The buyer ordered a new vehicle at Frank Leta Honda dealership in OFallon Missouri on 1/3/2015, and received delivery on 3/2/2015. The buyer provides this review at the request of the sales person C.S.
***WHAT THE BUYER LIKED ABOUT THE EXPERIENCE WITH THE DEALERSHIP***
- The sales person is professional, courteous, and pleasant to work with. He kept the buyer informed throughout 2-month waiting period.
- The finance/closing person R.W. is professional, courteous, and pleasant to work with. He worked hard to get an excellent finance deal for the buyer.
- The price is great
Overall price on the car is the lowest among Honda dealers in the region. The dealership honored their agreed-on price from TrueCar.com (with caveat below). The finance rate obtained through the dealership is great.
- The dealerships impeccable facility is enjoyable. The facility truly stands out, even in comparison with the luxury brand dealerships in the region. All the staff are friendly and helpful.
***WHAT COULD BE IMPROVE AT THE DEALERSHIP***
- High-pressure sales on after-market package: The general sales manager M.C. imposed a $750 dealer-installed add-on package on the buyer, as a condition to accept the already agreed-on price through TrueCar.com.
- High-pressure sales on extra warranty service: The finance person spent over an hour during the closing, trying to sale extra warranty service, despite repeated turn-down by the buyer.
- Overwhelming workload on sales person: The sales person had to joggle among several buyers, leading to longer waiting time during the initial visit, and at delivery.
- Some glitches on delivery/closing: The buyer had to make a second trip to the dealership to pick up the second key for the car, and a third trip to put on the pin stripes, part of the after-market package.
