Work was performed as requested for a very reasonable price. Complimentary shuttle service was very convenient and the drivers were courteous and friendly. Everyone at the dealership is knowledgeable and helpful.

Since moving to North Carolina in 2012 I have bought two vehicles from John Heister in Fuquay. The customer service has always been the best both in the purchasing side and the maintenance side. They never try to oversell and they make every visit a pleasure. John Heister is my dealership for life!

Oil change

Got there on time for my oil change and tire rotation. I was in and out within an hour. This was great cause others have told they were there for hours .

Dropped the ball

I always bring my truck to the dealership for service, repairs, etc. Always have a pleasant experience with great service. This time they really, really dropped the ball! On my last oil change I made arrangements and appointment to return on April 1st for (4) new tires, and front brakes. The service advisor quoted me a price for my (4) tires and helped me reserve a loaner car so I could leave and make my other appointments that day. I was told it would take about 1/2 a day for the service. I arrive at 0730 only to be told there are no loaner cars and I was stuck. Around 0815 the service advisor said they could arrange a courtesy shuttle to take me home. Now I am stuck at home with no transportation. I had to cancel my other appointments for that day. I was told they would call when my vehicle was ready. At 4 pm when I had not heard anything, I called the dealership to check on my vehicle and was told it was ready for pick up. I had to arrange for the courtesy shuttle to come pick me up, only to arrive and find out my vehicle was still not ready. At 5pm I was presented with the bill that was more than I was quoted, saying the tire prices had gone up. (keep in mind April was a tire sale at the dealership). After showing frustration, the manager was brought in and offered several $10.00 coupons and a $25.00 gift certificate to get the price down for the tires that I was originally quoted. After years of being a repeat loyal customer, really disappointed on how this visit went from start to finish.

Overpriced

Way overpriced. $2300.00 to fix my car at the dealership. I took my car to someone else and they fixed it for $550.00.

Best experience ever!

The sales team at John Hester was so great. They worked with our pricing and helped with the technology in the vehicle after leaving with the car. This is our second time working with this dearship, and I'm certain it will not be our last. Saftey features The Chevy has great detection censors. Recently while driving at night. The car detected deer crossing before we spotted them coming out. The brakes were already slowing the car down for an easy stop. Chevy Impala, Great Car!

Worst Buying Experience Ever

I have been shopping for a few weeks for a used vehicle. I found one at John Hiester in Fuquay that I was interested in. For my first experience with this dealership I called to inquire if the vehicle was still available. I was told that it was and asked if I would like to set up an appointment to see it. I told them I would call back later in the day if I could get off work early to come see it. I called back and told them that I was going to come by and see the vehicle and I was told would set up an appointment with a salesperson and have the vehicle ready when I got there. I drove 45 minutes to the dealership. When I arrived I was told that the owner of the dealership was driving the vehicle I came to see and they were trying to get in touch with him to bring it back. Once they got in touch with him he said it would be 30 to 45 minutes before he could make it to the dealership. After driving 45 minutes to see a vehicle that was not actually there, I was not willing to wait. I was a little put off that they knew I was driving quite a distance to see this vehicle and they didn't bother to call me back to tell me it would be best to reschedule for when the vehicle was actually AVAILABLE for me to see. They then offered to have a salesperson bring the vehicle to me in the next few days so that they could save me the gas from driving back out to the dealership again. I reluctantly agreed and two days later I made an appointment (again) to see the vehicle, but this time they were going to meet me close to where I work. We set up an appointment for them to meet me at a specific location during my lunch break. Well I got there 5 minutes early and proceeded to wait for 30 minutes after the appointment time. Well guess what??? The salesperson never showed up. I even called the mobile number I was given to see if they were lost or something, but no answer... I have to say that this is the worst buying experience I have EVER had in my lifetime. Needless to say I did not buy their vehicle, or even get to see it in person for that matter. John Hiester and his owners/management need to get a clue on how to run a business...

I recently took my Chevy Silverado 4X4 to the John Hiester service dept. I explained to them what was going on with my truck and the diagnoses. "the problem had already been diagnosed by Colony Tire on Davis Blvd and they suggested that I take it to a Chevrolet dealer because it would have to be reprogrammed by a dealer after the repair. Great guys at Colony Tire on Davis Drive." anyway. John H. Cheverolet is just a few miles from my home so I took it there. They kept my truck for about 5 days and charged me around $800 in Labor, to replace the sensor and some wiring in my transmission. (Drop the transmission pan to access the sensor and wires, flush and fill my transmission) Ask anyone that works on transmissions and they will tell you that this shouldn't take more than an hour for a skilled technician and the kicker is that my transmission had no other problems before taking it there, now it slips and they tried to sell me a new transmission thinking I would fall for the old don't fix the customers properly and try to sell them more. So I was charged around $800 for what should have been an hour or so of labor, three hous tops waiting on the part. No wonder Chevrolet is going under if people are treated like this when they take their GM products to be serviced.  I am also about to buy a new vehicle and requested a quote through GM and these guys responded. No way I would give them any more business.
