by Not Happy on 07/22/2024They already had the wheels off to do the brakes and still charged me 30.00 to rotate the tires. Over charged on parts (shouldn't need new rotors at 60,000 miles), over charged on labor, and never gave me a quote before starting.Cool Tech!
by Sue L on 04/06/2024Even though there was a lineup, I was greeted outside while in my car to inform me of what was going on and why the delay. I thought that very nice to do. The procedures were explained to me completely once inside. The waiting room is… spacious -- maybe a tad bland in decor but clean. Restrooms are nice and clean and it's easy to go to the front and see the cars on display. When finished they come out and get you and provide you with a video of the underside of your vehicle with the tech explaining what he sees. Listen well because it's super fast and hurried...that could be done better but it's pretty cool to see the underside of my vehicle and learn what they look for.Transparent, Fair, No Pressure

He was patient with me during the test drive process. I test drove the car twice. He did not… rush me or put pressure on me. He was attentive to my concerns and answered all questions. He was very transparent about pricing. I felt like I got a fair deal. He spent the time I need with me. This is the 4th Toyota purchase for my family. We keep coming back to Toyota for reliability, I drove my last Highlander over 229,000 miles.Incompetent service department

When I got my vehicle back, they had tossed my belongings and car seat base on the floor in a pile, saying it was not their policy to install car seats due to… liability, and that they had to get to the battery. I don’t think returning a vehicle to someone looking like it was ransacked is good customer service.Mighty Michele!

2013 Toyota Tacoma
by 13Tacoma on 03/02/2017This is the second time I have purchased a vehicle through Yark Automotive Group. Overall my experience was good at the beginning. Starting when I walked in, I was warmly greeted and the lady at the front desk kindly paged the dealer I was… looking for. My dealer was very professional and friendly and took extra care to ensure my needs were met while at the dealership. My dealer ensured that the vehicle was ready and pulled up all the pertinent information I needed to go on my test drive. There was a dent on the vehicle that was not listed or advertised before I did an inspection, however my dealer offered to have it looked at in shop to see if they were able to get it fixed if I purchased the vehicle. After my test drive I returned and was quickly brought over to the dealers desk to discuss options for trade ins and purchasing the vehicle. This is obviously no ones favorite part, but this is where I started to have trouble. Time and time again I explained to both my dealer and financial manager that I had been pre-approved through my bank and that I was working through my local branch. I had already done everything and had my credit checked with my bank. However I was assured everything that the dealer was doing was going through my bank. What they did not tell me was that they were financing through Yark to my bank who now does indirect loans with them. I was mislead to believe that I was still using my bank, which in a way I was, but not in the way I had asked. My wife and I are very conscious about our credit so I was upset to find out that they did a full credit check again, when I kindly asked them not to do so, and to give me a purchase agreement to return to my bank with. Had I known what was going on, I would've taken the time to correct them. I felt I was mislead intentionally and it made my night even more upsetting to find out what had gone on. I am by far not an expert on these matters and maybe I should've seen what was happening but I was very clear in what I wanted and the dealership should have known that. Not only did they finance through them, they were trying to get us to understand that our APR would possibly go up if the bank didn't accept the APR that I asked for. I was told when I was pre-approved that my rate would be exactly a certain percentage, and I expected to keep that percentage. Now both my wife and I have two hits on our credit and we had to withdraw my original application for a car loan through my bank, creating a bunch of unnecessary work for myself and finance manager at the bank. Also while meeting with the finance manager to finalize the paperwork, he rushed through the temporary registration for the vehicle and spelled my name wrong. While he gave me the opportunity to fix it, I had already had enough on my mind with everything else that I just signed the paperwork so I could be on my way. In the end, I ended up with a new truck but after this experience and my last one with Yark Automotive, I will never purchase from them again.We sincerely apologize that you are contacting us with these concerns. 2016 Highlander XLE AWD V6

Yark offered me a great selling price via the internet compared to other dealers. My Sales… Advisor Chris was outstanding, thoughtful and gave a detailed explanation of all the options this vehicle offers. Chris was especially helpful with the navigation and Entune suite - the technology is off the charts. No gimmicks or hassles, Yark was great to deal with from sales, to finance, to delivery. Toyota Highlander

It was a hard decision as the van was in very good shape but it just had a lot of miles on it. We decided to purchase the Toyota Highlander, but… would only do so if we received a fair trade-in amount. They gave us exactly what we wanted on the trade in and even went lower on the purchasing price. We were very happy with how everything was handled and it went quickly and smoothly. 2001 Prius Powered Down while I was driving

He cleaned the mass air flow sensor and that fixed the problem. It was completed by 3:30 PM when Mr. Stokes… called me. I am quite pleased with my service.Great Experience

We met Cameron who was the sales associate who assisted us through our whole buying process. I want to say to anyone who goes to Yark Toyota to ask for… Cameron. He worked with us and conveyed our needs and the needs of his manager to both parties involved in a very professional manor. I truly felt he cared about not only our experience at Yark but my wife and I as people. The car was amazing and my wife loves it. We both agree without any doubt that Cameron is one of the best salesman we have met through our car buying journey. This last visit I made an unscheduled stop as there was scraping noises coming from the back of my van. The service technicians immediately took care of me,… which is always the case. I had no other way to get home so they provided a shuttle for me. I was told that I needed a rear differential, after asking several questions it was decided that it needed to be replaced. (This was Saturday) On Monday morning I received a call from Carmen asking me if they could try to flush and clean the differential before replacing. This idea was suggested by one of the service technicians. They called me the next day and told me that the flushing and cleaning worked. This saved me $1300. I had no way to get back to Toyota and they again provided a service shuttle, that was truly appreciated. Thank you to the Toyota service department for not only helping me save money but providing transportation.We will always be here to help when you need us! Thank you for your business!
