I came in for warringty work a big bolt was stuck in my tire. I needed a new tire and they took care of it all proto.Wonderful servicemen place to visit.

AC Suburu

Overall the experience was pleasant but felt that the financing aspect was not as expected. I had a good credit score and was willing to put almost 50% down and still they did not come up with a decent offer. Felt I had no choice in the last minute to take the presented offer. It was a bit disappointing. Sales coordinator was great and did a fantastic job in ensuring all the steps are followed with utmost attention and diligence.

I needed to get a new (or used) car right away. My current car was on it's last legs. The team at Fred Beans provided me with all my options, let me test drive all the cars I wanted/needed to help my decision. They also provided me with all my purchasing options and went through everything I needed to know before making that big decision. Happy to say that at the end of the day I drove off the lot with a brand new vehicle (2018 Crosstrek) and I couldn't be happier

Keep distance if you know a thing or two

Is a half star or no stars possible? Low expectations for just about all stealerships these days but after yesterday I've decided there's absolutely no hope for this one specifically. Brought car for appraisal and when asked if they could see the keys to go out and look at it about 10 minutes later a random, and quite sketchy [non-permissible content removed] guy comes tip toeing behind my back--literary--and out the door. Once I heard the door I turned to see this fellow walking around my car, which I gave specific instructions to the sales person I DIDNT want driven. Before you know it he hops in and proceeds to start it up and drive off the lot... Agian, i gave the sales person specific instructions that I did not want my car driven as it is a performance vehicle, I mean I would've considered it if they atleast talked to me about it;but that never happened, I actually had to ask the sales person if they knew the guy. C'mon y'all, isn't it common sense to atleast ASK someone if you can take their car out, or much less, even start it? I can honestly say I left this place feeling completely belittled, trivialized, and ridiculed. needless to say, but the customer service, atmosphere, and general knowledge of everyone I've dealt with at this branch was very unprofessional and boarderline insulting. STAY AWAY.

Utter Frustration

I purchased a vehicle less than a month ago from Fred Beans Subaru, haven't made the first payment on the vehicle and will be putting close to $1100 in repairs. I was promised small things, like the OEM touchup paint and a simple battery replaced for the fob which didn't work when I bought the vehicle. Nobody ever contacted me to notify me about the paint or battery. I replaced the battery myself, ordered the paint myself and spent $550 fixing the dents, scratches and tears on both bumpers and car. I haven't even owned the vehicle a month and when I start up, am in idle or reverse, the vehicle violently shakes because the engine mounts are worn down. The vehicle was just inspected before I bought it yet this went unseen. I asked if they can take car of this for me as it should've been taken care of before and they said the warranty doesn't cover it and they couldn't replace it for free. The 8 disc cd changer also stopped working recently, so all together, before I have made my first payment on the vehicle, I will have put over $1100 into fixing a vehicle which I put over half of the cars value down. There's poor communication from them and a dismissive nature with how they handle customer service. Empty promises, a lack of willingness to fix things that should've been taken care of before I purchased the car and an all around disconnect from doing the right thing. I paid full value for the car which to be honest should've had at least $550 taken off for the dings dents and tears and the engine issues already within a month. I'm pissed off at the poor nature of this company and WILL NOT BE SERVICING MY CAR WITH THEM.

Great Service Recommend Josh Landau!!

All of the employees at Fred Beans Subaru in Doylestown Pa, seem great. I would especially like to give a huge shout out/ recommendation to Josh Landau! I stopped by last night looking to get a new car, he asked exactly what I was looking for and immediately found everything i wanted. At first it didn't seem possible for me to get the financing that was needed, as I have no credit history, when I heard the news it was absolutely a sinking feeling. Later that evening, literally about an hour later, Josh Landau called my cell phone. He told me he was over at the special financing building doing everything he could to get me into the car that I really liked. After a few hours of going back and forth ( please keep in mind again, I had no credit history, no car to trade in, and no equity to put down) he called me back with great news, he could get me into the car, and right around the payment price I was hoping to get! Josh Landau is a godsend! He spent hours going out of his way for me, also he is truly an enjoyable person to be around. The entire time looking we spent also laughing and sharing stories. It was less of a customer salesman experience as it was hanging out with a friend. An added plus is he also works on cars himself, so he truly knows what he's talking about. I would highly recommend Fred Beans Subaru, but even more so I would recommend Josh Landau to help you no matter what Fred Beans dealership you're at in the Doylestown area!

