Ferrario Ford Lincoln

My lease term ended and given the very poor selection of new or used vehicles on the lot I decided to buy out the vehicle I had leased. I got the 10 day payoff from Ford Credit and called Ferrario to complete the transaction, as Ford Credit won’t just accept a check. You have to go to a dealership. When I reviewed the paperwork Ferrario had added $500 to my payout amount, added $295 for “used car check”, over $200 for registration (my vehicle is already registered and inspected) and then additional state fees as well as the document and title fees. I called and spoke to the sales manager to see if the fees are an error, but he told me that it was not an error. It is the owners policy to add these fees. That’s right, Mr. If-you-don’t-see-me-I-can‘t-save-you-any-money Don Ferrario, has a policy to pirate Ford lessees out of $900 and put it in his pocket. I called other dealerships and ultimately paid $930 dollars less to buyout my vehicle.
