, so we had to wait about 20 minutes for that to happen. Before we left on our test drive, he asked me for the key to my current vehicle since I would be trading that car in to buy this Accord. When we got back from the test drive, I told him I wanted to purchase this vehicle today. He said he would go get the numbers and be right back. It took an hour for him to come back to me, and when he did, the numbers were 10% higher than I had agreed to on-line even after exchanging the VIN and sending pictures of my car to the on-line sales manager. I asked for my key back and said we would be leaving. He asked why, and I explained everything to him. He supposedly went to get my key, but instead returned with his sales manager who gave me a sob story about how the on-line group was new and wasn't authorized to make the deal that they had made and questioned who I talked to in that group. I got mad and told him I had been lied to and I just wanted my key back to go home. He continued to try to talk me up in price until I asked for my key back a third time and told him my next request would go through the police. He left and did come back with my key, but then offered the price I had pre-negotiated with the on-line sales manager. After taking a few minutes to get my anger under control, I agreed to go ahead and buy the vehicle from them. He then dropped it on me that at that price, the Honda financing wouldn't be available, because they had to make some money on the deal and that the sales price we had negotiated wouldn't allow them to make any money. I told him the deal was off. He asked me to fill out a credit verification form and said he would see what he could do. I completed the form, and he came back in 15 minutes and told me I had perfect credit - I already knew that. Based on my perfect credit, he offered me the Honda financing. We did eventually end up leaving with the car we wanted at a price we thought was fair, and the financing Honda was offering, but it was way too much haggling and took way more time than it should have. I feel like this dealership will take advantage of anyone they can and would not recommend them to anyone who didn't really know what they were doing when going to buy a car.

There is no doubt that Nancy J is a professional. Over the years, we have bought a few cars from this Honda dealership. Although the models, styles, and colors may have varied, there was always one constant - Nancy J. In the middle of our transactions, she continually afforded us insight and patience. She ably demonstrated direct information, realistic goals, interpersonal skills and a very positive attitude. We thank her for her guidance and personal attention. She always treated us with respect and a caring attitude. In closing, Nancy distinguishes herself as a person who takes the time to know her customers.

My wife and I had a great experience at Piazza Honda of Reading and came home with a great deal. Our trade in was right on the blue book value. Salesman Abou C. couldn't have been more helpful and patient with us. Unlike other salesman, he left us ask the questions and make the decisions. Great person who wants the best for you. We are very happy with our vehicle and strongly recommend Piazza Honda of Reading.

When I was in the market for a new Honda Accord, I made phone calls and sent emails to 7 local Honda dealerships. The salesman (matt) got back to me quickly and gave me the best deal. When I finally met him, he stayed true to his word and made the purchasing of a new car painless. He treated me well and answered all my questions- I would recommend people to check out this dealership and talk to the sales reps, I believe you will be happy you went here.

Great place for Honda vehicles if you value good treatment

I liked being treated well. They were fast with their quotes and trade-in apprasial. Didn't play games like other dealers do, meaning they didn't hold my keys and instead quickly returned them after taking a look and a test drive in their lot, very quick within 10 mins. The process of negotiation was quick too, first quote was very fast and the follow-up offers and counter offers went fast. I didn't buy the Odyssey (2010 EX) on the first day, but they were quick when I decided to go with them. Their prices were not the lowest, but the way I was treated on the first day made me buy from them. Their finance guy didn't put any pressure at all. They got the vehicle ready and almost prepped for me when I said I will come-in with my trade-in. At first I was sceptical to see the car almost ready, but looking at the gage, it was clear that it wasn't a demo (only 8 miles, I left it at 7 miles after the test drive). The floor mats were still in the trunk, and the sales person assured me that it wasn't fully prepped. During the pre-delivery inspection and test drive, the sales person made sure to explain every feature of the car and made sure I knew everything that I should. My previous two purchases, the sales folks were in a hurry and were more than willing to just get rid of me. Their new car prices are not the best, but were close. I had a slightly better deal (about $100) from an another local competitor.... they were not willing to match that. I did however get a great price (after negotiations) on my trade (slightly better than Edmunds.com's exceptional condition offer). Over all, a great place to purchase your next car if good treatment is of value to you.

Seemed a little shady

The saleperson was actually very nice, a little too "salesy" rather than discussing my options. I started on the internet. I ordered a car, but was delayed and told 3 different delivery days. I have heard of dealerships selling in demand cars at a slightly higher price and delaying those who already have deposits down, but cannot confirm, nor would I make allegation that this is the case. I did, however, cancel order and another Honda dealership has my business. Boy was Piazza mad, thought it a bit rude to be pissed at me, but I was frustrated and got a firm date from another dealer...I also made it clear with my deposit that I could cancel the transaction at any time for any reason. Hey, they had a deposit for almost 2 months, and it seemed like it might be another month or two for the order to arrive...

Buying experience from Piazza Acura\Honda

Very good experience w/ Piazza Acura\Honda. My daughter bought her 2008 TSX in Aug. 2007 and we recently purchased a 2008 Accord in Mar. 2008. The staff (general mgr. Tom, sales mgrs. Gary and Robb, salesman Randy) could not have been nicer in helping us with our purchase. Should you need service, the service department has excellent hours. Brian and Jake in the service dept. are very friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. We will defintely buy from Piazza again. Rick, Chris and Nicole.
