I wish I could give less than one star :(

by Ken Hemphill on 04/14/2023

Concordville Nissan stole my car! After I signed my car over to them, and after they towed it to Concordville Nissan, they have refused to pay me the $1,500 they owe me. Here's the story: My transmission on my Nissan Altima 2013 failed last week and I asked the dealership if they would buy my car back. After the ridiculous offer of $500, I went home and wrote up reviews of the dealership online on google reviews and cars.com and on facebook. That got their attention and someone contacted me right away they agreed to pay $1,500 for the car. That was a Monday. The next day, someone from the dealership came to my house to have me sign over the title to them, and then a tow truck took my Altima to the dealership shortly thereafter. But they didn't pay me. They said they would send a check over the next day. That check never came. This has now become a matter for the PA Attorney General, the Delaware County District Attorney, and the PA State Police. I would steer clear of Concordville Nissan. Not only do they sell cars that fail years before their time; they're [non-permissible content removed] as well.

Rogue lease

by David Hardin on 05/25/2020

Gregg did a fantastic job getting my family a wonderful deal on a new vehicle. He was quick and got us a great price with no hassle or run around. Couldn’t be happier with the experience.

Stay far away

by kiaren2384 on 03/15/2018

Apparently Concordville NISSAN doesn't care much about keeping their customers satisfied, so if you don't want to be taken advantage of, best to stay away. My daughter tried to handle a lease deal for the first time on her own last night and ended up being taken advantage of. After a whirlwind of paperwork and fast talk as things were being finalized, not only was she made to pay a HUGE down-payment fee (which incidentally is kept conveniently hushed up as NON-mandatory), she was later reminded repeatedly how much time the sales staff had taken with her (i.e.been put out) as a guilt tactic to demean her when I tried to get the dealership to rescind the deal. This, not surprisingly, was a futile conversation that turned confrontational and ended rudely by one of the sales staff telling me to have a nice day before he hung up on me. So, choose your dealerships wisely, because Concordville is NOT the place to go if you want to be treated with respect and fairness.

Steer clear from this dealership

by Careviewer87 on 03/08/2016

They will work hard to get a sale and get you into a car. But all the lies and inconsistencies are not worth your time and money. The one mistake i made was not read all the feedback of other customers that experienced the same issues and also rushing into purchasing a car. First after i told them all i wanted to put down, after waiting 2 hours for the papers to be drawn up and to finally sign is where they needed a tax check, so i got them to lower the taxes a little bit. Then second after signing the papers and deal was over i looked online at the other cars in their pre-owned inventory to see that they have charged me way more then the other models same year with less miles and more options in the car. Then third, I was never told the proper procedure with getting the tags for the car. A week before my temp tag was going to expire i reached out to Hank to find out what the deal was, and to my surprise no response, so then i called 2 days before the tags expire to speak with the title clerk, and was informed that i need to take the car to the Delaware DMV to get a VIN check, So after talking with her i asked to speak with someone else, Ryan he just said the same thing that she said, i asked about a tag since apparently my temp tag is going to expire in 2 days and the title and tag work has not been done yet. To make a long story short i talked with Hank, and he told me to come up and he would give me another tag, well i went to the dmv for the vin check and then drove to concordville to give the paperwork that was needed and was get another tag. Well then they can't give me a tag, and i would need to go back to the Delaware DMV on a Wednesday night (now anyone that knows the delaware dmv knows how crazy it is on a Wednesday night) I refused and spoke to someone that told me "Oh don't worry about an expired tag people ride around with expire tags all the time, you have insurance and a license you don't have to be concerned, if you get a ticket we will pay for it" What in the world!!!!!! They do and say whatever they want to get you to sign the paperwork, but don't give a crap about anything else. Good things do not come to people who treat people wrong!

Used vehicle purchase

by jsteel1 on 08/04/2015

I originally had issues regarding a used vehicle purchased at the dealership and difficulties getting the dealership to address the issues. In the end after contacting Mark Harrington, the general manager, the issues were addressed to my satisfaction. I can't say enough how much I appreciated him handling the situation. I hope their middle management and staff will be more receptive and responsive to legitimate issues in the future. I wouldn't say my experience was positive overall, but I would be willing to give them my business in the future based on my dealings with Mr. Harrington.

Nice Experience Purchasing my new Nissan Rouge

by MossBravo on 09/19/2014

On my second visit to Concordville Nissan to test drive the Rouge again I really had no intention of purchasing that day. Kevin W was my sales associate and was so pleasant and helpful. Kevin made the process less anxious for me and I went for it and purchased a new 2015 Rouge. If you feel at all intimidated in purchasing a new or used car, see Kevin as he makes it a pleasant experience.