Poor Quality Used Cars, Terrible Management

Don’t buy your cars from Fred Beans! I bought 3 used cars from Fred Beans Subaru in a period of 3 months. Each one broke down while driving and required multiple repairs. The managers are Fred Beans Subaru will not help you with your concerns, and will not honor their promises or advertised policies. The salesperson and finance manager I worked with made numerous significant mistakes in paperwork that resulted in a denied loan and being shorted thousands of dollars in sale. I’ve been trying to rectify this problem with them for 5 months now. In the meantime, I have a car that doesn’t work. You’re better off going to CarSense.

Car purchase

Wandered into dealership on way to neighboring business. Saw a late model Honda CRV on the lot. It appeared to be in perfect condition with low mileage. Walked into sales area. Joshua Landau took me under his wing, answered all questions, even ones I had not yet thought of. I purchased the car with a great sense of comfort, knowing that Joshua and the dealership would be with me for the life of my ownership. This is a classy, gracious, helpful, and thoughtful operation that characterizes Joshua's approach to car sales. Many thanks for a perfect, generous deal. Jonathan Denny completed the business aspects of the transaction in a friendly and efficient manner, also answering all questions and smoothing with way with very clear explanations. Hassle Free Car Buying

After spending a couple months test driving different cars all over Bucks County I kept coming back to this dealership because of their hassle free approach to my needs. I was completely satisfied and impressed with the entire sales team. I also worked with people at Fred Beans Ford, they were also extremely helpful. The AutoRewards program is awesome,(free state inspections and discounts at local vendors just to name a couple). I can't see myself going anywhere else in the future. They earned a customer for life and I am very difficult to impress. Special Thanks to Keith, Evan, Will and Josh. p.s. I Love my new Subaru :-)

The Right Way To Buy A Car

From the very beginning of when I started thinking about buying a car, I knew I was walking a tightrope between wanting something with great fuel economy and wanting something that would be good in bad weather. Obviously, a newish Subaru was one of the only ways I might get both, but I was totally convinced I wouldn't be able to get appropriate financing because of my credit. After receiving a message about what I was interested in through TrueCar, however, Gail S called me from the Fred Beans Subaru team, and, even after I explained my circumstances and my doubt that they could help, the whole team went hard to work trying to figure out how to get me into a car I really wanted. In the meantime, I went to four other dealerships and test drove about ten cars. I also was receiving constant phone calls and emails from about seven other dealerships. Everyone other than the Fred Beans Subaru team was extremely aggressive, even over the phone, and I felt like a turkey the week before Thanksgiving. It didn’t help things that I was a woman shopping for a car by myself. Luckily, Gail called me late in the day with the news that they had managed to get me approved for a brand new Impreza hatchback, told me exactly what the payment would be, and asked if I would like to come in for a test drive. I couldn’t get there until after Gail had left, but when I arrived she had thoroughly briefed Jon D on the entire course of events, instead of demanding I work according to her schedule, as other dealers had. Like Gail and the finance team, Jon was *amazing.* He was relaxed, extremely patient, and answered all of my questions honestly and thoroughly even when I asked for details on how problems in older-model Subarus had been addressed. He went out of his way to put me at ease. I never felt the slightest bit of pressure, and actually really enjoyed the whole dealership and test-drive experience. To top it all off, the financing department had managed to get me an interest rate that was 1/3 to ¼ of what other dealers had offered, and with a monthly payment that was $100+ less than what I had been offered on a slightly used Kia, and the Subaru had a shorter term! Everyone I met at the dealership was a real person. They made the process totally simple, and stayed late so that I could take the car home that same evening. Jon and the sales manager even helped me figure out how to get insurance that would go into effect immediately (at eight pm on a Friday night), and an hour after “closing,” Jon was setting up the Bluetooth for me in my new car! I am totally confident that I am going to have this Subaru for a long time. However, if anyone in my family or friends circle does need a car, I now know where to send them for a top-notch, customer-oriented, and stress-free car buying experience. My thanks go out to the whole team!

