onI bought a 2016 Ford Fusion SE from this Nissan dealership,Poughkeepsie Nissan of Wappingers Falls NY after 19 months the engine blow and the radio and navigation system did not work. During the 19 months I had nothing but trouble with this car. It was in the shop alot. They have had the car for over a month and the refuse to do anything. They claim to have a lifetime power train warranty but it does cover if your head gasket blows. We are stuck paying for a car that we can not drive and Nissan of Poughkeepsie the so called big store will do nothing so I rate this place 1 star if I could give them zero stars I would. Dont buy a car at this establishment! You will be sorry

Mixed Review

onPurchased a used car for my 18 y/old son. Salesman was great answered all our questions. The lifetime power train warranty is a great addition to the used car. I did not need financing as I had a check from my credit union for the purchase. However, I now have two credit inquiries (Transunion and Experian) from NCC\Poughkeepsie Nissan. I have called over to the finance manager and he doesn't know what to do. I told him I will call Transunion and Experian to dispute. Call and find out that you cannot dispute and need a letter from the company that did the inquiry. I then need to send to each of the credit reporting agencies. All this when I told them I am not using them to finance. Now I need to waste my time handling this..... Would have been 5 stars if it were not for this mess. Owner told me two weeks ago that Jimmy would call me. I have not heard from him. I have left him a voicemail as well and no call back.

Cassandra Fiorillo in Financing was also efficient, courteous, knowledgeable and attentive to my questions and concerns, she made the process go very smoothly and I felt I got the best deal available from them both.

If you want a salesman who has your best interest at heart, will go above and beyond to get you the best deal he possibly can and who is upfront and honest, you are in the right place. You owe it to yourself to see my salesman, Denny Tyner. Denny got me the car I wanted at a great price. He was upfront and honest. To top it off, I get free service on my car for the lifetime of my loan so I don't have to worry. I am very happy with my purchase and with the service I received. I appreciate the fact that the dealership continues to help you after you buy your car. Highly recommended!

onSalesman gave the wrong information on financial institutions rate. Hudson Heritage is not an easy place to bank, no online banking, extra fees to pay by phone and a higher interest rate than my own institution.

Horrible sales people and customer service

onBought a car they took advantage of me because i was desperate for a car and i am female...they sold me a car that has a hole in the floor and the front bumper is held together with blue duct tape of course this stuff wasnt pointed out and when i took it back that told me its my problem cause its cosmetic....really?u sold me the piece of crap tom bosko and vinnie distefano...u both are lying cheating salesman shame on you...if u are female DONT GO TO POUGHKEEPSIE NISSAN

onI enjoyed working with the sales team. Purchased a new Frontier and love it. A bit of a gas hog but other than that a great truck. Buy it here, service it elsewhere. They are pricey and the work can be done locally by other shops. Get quotes first at local shops.

onwas looking for a nissian, their advertisement on the radio was so god awefull that i figured i stop in and see if it was better in person... wasnt. i ended up with a dodge up at dutchess dodge. i keep hearing the radio ad and it is just very annoying. did the job of getting me in the door, but couldnt keep me in it.

Waste of my time

onTook a very long time to get car to test drive and close the deal as salesman had to wait for manager approvals etc. After all of that. We bought the 2013 Versa at Poughkeepsie Nissan from Kaleb. Unfortunately Nissan was unable to come up with car color we ordered nor the second choice color either. It was unacceptable to go to a 3rd color choice for a brand new car. We went car shopping again and purchased a Hyundai. Hard to believe Nissan cannot get 2013 cars in the colors they advertise. Could not give us any date it would be available. I was not happy that our credit card was charged for the deposit before they could be sure they could get the car. Susan

onLet's face it, car buying is not fun. Just brought home a 2008 Rogue SL fully loaded today. I got a great deal after I researched the car and played POK nissan against another dealership a few miles away ( I used a free buying service to low-ball the price at the other dealership). Once I stated the price from the other dealership, Mike Werths immediately dropped that price another $100 (not much but a nice gesture). Initial sales visit was very informative, no pressure and quite relaxed. He let us get the info we wanted and leave, no numbers discussed. Negotiation occurred over the phone and the only beating I took was $200 less on my trade than I wanted. All paperwork was efficiently and quickly prepared, car was located and transported quickly. The whole process took less than 48 hours to complete. I payed only about $400 over invoice and there isn't an option available on the Rogue that I don't' have. I'd give a 9.5 out of 10 only for the stupidly high-ball price he gave me before I started haggling, but would you expect anything different?

onThis is 03\27\08. I bought a 2006 Frontier from them new.They are very good at what they do. They don't hover over you every moment. When you are ready they will assist in every aspect of the sale. They are very professional. If it wasn't for their service dept. I would buy another car from them.

Decent Initial Visit

onI've gone to this dealership twice and it's been pleasant so far. The sales people are there to help, but don't hover over you like a buzzard waiting to pluck the last dollar from your savings. I'll probably go there again to test drive and we'll see if the situation changes, but so far so good. I recommend people get internet pricing before going in there and deal with the salesman that responded to you. Get a couple emails going with them and develop a relationship before heading in. That way they kind of know you and your expectations.
