Peter C Makes House Calls

I visited a local VW dealership for pricing on a new car. I was NOT satisfied with way I was treated and the pricing was higher than sticker price for the car - because of dealer add-ons. I left there fast - not wanting to be their next victim! I remembered a friend telling me about his car buying experience at a VW dealership. I called Pete and explained to him the vehicle I was interested in buying and the price I wanted to pay after researching the pricing on the internet. Immediately Pete worked with me and provided the best pricing available from any dealership in NJ. I Closed the deal over the phone. The next day Pete drove the car to my office and we completed the paperwork there. This is the exect car I wanted at the best price with the best service. I can saw I was wow'd. I was so impressed with Peter C that I recommended him to a co-worker who also purchased a vehicle from Peter. Thanks to Peter C for making this a very enjoyable experience for me ! Great Job !

Awesome Experience

I hate buying cars....... But this experience was so different. The sales agent - Peter is very likable and instead of trying to "sell" me any car, he listened to what I wanted. He was very informative about all aspects of the vehicles he showed me and took the time to walk me through everything on the Volkswagen I decided on. I would refer all of my friends and family to see him to buy a car.

Had to buy a new car

We had to buy a new car becase the car that we had was old and needed too many repairs. My husband looked online at cars from this dealership and within 5 minutes we received a phone call and email from Pete C. to introduce himself and to help us in anyway to look/buy a new car. We went into the dealership and Pete had several cars ready for us to test drive that he thought would good options for us. Which he was right! we bought one of the cars that he selected. Pete was very motivating and energectic to get us approved to buy this car. We did not have great credit at all but somehow, Pete made it happen so that we could get approved. He was extremely helpful in this car buying experience!

Very informative and straightforward

From the initial phone call to this dealership i spoke with Pete C. and he was very informative and straightforward. He gave me as much detail of the car as possible over the phone and promptly scheduled an appointment for me to test drive the following day. He had the car parked right in front, upon my arrival, and knew every feature and was happy to show me and teach me everything the car had to offer.. something every other car dealership i had been to had failed to do. Business was great, i got a great deal and a great car. He checked up on me twice since buying the car to make sure I'm satisfied and everything is good. He was very helpful, honest, straight forward. loved my experience here!

They suck!

Sold us a crappy car, with multiple problems. We paid top dollar. Been to service problems already 3 times. Salesman would not budge on asking price.

I walked in Hamilton VW today around 11am, excited about buying a great product, and walked out 5 hours later with nothing except a cranky toddler, a cracky baby, in tears, and reassured that car dealers behave dishonestly. We wanted to buy a new 2009 Jetta, and we were told there would be a discount involved because the model was a year old. The MSRP was $20,536. Jeff, our salesman also told us that our car qualified for a factory incentive of 2.9%apr for 60 months or $1500 rebate. Naturally, the 2.9% apr made more sense than the outrageous 6.9% regular rate. He went and spoke with his manager and told us we would get about an $1100 discount for it being an older model. He also told us that it would take about an hour to set up all the paperwork, so we tried to kill some time entertaining and feeding the kids since the two months old, as well as the 4 year old were hungry. A couple of hours later we were asked to go into the finance office, where we were sold a $1600 extended warranty package that would have discounted the car by 1% apr (incentive for buying it now, instead of later). In my mind we were now going to pay something like $18,000 + taxes + tags + the $1600 warranty at 1.9%apr for 60 months. Around 4pm (5 hours after walking into the dealership) the contract was finally presented to us. We were now to pay $18,000ish +taxes +tags +$1600 at 5.99%apr for 60 months. I was outraged that on top of them trying to blatantly rip us off, they were trying to convince us that if we don't take the 5.99%apr they would have to INCREASE the price of the car by $1500 (they claimed to have taken it off the MSRP instead of the $1100 older model discount!). It seems that the MSRP is whatever they want to make it, and it is not really a fixed price. Many of you would say duhhh... Well, it was news to us. Funny thing: online the same Jetta (s) goes about $18,000. They also had no consideration for our time and the comfort of our kids. There were about 5 people sitting around the dealership, and the whole time we were there nobody offered us anything, not even a cup of water. I am outraged at their behavior! I wonder if I will ever have a positive experience going into a car dealership.