Subaru XV Crosstrek!

After being disappointed with how two other dealerships were handling my new car search, I found myself at Fred Beans Subaru looking to make a deal. This was my first time purchasing a new vehicle on my own, and at Fred Beans Subaru I never once felt like I was being taken advantage of nor spoken down to. Kelsie listened to the experiences that I had at Haldeman and Coleman, and assured me that she (and Fred Beans) would be honest and upfront throughout the entire transaction. After spending two weeks trying to make deals at the other dealerships, I walked in and out of Fred Beans Subaru with an unbeatable deal that very night. I could not be happier with my brand new XV Crosstrek!! I am transitioning from a 2D sports car, and am extremely pleased with the sporty feel of this smaller SUV. I'm high up off the ground, there are no real blind spots, and it's quick and very roomy. Thanks, Kelsie (and Fred Beans Subaru) for making this entire process smooth sailing. Great buying experience with Fred Beans Subaru

I began looking for a nice used car on AutoTrader.com and narrowed down my search to two cars. I drove an hour to a dealership in Allentown to look at a car that I was told by the salesman was there. I get there and the salesman isn't there and neither is the car. The next day that salesman kept texting me to come test drive, although I never asked him to text me. Even though I liked the car I knew I didn't want to do business with that salesman. I went to Fred Beans Subaru to look at my other car choice and was greeted as soon as I walked in. I met with Dan A and looked at a 2011 Camry. I test drove the car and Dan was very personable and knowledgeable. He was not pushy as other salesmen I had met with. Dan gave me a quote with taxes and other fees included so I could make an informed decision. Two days later I came back and told Dan I wanted the Camry. Dan took care of readying the paperwork as I had my financing already in place and it was the easiest car buying experience I have had (it was my fourth car purchase). Some dealers will try to push you to get financing they set up, but Dan didn't try to to keep pushing for that once I told him I wasn't interested. I definitely appreciate Dan's attention to detail, no pressure approach and dedicated assistance in the whole process. If you're looking for a smooth car buying experience, go to Fred Beans Subaru and ask for Dan A.

Great Expereince

Tracy responded much quicker than the other two delaers, I queried. We set a meeting time and she introduced me to Josh, a knowledgeable and honest salesperson. He picked up quickly on the kind of Outback I was looking for. Knowing I was going to look at other cars at other dealers, he gave a good technical description of the benefits of the Outback. Like Tracy, he stayed in touch with me and got me back into the dealership after I looked at cars at two other dealers. When I returned, he was busy with other customers and one of his colleagues showed me the car's features in a friendly and helpful way until Josh was available. Despite the fact that the dealership was closing by the time I decided to buy, the sales manager and general manager stayed to help with the paperwork and Josh gave a solid, unhurried briefing. All in all, a very professional and satisfying experience.

I had the pleasure of working with Josh in purchasing my new 2014 Subaru Forester. My initial contact with Josh was via email in response to me asking for a quote via the Subaru web site. Josh helped me determine what the best vehicle was to suit my needs - my wife and I stopped in on a very busy Saturday afternoon and Josh made himself available for as long as we needed. We did a test drive with the Forester, and Josh was very knowledgeable of the Forester and it's "bells and whistles". The best part was no pressure! Josh was laid back and answered all of our questions. We did not make a purchase decision that Saturday, but we did call Josh late on Saturday evening to set up an appointment for Monday morning. Our meeting with Josh on Monday was very pleasant - we quickly came to an agreement both on the trade in and the price for the new car. Josh exemplifies professionalism and a sincere desire to satisfy his customers - qualities that are getting to be rare these days. On delivery day we met with Josh and he spent all the time we needed going over the features of the vehicle, making sure we understood them. He introduced us around the dealership, took us into the Service area (which was wow! Clean!) and gave us general information on what to expect for service going forward.