Quality work and good service

by subiescooter on 06/06/2013

The service manager Gene B personally handled my situation along with Chris and Joyce O and corrected some damage from an accessory install after my car purchase. To make the situation right they replaced my windshield, inspected the vehicle for further damage and reapplied my interior and exterior Xzilon Protection. They gave me a loaner car while the work was being performed and Gene personally delivered the vehicle to me at my home when it was completed. I am very pleased with the quality of the work that was done, and the car looks like it is new again. While I regret the experience and trouble I went through in my original purchase, the dealer has gone above and beyond to correct the situation and make it right, and they have communicated and been very professional and courteous throughout the process. I consider the situation resolved, barring any further incident related to the repairs performed.

Bad customer service

by cbuddyh on 06/06/2013

On Monday my wife, Christie, and I went to Concordville Nissan with the intention of purchasing a Pathfinder. We I got to the dealership close to 6pm while my wife showed up around 7pm. We found a 2010 Pathfinder that Christie loved. Sadly we were not able to make a deal at that time. Ryan E told us that he will sumit the deal to the bank the next day and let us know what he found. At around 1pm on Tuesday Ryan called Christie with a new deal and she agreed to it. She offered to give him a Credit Card deposit over the phone since she was at work and couldn’t get there until 6pm. Ryan told her that there were 2 other people looking at the vehicle. She said she will get there at 6pm and Ryan said he will put her name on it and have the sales rep, Marq T, to get it cleaned and ready for delivery. When Christie pulled into the dealership at 6:01pm she was told that the Pathfinder that she fell in love with was sold. Marq also said that he did not know she was coming in at that night. Ryan acted disappointed and concerned. She looked at other things for about an hour but did not find anything she liked. Ryan promised her that he will work on something and get in touch with her on Wednesday. He mentioned that he will give her the best deal that he could. While we were in the dealership on Monday we considered leasing a new Pathfinder and Christie found one that she was very interested in. Ryan called Christie today with “Great News”. He got her approved for a Pathfinder lease on the one she really liked. I reviewed the payments that she was quoted and called Ryan to get the final details since the lease deal was very similar to the one we did not like on Monday. Ryan told me the MSRP, selling price and invoice price. I was not happy with the selling price so I asked why he couldn’t give us the car for invoice. He told me that he could not do that. When I asked why he told me that he could sell that car for MSRP anytime. I asked “But, how many people did you [non-permissible content removed] off yesterday?” Ryan then in turn got very angry with me and told me that I can purchase a vehicle elsewhere and he didn’t want my business. He then proceeded to hang up on me. In my career I had sold cars before and I now work in customer service. That is no way to treat a customer. I know that selling a vehicle at invoice is not going to kill a dealership and according to their web page they have 40 new Pathfinders on the lot. I also know that with a huge inventory like Concordville has there is a huge overhead and it is beneficial to move vehicles. Also, I was always under the impression that a verbal agreement is good and even binding. We were asking them to hold the car for 5 hours. Not overnight or for a weekend, 5 hours. Ryan mentioned that he called Christie at work at 5:15pm to tell her that the car was sold but in reality Christie received his voice mail this morning at work which was time stamped 5:40pm. At that time she was already making her way to the dealership. I am very upset with the way we were treated and Christie is very disappointed because she fell in love with the Nissan Pathfinder. Luckily, there are other Nissan dealers in the area and other car manufacturers in the area. We will be doing our car shopping elsewhere, the only “great news” I really received from Ryan. Also, I suspect when another dealership hears about the way we were treated at Concordville they will probably bend over backwards to do right by us.

Great Sales Team

by ronzzo1 on 03/30/2013

This is my second purchase at Concordville and both times have been a win-win for me and the dealership. Their sales force is accommodating and willing to seal the deal. I wouldn't hesitate to do business again in the future.

Good Buying Experince

by newbuyer68 on 11/01/2012

Received an excellent price quoted from an Internet inquiry. Visited with the intent to buy in two months. Matt, the salesperson, was so thorough in answering my many questions and making me feel comfortable during the sales process, I purchased an Ultima on the spot. No hard ssell. No pricing tricks.

