Like the old days, no pressure team that keeps one goal in mind... Make a fair deal that is good for the business and the customer. Haven't seen that business attitude for a long long time. My salesman, finance guy, and the guys behind the scenes worked like a well oiled machine, but never lost the respectful personal touch. They worked very hard to make a deal. If you would like to go back in time and be involved in an old school, family style business.. Go to Chapman. I'm impressed and miss that people oriented business practise that has generally disappeared from our culture. Thank you.

Treated like family

I was referred to Chapman from a friend. Even though I have a dealer here local, I drove down to Las Vegas Chapman. I dealt directly with the Sales manager Chris. From the start I was treated like family. Chris worked with me with not having the best credit and got me into the Ram Rebel I wanted. The price was great and I never got pressured for any type of up sale. Chris and his team were nothing but super friendly, courteous, and did everything they said they would. When the financing came in, it took less than an hour after I got to the dealership to fill out all the paperwork and to be driving in my new truck. The selling price was great for a Certified Preowned and was given a breakdown of the pricing. They even ordered me a set of the Mopar Ram head all weather floor mats for free! $165 on Mopar's website. The tax, title, licensing, and dealer fee's were very reasonable! Most of the total cost of the fees were state sales tax. I checked that number and the sales taxes were set by Nevada not the dealer based on the overall sales price. No reason I would expect the dealer to pay the sales tax since they bought the vehicle used from someone and I have proof that they paid the state taxes when they bought it. The dealers fees were very very low. I was very happy with this. Again, the overall experience could not have been better! Treated like family by Chris and his staff, a great price on the truck of my dreams and payments that I can afford. I would highly recommend Chapman Dodge to anyone looking for a vehicle.

They lie about the price you agreed to..

Agreed to a price for my vehicle over the internet. When I went in and signed the contract they inserted there extra warranty without asking me if I wanted it. They also raised the price $600.00 more than agreed upon. Very dishonest people from the G.M. ON DOWN. I would never purchase another vehicle from Chapman dodge again........

"BUYER BEWARE"

"BUYER BEWARE" Just purchased a Truck here. Let's start with the on-line price which NOBODY gets that went up $2000 the minute I walked through the door. (Definitely Bait and Switch) I brought my trade a 2017 Ram 1500 4x4 that had a loan balance of $29,000 about what it was worth retail. To start they asked for my D-License and ATM card for identification. Then we started to work a deal, they offered nothing for my trade $23,200 on a truck with a $47000+ sticker less than a year old. The average trade-in for the truck is $27850. Apparently 2017 Ram's in excellent condition with low miles and spotless are worthless when you trade them in. So to keep it short! They NEVER offered any business cards, still don't know the names of they guys I dealt with. Took funds off my ATM card WITHOUT asking just handed me a receipt and still didn't give me the card back had to ask for it back. Lisa with finance lied said that the lender Silver State Schools CU required an extended service contract costing $2800 upon talking to the credit union they said it was not required. By the time left I now a have 2018 Ram that a year from now will leave me at least $10,000 upside down and that's if I get can get top dollar for my trade which will definitely not happen with Chapman Dodge !!! 1

Dishonest! Sells problem cars without iinforming

I should have read the reviews before even making an appointment with this dealership. I purchased a 2012 Ford Mustang with 40,000 miles on January 27th, 2012. The engine light came on today. It seems suspicious to me that I just had the car for a week and the light just came on. I suspect that they cleared the light and it popped on again after I drove “x” amount of miles. The fault code is P0456 which is a Small Evap leak for the emissions systems. I’ll be calling them today to see if the dealership is willing to do anything. Hopefully they are willing to help make this right. I still won’t be recommending this dealership to anyone because this engine light seems suspicious.

