Terrible service

onAttempted to construct a deal on a used car over the phone. I got ahold of John, told him my scenario, provided the information required(VIN numbers, miles, payoffs etc.) I was called back an hour or two later stating that I needed to bring my cars in to be evaluated, but our figures should line up pretty close. I left work early the following business day, I arrived and was greeted by John, who then took me over to the Mazda store, where their vehicle appraiser then insisted that my car had illegal exhaust etc. (It just passed MO safety and emissions weeks prior) I was then told I would need to fix the items with my car that would "cost them $10,000.00" before they could work a figure on the car. Long story short, I asked for information before I showed up, the sales person didn't follow through on his part and just told me to come in, insisting that we could make a deal. Then they bullied me out of their dealership, insisting I repair my exhaust(it has aftermarket mufflers) even after I offered to install the factory exhaust. Can't say I've ever been treated this way at a car dealership before. Stay away!

Sales fraud

onDealership sold and misrepresented car as new when it had been previously sold and titled in Illinois. Lied about it and tried to deceive me twice. They were caught when Missouri refused to issue title for car. Personal mechanic related horror stories from other patrons of Bommarito, wish I had known. Buy elsewhere.

Got EXACTLY the car I wanted

onOur salesmen at Bommarito Cadillac in St. Peters, Joe Mudd, knew exactly what kind of car I was looking for and the features I wanted. He had the car ready to show me and had numbers already run for me to look at. Took a quick test drive and I said 'Okay, let's make this happen'. He has followed up with me after the purchase to make sure I am still happy and everything is going good., I will certainly be going back to Joe at Bommarito again in the future. This is the 3rd new Cadillac we have purchased from him.

onMy recent purchase of my 2016 ATS Cadillac was an absolute joy thanks to Keith Howell! The entire process was hassle free and happened with very little difficulty. I was pleased that I was able to accomplish the purchase in a few simple hours as opposed to the endless hours that other dealers subject you to. Bravo Bommarito and Keith Howell!

bait and switch

onAfter writing this review, the general manager at Bommarito St Peters contacted me. He apologized for the way I was treated and offered to resolve the issue. He honored the original deal and assigned the sales manger to handle the details. I went to the dealership and purchased the vehicle with no further problems. I appreciate the way the dealership resolved the issue.

Pleasant experience

onMy wife and I found a car we liked online and called the dealer to set up an appointment for a test drive. The pre-owned vehicles manager called back right away and when we showed up at the dealer, the car was freshly washed and waiting. The listed price was acceptable to me as it was below the listed market value, but we did haggle over the trade in value where the end result balanced out the savings from the listed price of the car. This dealer goes by Kelley Blue Book which in my humble opinion, underbids quite a bit from true market value quoted on Edmunds. The manager also did not tell me about the $250 internet coupon which I found online the next day and had raised the listed price of the car by $90 which I didn't notice until too late as I was looking for less obvious tricks and missed the obvious one. The finance department was extremely friendly and was actually able to get us an interest rate lower than the one we were pre-approved for. I would recommend this dealer for the used car experience though the regular sales people were not as friendly in passing while we were waiting for some paperwork to be completed. Overall, it was a great experience!