Mohamed Laraki, Sales Manager

by joeycad1 on 06/28/2011

Hi Moe, I just wanted to let you know that my wife is thrilled with the new Altima. I don't think I'll have to encourage her to drive too often. In fact, I'll probably have to fight her for the keys. Thanks so much for making the deal work out so satisfactorily... as you have done in all of our previous transactions. Three Subarus & now two Altimas from your agency & I still say "you have the best agency in Delco." And I'd like to add that it was a pleasure working with Thad Toole as well. He was very helpful with all aspects from choosing the car to delivery. You guys are the best. Joe

Best Car Buying Experience Ever

by flyfisherman13 on 04/12/2011

I have posted this review on a few other sites and wanted to share it with others on Edmunds. Purchased a 2011 Nissan Murano SL. Our experience with Concordville Nissan was unquestionably the best we have ever had buying a car. Ed (mgr) and his staff are such down to earth, real people, you truly feel like your working with a partner. No pressure sales approach, very honest and informative on features, but were also extremely competive on price versus the other dealers we dealt with. I wish I could somehow prove to others reading this review that we have no relationship with the people at this dealership other than the fact we are now customers. Very satisfied customers. All I can say is talk to them.

Worst sale person of all

by gooddeal2 on 06/18/2010

Well, I like to trade in my cars every 2 years, so, I have been visited many dealers. I need to get a used car for my sister and I found one at Concordville Nissan. I went to look at the car with the sale person, Anthony. I rated his attitude as one of the worst sale person out there. He's even worst than the used car dealer sale person. I got to the dealer and didn't even spent more than 3 minutes looking at the car. He said "If you don't want to buy the car that's fine. You can go else where." I was kind of ignore him because I was thinking that he might have a bad day. However, when I asked him to confirm that since my sister is out of state I don't need to pay the sale tax right away. He started saying that I try to do illegal stuffs. Wake up Mr. Anthony! You need to go there and learn more rules out there.

Excellent Experience!

by missfarha27 on 08/07/2009

I rented a car and drove nearly two hours from the DC area to test drive and hopefully buy a 2008 Altima Coupe. I was unable to find one in my area with the 2.5 engine, all of the bells and whistles, and Nissan Certified. Sure enough, Concordville Nissan had one. So I took a chance and made the drive up there, hoping I would get to drop my rental car off in PA and drive my new car home. Kevin was my sales guy and he is fabulous (highly recommend you work with him if you can). He is a life-long mechanic and was able to explain anything I wanted to know about the car and is extremely knowledgeable about the Nissan product line. He treated me with respect throughout the sale. As a female, shopping ALONE for a car, that was greatly appreciated and easily could have gone in a less-desirable direction. Haggling over the price of a car is never fun, but, that part of the sales process took no more than 30 minutes. There wasn't a lot of back and forth, good cop-bad-cop kind of game-playing. You can see the sales managers because they sit in the showroom, so, you don't feel like there is a lot of screwing around going on behind the scenes, they're all right there in front of you. It gives a different vibe to the sales process overall and I think more dealerships should consider this. Kevin was respectful of my budget, and while his sales manager seemed to want to play hardball, I ended up getting much much closer to my bottom line in the end, which enabled me to spring for the wrap-warranty in addition to the car being certified. I feel like I got an incredible deal and I do not feel like I was taken advantage of in any way. I did not have a trade-in and I had my own financing. Whether or not that makes a difference, I don't know. The finance department was cool enough to tell me that they probably couldn't beat the rate I had with another bank and that they didn't want to pull my credit and add another hit to my report if they didn't have to. I appreciated that. Ely was the finance guy for my sale, he was not pushy about the warranty or other add-ons. He explained them to me and when I wasn't sure, he moved on to another part of the finance process while I thought about it to keep me moving along. My car was detailed and washed during financing, looked great, they gassed it up, explained a few things to me before I drove off. Because I had a rental, I needed to get that back, so one of the service guys drove my car to the rental place while I followed, in crappy traffic, took a good 30 minutes of his time. I feel like they went above and beyond my expectations for a used-car sale. I highly recommend Concordville Nissan. I felt like they play the car sales game fairly and are respectful of women (which in the DC area is hard to find). I would return to buy my next car and I'd send family and friends up there as well.

Consumer Beware

by bizz1441 on 02/04/2008

I bought a car from this dealership and I thought I got a great deal. I only found out later that they didn't calculate the sales tax into the sale. I should have caught this, and I feel stupid for not catching it, but on my bill of sale, they wrote the tax as $300 for a $21,000 car w/o a trade-in. So I got a real suprise when I got a bill from the state for tax I owed. The dealership did nothing to help me either. They told me too bad and they did nothing wrong. I will never go there again. I don;t think I would have bought the car considering I would have been paying an extra $1100 up front. Two other probems were waiting about 5.5 hours for the sale to be completed, and the finance manager also asked me to rate him and the salesman as perfect on my survey.