Just avoid

DO NOT GO HERE! We came to Chapman after my boyfriend's car was totaled in an accident that was not his fault. We knew exactly what we wanted, what we could afford, etc. We have good credit and money in the bank; probably the easiest sale they could have made. It has been nothing but lies since. They had to get the Grand Cherokee we wanted shipped from Tempe, Arizona; we should have just driven there ourselves and purchased it, but we started the deal with Chapman, so wanted to honor their effort thus far--big mistake. Once you sign, they stop caring/trying/working. We signed the papers on a Monday, and were told the car would be there Thursday. Tuesday, they told us it wouldn't be there until Saturday. They still wrote the temp plate to expire one month from the date we signed, so we already lost a week. (Oh, and they also came back three days later and said we had to come back and sign more paperwork. In doing so, the finance guy was [non-permissible content removed]--unprofessional, interrupting me, and not even being willing to answer a perfectly reasonable question re the financing process). After having the car a week and a half, we started inquiring about when we would get the green slip so we could register it, as we were going out of town two days before it expired. They changed their story multiple times over several days, but ultimately, said it would be sent through the mail. Fast forward to being out of town and still not having the slip. Kept calling and asking; we were given more excuses, and told that "any cop will understand" if we are stopped. Started getting parking tickets for having expired registration; kept calling, and no action. Was forwarded to Richard, who promised a call back; has not happened. Tried to get a temporary movement permit from NV DMV, but can't do that without the car being registered initially. So now, we have a $50K+ vehicle for which we are paying, and we cannot drive. We will be taking Chapman to small claims court.

Superb Buying Experience

Mark Atkinson initially reached out to me through an internet sale and asked me to come meet him in person. When I arrived, Mark was very attentive and friendly. He was willing to answer any and all of my questions in detail. Mark also had my 2015 Dodge Charger RT ready at the door, so there was no hassle or delay. Mark explained very thoroughly what the new 2015 Dodge Charger RT was equipped with and what it was capable of. Throughout the test drive, he educated me and treated me indifferent and treated me with the utmost respect. He was patient in helping me and waiting for my return to purchase the same vehicle. Mark and I spent some time getting the best deal, but that came with some pushy manager that almost made me leave. After some more time, Mark continued to make me happy no matter what happened. Even after signing my agreement, he still continued to talk freely with me and even joke around. I really appreciate all of Mark Atkinson's help and if it wasn't for him, I would not have the best car buying experience ever! Thank you so much Mark!

Black Friday was well worth it at Chapman! Casey Yahyavi, the internet Sales Manager and "the Marine" not only were they BEYOND friendly, and professional they made us feel like family! We literally had just driven from another car dealership in Henderson who clearly did not want our business (even though we were a returning customer). Casey helped us find a mini-van that we feel in love with and helped us get the best deal possible. We look forward to doing more business with Chapman

Danny Pfeiffer did what I couldn't get anyone else and Chapman Dodge to do. My sons tire shredded on the freeway over 400 miles away from home. He got towed to the nearest dodge dealer who tried to charge us $175.00 when we had a tire warranty. Danny Pfeiffer was the only person at Chapman Dodge that I could get to help us out. He faxed over the warranty documents and we were back on the road. Danny Pfeiffer is customer service personified!

Horrible Experience

After finding a vehicle on Edmunds.com we contacted the dealer by phone. We set up an appt. to test drive a Grand Cherokee. When we arrived at the dealership they spent 1/2 hour looking for the vehicle, when they finally found it they couldn't find the keys. We offered to put down money to hold it, but they insisted that was not necessary. We set up an appt the next day to test drive it. When we arrived the salesman that was suppose to be there wasn't, and no one could find the car. Apparently they said it was in the shop being detailed. Once again we offered money, but with a handshake we were told it was ours. On our third visit, we finally got to test drive it. Obviously it was never detailed, because there was coffee spilled in it, and we found stir sticks, and other trash on the floor. We still decided to take it, so we spent the next hour and a half filling in paper work. Another salesman came out to us and said that someone had already put a deposit on it! Then they tried to put us in a cheaper built car, but with the same price. We had to drive to another dealer to test drive, and we were totally dissatisfied. Not only was the vehicle cheap, but the car pulled to the right. The salesman that was with us, said we needed to add air to the tire. Of course we didn't take it. The manager informed us that they would try to get the car back from the people they sold it to, and that they would get back to us by Monday. We never heard a word from them. We ended up going to Ford Country and purchased a beautiful Grand Cherokee. Going to them was a breath of fresh air, it was clean, and their service was exceptional. On Tuesday, Chapman on Sahara contacted us and they said that the car was ours. Are you kidding me. Our salesman (Freddy) at Chapman was not to blame, as he was fairly new. The manager (Mike) on the other hand was horrible. If you are reading this, please save your time and energy, and go to a dealership that knows what they are doing.

Horrible Experience. Poor Customer Service. Buyer Beware!!

