A happy buyer of a certified 2015 RDX

Rick is a fantastic sales man. He gave us tremendous amount of help for this certified 2015 RDX, including pre- and post- transaction. Rick also sent us a follow-up email and gave us a follow-up phone call regarding our purchase. We have already been highly impressed by the quality service from Acura of Rochester (many people in the service center, and particularly Peter), which motivated us to acquire a second Acura. The purchase experience on 2/1/2018 further emphasized that outstanding services from the sales department. Thank you.

Great experience - again !

Another great experience-traded a 2009 TSX for a new TL, love the car BTW. The process was smooth, fair and comfortable. They are pros at this dealership. Very good at explaining details of the car, financing options etc. Very fair on trade value of old car. Joel L. is the sales repr. to see !! A real pro ! This is my 5th new John Holtz car ( 1 BMW, 2 Audis, and 2nd Acura-great service dept. as well) Don't go anywhere else..

It looks like I might be in the minority on here but I had an absolutely horrendous experience at this dealership. Spoke with them via e-mail, got all the pricing, fees, etc and drove to the dealership. Now I'm not sure if the salesman we were working with was dumb or arrogant but he would sit there and stare at me while I spoke then when I finished speaking, he would not say a thing - just continue to stare. It was so ridiculous, they made me feel like they could care less about earning my business. When it was time to test drive the car he simply handed us the keys and said see you in a bit. He knew we were not from the area and did not tell us where to drive. He did not show us any of the features in the car. We got back, he asked how it was and I started to have a conversation only to be glared at again. They kept us sitting there for almost two hours and we ended up walking over $500. I'm not sure if they did not take us seriously or what, but it was really quite awful. The pathetic thing is that if the salesman had treated us better or at least tried to have some sort of personality rather than staring at us with an arrogant "we don't need your business smirk" we would have accepted the $500 difference and probably just put more down to reduce our payments. The next day we went to another Acura dealership and wrapped up a sale in an hour flat with a lower sales price and higher trade in. The real kicker is that the owner was there watching the entire encounter while talking - very loudly - about the price of his new Porche. We may be young but no salesman should ever judge a client the moment he or she walks through the door and I'm pretty convinced that is exactly what took place here. As someone who values this website and relies heavily on the reviews of others I wanted to make sure I put my two cents out there. I can also assure you that this review is not made worse because we were mad we didn't get the car because we did get it, just from another dealer.

Good Sales experience, Awful Service

I purchased my MDX from Rick Gross. He is an amazing Sales Person. He took me for a test drive in two vehicles in a snow storm. He was helpful, attentive, low pressure and pleasant to talk to. The price was good, the trade in values were good and the process went great. Since this is the only Acura dealer in Rochester, your choices are limited. If your buying one, definitely go see Rick. He still follows up. He sends birthday cards and a Christmas card. He is the best Sales Person I have ever had at any dealer.

I recently purchased a TSX from this dealership and they are outstanding. The General Manager, Paul will go to any length to ensure the customer is happy. My salesperson, Brian was also very good and extremely knowledgeable about the vehicles. I would recommend this dealership to anyone including my friends and family.
