by Anthony SC on 10/21/2021

Leased a Chevy Equinox from Mac. Breezed through the paperwork and the whole process was painless

Great dealership!

by andrewb on 08/25/2017

Great experience from start to finish. Robert Baransky went out of his way to make us happy. He explained features in depth and answered any and all questions.

best dealership...best salesman

by tmitchem on 06/06/2017

This is our 2nd car we have purchased from Jeff Gordon. Our salesman, Sharod Wallace, is one of the major reasons we returned. Sharod is knowledgeable, courteous and takes care of his customers from beginning to end and then in an ongoing relationship as well. When you purchase from Jeff Gordon and Sharod, they make sure that your entire purchase from beginning to end is satisfactory and that your experience is satisfactory. Also, Stacy in the service department has been tremendously helpful to us in our recent purchase as well. I've told them all at Jeff Gordon, as long as Sharod Wallace is there, I will continue to return to Jeff Gordon, they honestly have a gem in this young man!

why make your own mistake, learn from mine.

by forrycc on 12/20/2016

Why make your own mistake when you can learn from mine. Went from extremely happy to extremely disappointed in about a month. I can only assume the high star rating is only because most people haven't had to try using their "awesome" warranty. I bought a 2015 Jeep Cherokee in mid November. The night I bought it my sales associate Chris Whitehurst noticed that the front left tire had about 20ish psi when it is supposed to be at 36psi so he had it filled up. I really liked it so I went with it, it came with the extended warranty and I bought the second best warranty avaliable. Took it home and the next week when it got colder and I started using the heat I noticed the driver side vent didn't work. I went away for a couple weeks up to VA for training came back and my tire was visibly low on air (22psi) so luckily there was a air station half a mile down the road. Contacted my sales associate Chris and he told me to come in on the 20th to have it fixed. Got there and was told I didn't have an appointment. Sat in the waiting room and 2 hours later im told by Matt Verge that there is a nail in the tire and there's no possible way it had the nail in it when I bought it. So I'm told I need a new tire for 190$ and the vent will cost 700$! (seven hundred dollars) on top of the 100$ for the initial inspection, these were issues wrong with it when I bought it. Lets recap, I buy a vehicle for a little over 19 grand and the second from the best warranty they offer and here I'm being told I need to pay 1000$ to get my vehicle the way it should had been when I bought it. I will make sure all the guys I work with know not to waste the gas and time making their way down here from Camp Lejeune. If youre going to get screwed my as well get screwed atleast get screwed locally, not an hour and half drive away. I will jump through some hoops to have this dealer put on the not recommended list. After talking to my sales associate Chris he was able to get with the maintenance department and said he was able to take half the cost of the tire so I'm extremely happy that Chris was able to make it apparent that I was sold a vehicle with a nail in the tire. I should had made sure the tire issue was fixed before I signed papers so I'm willing to pay for half of that mistake. Hopefully my vent issue can get resolved without a 700$ price tag.

Great sales team

by Blk2500HD on 06/29/2016

After a negative dealing with another Chevy dealership. I called Jeff Gordan Chevrolete and made an appointment through Katy, the online consultant (who was extremely nice and polite) to come in and see if they could help me out. I came in to look at and possibly buy a new Silverado 2500HD LTZ Z71, I was greeted by the the team leader Ruben who was extremely polite and lisened to what I was looking for. He had James Chirico take care of us. James did an awesome job showing us what they had and didn't waste my time when I told him exactly what I wanted. They had the exact truck I was looking for. James took care of everything and gave amazing advice when it came to options and looking at the various trucks they had which were more than I could possibly imagine a dealer having. I got a great deal in the end with extras I was looking for. The Finance guy (who's name I can't remember) did a great job of explaining everything to us and there was nothing left unexplained. Great team, great dealership and they actually call you back when they say they will, very professional team all the way around. I would definitely recommend anyone looking for a New car or truck. This won't be the last vehicle we buy from JG Chevy.

You can't expect to hold me accountable for something I said

by elizabeths2 on 04/24/2016

I am the average consumer like you. I did a thorough research before committing to 2015 Equinox. As advertised, seemed to be the best value to comparable models. Like many people I am buying a new home. Having payments would hurt the loan process and approval amount. Because I have a great credit score and the money, I decided to do a one time pay for the 2 year lease up front as one payment so that it wouldn't impact my home loan. I raised my concerns about what would happen if I was in an accident and the car was totaled because I would need to do something different if it wasn't covered. Their finance manager(Nick) assured me any unused months would be prorated and given back to me by their gap coverage. Based on what was said to me, I bought the car and 6 months later was hit by an uninsured motorist that ran a red light. My insurance did their part. I waited almost 3 months, trying to work with them. They didn't give me any of my money back (gap coverage). The contract I signed with Nick did not specify that it did or didn't include gap coverage. So they chose not. When I tried to talk to Nick at Jeff Gordon about it, he quickly replied "yes they should give you the unused months back". When I explained they weren't, his response was "well you can't expect to hold me accountable for something I said". Before acting irrationally, I gave Jeff Gordon the opportunity to fix their mistake. They tried to sell me a car was their solution. I am taking them to court. But my message is this, if I had known about how shady and dishonest they were, I definitely would've gone somewhere else. If they can lie about whatever they like and not hold to it, is this someone you want to do business with?

Awesome sales team

by Tcruse24 on 11/18/2015

2015 Silverado 2500 HD, Duramax, 4x4 Z71. I initially called and spoke with Ryan Stimmel Because I didn't live close by, he emailed details for a couple trucks that I was interested in. The next day I drove 4+ hours to see and drive the truck. Ryan and Robert Baransky were extremely accommodating and Robert spent a lot of time showing me everything about the truck. I knew I was going to purchase from Jeff Gordon Chevrolet based on them. I came home and finalized the paperwork and drove back the next day to take delivery. Robert had everything ready and the process was very smooth. I couldn't be happier with the deal I received and the service of everyone. It was worth the time spent driving to the dealership and I will recommend them to my friends. Awesome team...

Jeff Gorden Chevy & Errington are the best!!!

by m_winter on 03/31/2015

My husband and I were looking for a truck that could tow our camper, we had already bought from Jeff Gordon Chevy and were very happy with the service so we decided to see what you all could do for us. Our salesperson was Errington, and he is by far the best car salesperson we have ever delt with. He is both polite and knowledgable. He never made us feel pressured and made sure that our needs were met. In the end we ended up with a new Silverado 2500 with all the bells and whistles we wanted. I honestly feel that you guys should have Errington train your salespeople, it will more than likely increase your sales. Thank you all so very very much!!! -The Winter's

Time is Money

by captain22 on 07/01/2011

As a business person I have limited time to shop for vehicles. Jeff Gordon Chevrolet makes the process simple and stress free. Their website is user friendly & the sales staff listened to what I wanted and handled all my needs. After a few phone conversations the saleperson has what I am looking for pulled up when I arrive for my scheduled appointment and things go quickly from there.

High pressure

by tbone15 on 07/12/2008

Recently I was shopping for a new Silverado, I had a pretty good idea of what I was looking for and stopped by Jeff Gordon Chevrolet to check out their selection. Before I could even get out of my car there was 3 guys coming after me. Well I talked with one of them and decided to look at there trucks, I was trying to tell this guy what I wanted and I don't think he listened to a word I said, he keep trying to show me this loaded down truck that just wasn't what I was looking for, then he got his manager involved and he wouldn't listen either, finally i got away from them and I will never go there again. Who needs all this pressure to buy the wrong truck.