The customer service and competence of this dealership is absolutely unacceptable. Purchased a new vehicle on 5/10/14 and traded in my existing vehicle. First issue: Dealership gave me two days to register my car because they did not provide the green slip for over 3 1/2 weeks. No one even called to tell me it was ready. I had to call to inquire on the status. Second issue: Dealer did not pay off my trade within 30 days. The bank who owned traded vehicle was constantly pressuring me about late payments, when I explained I traded the vehicle in over a month prior. I came to find out that the trade had not been paid off more than a month after the transaction was complete. When calling and emailing the dealer to find out what was going on, no one bothered to return my calls or emails. After several unreturned phone calls/emails over the course of a week, I had to physically drive to the dealership just to get someone to talk to me. The initial finance person that I spoke with was rude and uninformed. Finance director explained that the bank who owned the trade was charging an additional fee to trade the vehicle in early, so the dealership was going to "flat cancel" the contract for the financing on the new vehicle, and finance the new vehicle through the same bank who owned the trade-in, so this trade-in or disposition fee could be avoided. I agreed. After the deal was done, I had to make another payment on the trade-in vehicle that hadn't been in my posession for over a month. Was assured that the issue would be resolved within a week. This took place the week of June 16th, 2014, more than a full month after I purchased the vehicle. After not hearing from anyone from the dealership for over 3 weeks even though the finance director assured me it would be resolved at the latest by the end of the following week, I contacted the dealer on July 9th to see what was going on. Once again, no communication from the dealer after repeated phone calls and emails. I ended up emailing the GM who responded the following day indicating that the finance director had left, which is why I didn't hear from anyone. The dealer failed to contact me after that employee left, leaving me in the dark for 3 weeks what was going on with my transaction. Over this time period, I now had two banks now demanding payments; one for the traded-in vehicle which I did not have in my posession for 2 months, and 1 for the new vehicle for which the contract was supposed to be cancelled. The GM assured me someone would contact me on the day he responded to me. Following the precedent already set, of course no one contacted me that day. I then sent repeated emails to the GM, with no response. After numerous additional unreturned phone calls and emails, I contacted my sales associate to see if he could help. I was told that the issue would be resolved by the end of month, and that I'd have to come in and sign paperwork again for a new loan on the newly financed vehicle. I agreed. I signed the paperwork the week of July 14th, so I now had two active loans for the same vehicle, and an active loan for the trade-in that had still not been paid off. It took until July 28th (2 days before I would have had two 30 days past due reported to the credit bureaus for non-payment for the trade-in and the contract that was supposed to be cancelled) for this situation to be resolved so that the trade was paid off and the original contract was cancelled. This is by far and away the worst experience I've had with a dealership and would recommend avoid doing business with this dealer at all costs. What's more insulting is that I am a return customer, and they couldn't have cared less about the situation. I've been caused so much stress over the past 3 months, being caught in the middle of a situation I had no control over, having to chase down a dealer to do their job and field calls from creditors demanding payment because of dealer incompetence. Shame on you.

The salesman seemed very nice and we left with our new truck. They sent us home, 2 hours away, with a missing rim they said they had to order. A few days later I drove back to the dealership in our other car to pick it up and I returned home to find it was the wrong size rim. So add another long trip to get the correct rim. Two month later and we were signing paperwork for the third time, I was told I would receive a $200 check for all of the trouble. Never happened, when I asked about it I was given a lie and blown off. If they are willing to cheat me out of $200. what are they willing to take from you?? I am probably one of the lucky ones..... There are too many other dealerships to waste your time at this one.

PURCHASED 2013 Ram 3500 Crew 4X4

I recently purchased a 2013 Ram 3500 Crew 4x4 and the experience was GREAT! I am totally amazed of what this truck can do. My truck is rated to 20K lbs- unbelieveable! I had read that Ram tried to incorporate a built in 5th hitch in their design. Mine wasn't built with the PUC system in place. I was able to transfer my Pull-right from my trade-in after I installed a kit from Curt. Many aftermarkets trailer places said nothing was available but I was able to confirm with Pull-right that Curt did have a compatible base kit. My first 600 mile round trip driving without a trailer, I averaged 16.3 gal per mile going and 20.0 mpg on the return. WOW! In a 8000+ lbs beast. I love the truck. Chapman was great through the whole experience. This was the fourth vehicle that I purchased from Chapman. Their service department has always been fair and really communicated any service needs that my vehicles required. Chapman has always treated me fairly and my purchase was easy. AND I got a great deal.

Excellent Treatment even with my credit

I had seen an ad for getting financed with bad credit if I made so much per week. I am leary of car dealerships especially since moving to this town. Not so at this place ...they ran my credit, found me a car, treated me and my wife very good, no pressure, and told me I need $500 more bucks down to get a nice family car we had our eyes. I feel good about this place.
