Stellar

Professional, no nonsense or run around, straight to the point and didn't waste my time. I went to 3 other dealers that night- and getting numbers from them was like pulling teeth. When I walked into Schumacher it was like a breath of fresh air. If it's always like this - I wouldn't think twice about leasing from them again in when this one is over. Keep it uppppppp :)

They will change your mind about dealerships

I have had my fair share of crooked dealerships and salespersons, but today proved to be a very positive experience. I was lucky to deal with two knowledgeable individuals whom helped me get the truck of my dreams. Not only did they not push additional packages and erroneous fees on my bottomline, they gave me exactly what I wanted and worked with me to get a good pricing. I'm very happy to have chosen Schumacher as my dealership of choice to get my new car, I will definitely refer them to others. A big thank you to David and Tim.

Gearhart chevy doesn't care

The Denville dealership is a joke! I leased a 2015 malibu lt in february of 2015 and the first week it won't start...ends up it's a bad battery...a bad battery in a brand new car!? Ok so now after 10 months it won't start again so it's currently in for service. You would think a brand new car that breaks down twice in 10 months is a rare event. BUT when i speak to the sales manager all I get is defensive answers to my questions...and the main point he got across to me is "that's what warranties are for". Are you kidding me? Not once did I get any sympathy at all. I expected when i went to speak to him is he would say something like that's very unfortunate very sorry to hear that what can we do for you? Nope...I get nonsense defensive answers like "well you have a warranty" and "no car is perfect they do break down". What a classless way to treat people. This is my 3rd car with them and definitely my last!!!

My new car from Gearhart

I decided to purchase a car at Gearhart because of the experience that my family has had purchasing from there for the last 17-20 years. They have always treated my parents as if they were family and they did the very same for me as I purchased my car from them. Walter was a big help in purchasing my Malibu and he helped me get the right one that had everything that I wanted. Everyone that we interacted with was very kind and made me feel like I had known them for years.

Avalanche Service

Just dropped in on the way home and knocked out an oil change, tire rotation and replaced a sensor all within an hour that threw the check engine light and got me going back home. What more can you expect.

Gearhart Made my Truck Look Brand New

The 2014 Silverado I purchased at the dealership last fall was involved in an accident. I was very pleased to learn that the Gearhart was an approved body shop for my insurance company State Farm. I had confidence that I was taking my truck to the right place for repairs based on my earlier Sales experience with Gearhart. The truck once again looks and drives like the day I drove it off the lot. Thank you.

First Class Experience

We would like to express our thanks for a truly outstanding car shopping experience. Garhart Chevrolet was the first stop on our search for selecting our next car. Right from the start, my wife and I were very comfortable with the personable and low pressure atmosphere. Lou, our sales consultant was very knowledgeable when it came to answering our questions, and we also felt that he really took the time to listen and understand what we were looking for as potential car buyers. We were also impressed with the appearance of the dealership. As local residents, we have seen the dealership undergo recent renovations and we were very comfortable with the idea or returning for our future service needs. After our initial visit we tried looking at other brands and found those experiences to much less favorable in comparison. Not only were we impressed by the Equinox after looking at the competition, but we were also feeling less comfortable with the overall car buying process after visiting some other dealerships. At the end of the day, my wife and I agreed that "if we could have such a positive experience at our very first stop, maybe we should just go back and give Gearhart a try". From that point on, right up to the delivery of our new car, it was a pleasure to work with everyone involved. We are very pleased with our new Equinox and would like to once again express our sincerest gratitude to everyone at Gearhart for all their efforts in making what can sometimes be a real challenge into a great experience for our entire family.

The sales and service staff are always pleasent, helpful, and knowledgeable. Dropped of the car in the morning, they had a similar car for a loaner, and I was able to pick up my car th next day. All went well and I was back on the road in no-time. Thanks guys your the best!

Great job on fixing the car and my bill was acceptable. I was unhappy with the service receptionist, very unprofessional. She had no idea what she was doing, could not answer any questions, and had me standing there before she even acknowledged me (very young). Receptionist when I picked my car up was older and knew what she was doing, thank goodness! Service desk where I gave all my information was nice and pleasant. Did say I would not owe a dime because of my warranty, but I did owe because this problem was not covered. Car was worked on and finished the next day after I received the call as to what was wrong and how much it would cost to fix it. The driver side of the car was scratched right down to the metal where the door handle is (it's keyless entry), there was grease on the outside of the car door and on the interior of my door, also on the carpet. I am still trying to get it all cleaned up! My car was driven to it's parking spot where they wash cars, mud was all over the side of my car from the mud puddle it was driven through. Will I go back to that dealership, probably because it is close to home.
