This is my second purchase at Shrewsbury VW, happy returning customer. I've had the pleasure of working with Mike Colella both times, he is very helpful and goes above and beyond to make sure you walk out with the car that best suits your needs. I live in North Jersey and take the drive to shrewsbury because my experience was great and very worth the trip. I will highly recommend getting your car from them.

Recently I stop in the afternoon by Shrewsbury VW to look at vehicles available to rent. I was lucky to meet Scott Bradley, Sales Associate, He was very kind to show several models to me. I was impressed as he answered all my questions and explained clearly the features from a Tiguan model. He listened to my requirements, and asked me if I would you like to take a ride on it? Sure, I said, He gave me the key and I did enjoy riding the Tiguan. Then, I explained my financial situation and Scott put together a package that I liked it. We did talk with the General Manager, agreed on the terms and I left that evening with a 2019 Tiguan. That was amazing! It was like the TV advertisement. "If you need a car drop by and you would leave with a new car" as simple as that sounds. Also they have good coffee!

Paint fading

I purchased a pre owned certified Jetta at this dealer for my daughter in the month of May, by August the drivers door was a completely different shade of red. When I went in for service with the vehicle I addressed it with Jack our original sales person and he told me that the car came in off a lease and was probably repaired and painted before being returned (yes, pretty sure I figured that out ) and there was nothing they could do! Hmmm? Nothing? Well maybe that is good business, not for me, maybe repaint the door at dealer cost, something...

Wow! I had always wanted a VW Beetle Convertible. Recently a customer at my job pulled up in one so I had to ask her thoughts on it. She told me she loved it and that Shrewsbury VW was the place to go if you are looking for a VW. I am very grateful for that advise. This was the best experience I have had in buying a car. No pressure, no gimmicks, and to the point. Once I decided on the car I wanted, they had me in and out in under an hour. I would highly recommend Shrewsbury VW. Michael the sales manager, as well as Mike and Max helped me and all three were excellent. Very grateful and a happy customer!

I have been a loyal VW owner for 15+ years and have leased/purchased VW's from several dealerships. My lease was up, so I went into the dealership to inquire about leasing something different. I had previously owned Jetta's and a Passat and thought I wanted an SUV. I leased a tiguan and immediately knew I made a mistake. I had owned sedan's in the past and the ride was noticeably different. I went back the next day and was asked how I was enjoying my new car. I expressed that I felt I made a mistake . The sales department, Mike Piambo, as well as the owner, contacted me and actually returned the car. They put me into another Jetta and I am very happy. I know legally they didn't have to help me, but they wanted to ensure that I was happy. In addition, the finance department , Mike, was incredible. In the past , I always dreaded purchasing a car because of the high pressure sales tactics. I did not experience any of that at Shrewsbury Motors. Thank you for making a very happy (loyal) customer! Was researching specific vehicle (Passat TDI), Shrewsbury had one that fit my needs, and advertised at a fair price. At the time I was very busy, so did not have lots of time to spend car shopping. Sent request and was promptly contacted back. "Max" said he would be happy to show the car, and being I only had limited time available, I agreed to come in to see the car. Max had the vehicle outside ready to go for an immediate test drive when I arrived. Took the test drive (liked the car) and returned to dealership. Max was very helpful and did not pressure at all as some salesmen are known to do. We came to an agreement and closed the deal. Finance people very friendly and helpful as well. Left the dealership in short time with the car I was looking for. Couldn't have been a better car buying experience. Rich R.

My New 2017 Jetta GLI

I am extremely happy with my purchase of a 2017 Jetta GLI. This car threw me back in the seat when I test drove it. That sold me on the car right then and there. Fit and Finish were terrific. My sales person, Jack Fitzmaurice at Shrewsbury VW was truly fantastic, This is the second time I have bought a VW from Jack. The other being the 2012 Beetle that I traded in. This is the second NEW VW and the fourth that I have owned over the years.Those being a 1973 Standard Beetle, 1999 "NEW" Beetle.I currently own a 1974 Super Beetle that I have shown at the dealership (just showing it off LOL) and I was treated with the same respect and interest as if I bought the car there back in 74. (Not possible as I wasn't; born when the car was built) Overall, it was a great experience for me, and I would highly recommend this dealership to anyone who was interested in a New or Pre Owned VW. My New Jetta

I just wanted to take a moment to say what a great experience I had purchasing my new Jetta. It took awhile to come to a mutual agreement but my wonderful salesman Max Rolerson and I worked at it until it was a win for both of us. I love my new car and would highly recommend this dealership to anyone looking for a new car.

I have been leasing VW's from this dealership for over 10 years. Always been a great experience. Recently turned in my Jetta for a 2017. Worked with Jack. Everything was done in a few hours. He was great. I recommend this dealership to anyone that is looking for a VW.

I want to thank Gino Dellomo for all his input, & especially Max Rolerson who was the sales man involved w/my lease. He acted very professionally & was extremely "low-keyed." He is also very knowledgeable about all the "bells & whistles" w/the Passat. My wife is extremely happy w/the car, & or course when one have a happy wife, one has a happy life.

I recently purchased a 2016 Passat from Shrewsbury Volkswagen. I dealt with Max Rolerson & Michael Colella who were extremely professional, fair and thorough. They provided a friendly atmosphere with no pressure, that made me feel comfortable during the whole process! I would highly recommend Shrewsbury VW if you are thinking of buying or for service of a VW. I have been going to them for years. The dealership is attentive and caring and provide great customer service!!

sleazy sales tactics

Trying to sell me a car by telling me someone flying in from Illinois tomorrow is putting a deposit on it, but they'll take my 2nd deposit. So they're willing to screw this other guy out of a car he's spending time and money to get? Or are they just trying to collect my money and hold it. Very dirty sales tactic which I will not support.

I traded in my 2013 Jetta and purchased / financed a 2016 Golf last week. I worked with Jack as I had done back in 2013. The service is excellent. Jack is a low-key saleperson. He takes the time to explain options and help you come to a decision without the spin or pressure. He is trustworthy and a pleasure to work with. I highly recommended Shrewsbury VW sales and service as a repeat customer. This dealership also services by 2004 Passat, used initially by my father-in-law, then me, then our eldest daughter and now our youngest daughter. We always get reliable and excellent service.

After talking and speaking to other dealers in my area I contacted Shrewsbury Volkswagen last because they were very helpful on the telephone. I originally spoke to Angelina. When I arrived I spoke to Ralph Napolitano. He was aware that I would be coming in and let me take a test drive. He knew everything about the car! He showed me how to operate the GPS since I wanted the car with all the technology. After the test drive we sat down and in 20 minutes we had a deal! I was very impressed with how Ralph handled the deal. No pressure,he listened to what I had to say and it was done! I would recommend anyone to Ralph and Volkswagen Shrewsbury!! Even the sales manager Gino was nice. After 3 dealerships in my area,Shrewsbury, Rydel and Neptune, Shrewsbury stood out!
