I had been looking for a new vehicle for several months and knew exactly what I wanted: a Nissan 370z. Carl Carter was a great guy to work with. He really worked with me to get the exact trade-in value for my vehicle at the time and then was incredibly helpful, patient and knowledgeable. Over the years my mother and father have both bought numerous cars from the northtowne dealership buildings, and most recently a series of SUVs from mitsubishi from my mother. All have been amazingoing and never needing to be repaired other than regular maintenance. I myself have just bought my first car, a 2015 Mitsubishi Mirage, and I love it! Small, compact, but ample room inside with great gas mileage. Mike Brennan has been our go to guy for years, and he does a great job. I did have to go back the next week to resign paperwork, as they gave me the paperwork for a different Mirage (the one I had test drove), so it did cut a bit of time out of my regular routine. Other than that, amazing service. I will see how the car does and hope to buy another Mitsubishi!

My 2004 Mitsubishi still runs great, no major service required yet and has 145K miles so I was not in the market for a new car. Common sense won out when I heard about the great DEAL and features of the Mirage. A test drive was all it took. The warranty on these cars can't be beat, not that I expect to need it - Mitsubishi makes a highly reliable vehicle. There's no pressure, no sleazy salesmen, just honest, easy to deal with people here. Even the financing process was a breeze! Great place to buy a car.

I went in to Northtowne to look specifically at Mitsubishi Mirages. Carl promptly greeted me and very quickly pointed me to the right car type based on my stated preferences. Everything went very smoothly and quickly, and Carl took me out for a test drive. He gave me a lot of pointers and explanations of how the car and its various features work. Answered questions thoroughly. Carl got me a quick quote on my trade-in car and made the new car purchase easy and efficient. All in all a very pleasant experience involving a big life event (buying a new car).

I had one day to find a car and I had a very specific list I needed to met. One of the things I like most about Northtown auto group is that they have a wide range of cars at there disposal. I had told Carl exactly what I was looking for and my price range. Before I showed up he had a couple of cars ready to show. He never pushed me out of my price range or pressured me to take anything that I didn't want. Even though I needed him at that moment in time, he never once made me feel that way. He was very patient with me and the whole experience was very seamless and easy (as I'm sure helping an indecisive woman is difficult, Carl handled it like a pro).

Northtowne Mitsubishi and Carl C. have set the bar in my eyes for a car buying experience. I went there with a specific car in mind. There was no pressure or pushiness to try and alter my decision. Carl actually complemented me on an excellent choice in vehicle. They brought the car up to the front in a quick and orderly fashion. After a quick test drive I knew it was the car for me. In the negation process I felt like everything was upfront, and I truly feel like I got the best deal possible. Carl was never "shady" or "manipulative", I actually felt like he wanted to get the best deal possible for me! After the negations were done Carl was a very pleasant person to wait with. Very friendly and just an all-around fun person to talk to. Financing was quick, direct and to the point. As I drove away that day I felt as if the dreaded "car buying experience" was a thing of the past. As long as Carl C. is selling cars I'll never buy another car from anyone else... Let me start by saying I grew up in a General Motors family so it was very difficult to even test drive a foreign car. However, after spending time with John and having him educate me on where the Outlander Sport was assembled in Illinois definitely helped. But once I test drove it - there was no comparison to the other models I had test drove (Honda, Chevrolet, Ford, Toyota etc). The dealership was clean, professional, Very pleasant to deal with, respected my time and was very attentive to my needs. I pretty much got everything I wanted, from John's time, to a Very Fast check out, (due to my schedule). My vehicle was cleaned and had a full tank of gas before I left, he even took the time to go over the entire "Bells and whistles" deal again! This was a better experience than one I had before at a Chevy dealership unfortunately. I would highly recommend John and the Northtowne Mitsubishi Dealership to purchase your next vehicle from.

I called Northtowne Mitsubishi before going in, as my mom purchased her Lancer from Northtowne. The receptionist put me through to Carl, and I told him on the phone what my situation was; and that I was looking for a new car. He gave me his direct phone number to his desk, and set up an appointment for me to come in at 1:30pm to take a look at some cars. I showed up to the dealership, and Carl was the first person to great me upon arrival. We made small talk for a bit, since we both ride motorcycles and are around the same age. We went out and looked at a Lancer, and I test drove it and it really wasn't bad. I had told Carl that I wanted to look at Fiat's, and he told me that was no problem at all. We wandered over to the Fiat side of the dealership, and poked around a few of them. I did see one that I really liked, so we took that one out for a test drive and I fell in love! The whole time was actually really light and fun, it was nice talking about not just the car (though he was super knowledgeable about the vehicle)! We came back to the dealership, and did the paperwork and I took my 2013 Fiat 500 Sport home that day! I'm so impressed, and I would absolutely encourage friends and family to shop for their next vehicle at Northtowne Auto Group! Carl was not just my car salesman, he ended up being a fellow motorcycle rider, a caring son who loves to brag about his mom, a therapist who listened to the mile long list of things that had gone wrong for me this week and an overall outstanding individual! When I first saw this car over a year ago I thought it was an ugly golf cart. When approached about a very attractive lease offer I looked into it. I had a list of about 10 items regarding leasing, is it "sign and drive", who pays taxes?, can I have an extended "test drive", is there a "turn in fee" if I dont lease again thru Mitsu like VW has, etc. My salesman, Nick G., went over each "objection" regarding why I should not lease this car and answered all my objections to my satisfaction. No push, no shove, just facts in helping me with my decision. I decided to lease the car, and had an outstanding experience with finance manager. Nick spent a lot of time going over the car and manuals. Since driving an all electric car is a totally different experience from a "traditional" car Nick's patience and care in showing me how to operate this car was greatly appreciated. I've now had the car about 2 weeks-absolutelty love it! Of course it has its shortcomings, but the overall experience so far has been outstanding! In over 40 years of auto buying/leasing experience this was one of the best car leasing experiences I've had. I cant say enough good things about Nick and the Northtowne organization.
