Very dissatisfied with work. Poor Customer Service.

onThis was my very first visit to the dealership. I needed scheduled service. I was advised that all 4 brakes (pads and rotors) needed replaced. I agreed. After pickup, I noticed a very high pitched metallic screetching noise when slowing down to a stop. I took the vehicle back the next day. By close of day, no one had called and when I called Ballas,there was no technician to discuss my vehicle. I left messages. I got a call later (he left me a voicemail) the next day from a technician who said he had ordered new brakes and that the ones installed will be replaced. After that, no one called to update on work. I called and left messages for the technician and also left 3 or 4 messages for the service department manager. No one called back. Anytime I called, I would get a receptionist who would say they are not available and then send me to the voicemail but no one ever called back. Eventually I managed to get someone who said she is a customer service manager. I asked her to get me the service department manager and that I had left him messages. She said he was not available and also I should not expect the service dept manager to return my call (and he never did). The customer service manager said she will follow up and find out the state of my vehicle. By now my vehicle had been there for a few days. Later that day or probably the next, I got a call back from the customer service manager stating that my vehicle is ready to be picked up. No technician ever called! I asked if they changed the brakes. She said no but they just blew off dust from it. I said I would need to speak with a technician now but she said no one was available and that I can speak to the technician when I pick up the vehicle. I clearly told her I don't get out of work till 5pm and so I will be there around 5:30pm. She repeatedly assured me that there will be a technician available since they close at 6pm and that she will also be there. I arrived at the dealership at about 5:25pm. There was no technician to answer my questions and the service dept manager as well as the customer service manager who had assured me just 4hrs earlier that she would be there, was also gone for the day! There was only a receptionist to hand me my keys. She couldn't answer any questions and was just reading off what was done from the worksheet. I took my vehicle away. The brakes continue to intermittently make a high pitch metallic sound when slowing to a stop. No one from Ballas GMC has reached out to me since I took my vehicle away. I will not recommend them to anyone. I gave 1 star just because they put some brakes on the vehicle although not to my satisfaction.

onBallas is one of 5 places I was checking on getting a SUV. They gave a price less than the car I turned in on my lease. My wife considers it her Christmas gift. If she is happy then I’m totally happy.

onWe are very happy this is the second car we leased from them, we have a 2017 Buick envision and now a 2018 GMC Terrain. The customer service from salesman (Eric Reed) to final signing was good from start to finish,. no complaints.

onAfter having a very poor experience at another local dealership, we called a salesman we had seen at Ballas while browsing for cars. We talked many times on the phone, and they assured us that they had a GMC Terrain that matched our needs exactly. When we went to the dealership, they had the car that they had described to us. They evaluated our trade-in and after a short period of negotiating, we reached a deal that we considered very favorable. We purchased the car that evening and picked it up on Monday morning. The salesman spent a lot of time to make sure that all of our questions about the new car were answered. This was a very pleasant experience for us. They gave us a very fair price for our trade-in and negotiated a very fair price on the new 2012 GMC Terrain. The dealers personnel were pleasant and professional at all times. We would highly recommend Ballas Buick G.M.C. to anyone who is interested in getting a great deal on a great car without all of the hassle that many dealerships provide.
