Double and triple check the numbers!

onI got an online quote of invoice plus a certain amount. When I got there, the invoice number was $250 too high.
Upon review, they had included an advertising group fee and called it the invoice (dishonest).
they fixed this error, but later they added another $500 and tried to get me to sign.
Once they fixed this again, I went to business office where they again had an extra $450 added to the amount to be financed. Once again I pointed out the figures on the sales agreement and they relented.
I am a loyal honda owner but have bought my last 2 Hondas in dealers outside of Salem.
I thought that I would try again in Salem since they were under new management.
Although they eventually fixed their attempt to sneak extra $, it was a painfully long deal - 3 hours.
My 2 previous purchases elsewhere took only 1 hour because the figures were correct and they devivered what they promised.
