Service - Oil Change

onFred Beans of Doylestown is always pleasant & helpful. The Service Department needs to make sure and follow thru with resetting all things relating to computer. Lights were flashing on my way home becasue they had not reset. Too far to turn back I had to return the next day for Service to fix. Most annoying. Not the first time this has happened. They were accommodating and I did receive a free oil change for the next time given to me by the Service Rep. She was very apologetic . I don't normally go to there for Service but I had a coupon and I needed my oil changed. I find them costly to have work done. The Salesman are great to work with when buying.

onThis is the second time (8 years prior we leased) my husband and I leased a vehicle from Fred Beans of Doylestown. The dealer we had this time, Allen Shwartz, was very helpful. We were able to "negotiate" (no real need for this step because the discounts this Chevy dealership offered were wonderful) a price that was perfect. Allen assisted us through emails and phone calls. He even found the exact, if not better, Traverse we were looking for. This was the easiest lease transaction my husband and I have ever experienced. All we needed to do was come in and sign all necessary documents. Two hours after entering the dealership, we drove away in our new vehicle.

onI love my new car, Chevy Cruze, and the people at Fred Beans Chevrolet of Doylestown were so helpful. I spent multiple days checking out different cars and they helped me compare every little last detail. Any questions I asked they had the answers. Fred Beans employees treated me like family and they did not just try and sell me the most expensive car they could. They sold me what I wanted and what was best for me. One night they even saved till 9:45 pm when they closed at 9:00 pm. I did not return till the following weekend to purchase car and they never hassled me.

onI bought a 2011 Camaro from Fred Beans and had an extremely pleasant experience. We went to a few Chevy dealers before Fred Beans and this was way way way better! Very little "haggling" was done, we basically got what we asked for and then some. When we got there they had a much better selection of cars and our salesman wasn't pushy by any means. We were offered hot dogs and proper sodas when we walked in, Mr. Fred Beans even stopped by to say hello and told us if we needed anything just to let him know. I've been driving for 17 years and in that time I've bought 8 or 9 cars in that time, Fred Beans Chevrolet was the most pleasant experience I've ever had, simply put.

CONTINUOUS NIGHTMARE

onI took my SAAB to the SAAB service station of Fred Beans a few days ago. They informed me that they really had no idea what was wrong with my brand new 07 vehicle that I have owned for no longer than 3 months. As I would drive the car, it would stall out while resting in neutral. Here to find out the control module was not correctly down loaded and the vehicle didnt know how to tell itself that it needed gas. (Does this sound odd to you?) So they reprogrammed my computer and upgraded the soft ware. I also took my vehicle in to service the bumper. When I first purchased the vehicle I did not notice, but the paint on the bumper was not primed correctly so the paint was bumbling. I spoke to the sales representative the first week about this problem and she informed me that she would call me back a week later. I received no follow up and decided to take care of this problem 3 months later. (That was enough time dont you think?) I also took the vehicle in for the brakes squeaking with only 5K miles on them and service (I know, this is getting ridiculous.) They claimed there was no problems with the brakes, there was no problem with the vehicle stalling, stated: the vehicle is operating the way it was designed to. They still reprogrammed the computer to the vehicle, ramped up the RPMs and they said that they were going to paint the bumper. I received a call about 3 days later that my vehicle was ready to be picked up. I then called a few hours later to make sure. I then called on my way to have everything ready since I was in a rush. I arrived, and they were nice, I took my keys and was on my way. I had to stop and get gas, and as I was filling the tank I wanted to look at my bumper. They scraped my paint off and never painted it. I was a little mad that I spoke to them 3 times and they said that my vehicle was ready, but it was not. I was in a rush so I had to drive 10 miles back, drop my car off and grab the rental. The service member was sorry for the mistake and informed me that they would pay for my gas and for the troubles of driving 65 miles out of my way that evening. I returned to pick up my car a few days later and the vehicle was painted, finally something done right. Then I opened my door and saw that there was oil on my front seat and white paint on the panel. I went to their restroom got some soap on a towel and scrubbed. I didnt want to cause anymore trouble and wanted to just go home and forget about their horrible service. The oil marks did not come out! I then left mad, and thought it would be better to calm down. About 10 minutes into my drive I called services to speak to the gentleman that promised me the gas he would pay for. Oddly enough, that day he was switched to the Cadillac service side, and what he said was irrelevant, I was not getting gas. Ok, well that is horrible, but what about the oil in the car? Sorry, that was all I received. I return home that day and went out to dinner with my fiancé. We got in my car and it was spitting outside. I turned on my wipers and nothing but white smudge was smeared all over my windshield. I nearly crashed since I lost vision in my car. I pulled over and had to wipe it clean for about an hour since it was so bad. We got home and I immediately called them and left a message. My fiancé went outside and felt my vehicle and came inside very angry, They didnt take the bumper off when they painted the car, you have over-spray all over the whole car. We took the car to get an estimate on repairing the paint, and it would cost us at least $800. Would you want to go back to this dealership after they just seemed to mess up everything and didnt make you a happy customer? No, so I called them to tell them that I wanted someone else to take care of the vehicle and they told me, No, we wont pay someone else to do something that we can do here!
